Trending back down, I would love to lose another .6 for an even 5 lbs by this weekend when we leave for vacation. I am kicking myself for not getting serious sooner but oh well!
Nothing much noteworthy this week still eating my planned meals and working out. I did get out yesterday with my daughter and friends for a pedicure which was nice to break up another snowy day here. I then proceeded to wear my flip flops into the market to buy fresh fish for dinner in the small snow storm.
You can do it!! Woo hoo1 -

You sound very cheerful for the physical issues your are facing - I hope you get good information and that you aren't sore from your fall.2 -
Day 3 after the fall on the ice and I've gained 3 pounds - I really think it is because all of the inflammation in my leg. It's still pretty painful and when the swelling is down I'll decide if I go for xrays to see if there is a crack somewhere - it feels like it now, but that could change. I'm frustrated to be sick for 2 weeks, then finally head to zumba and fall! Can you hear me whining from where you live? I'm feeling sorry for myself, for sure.6

do you ever feel like you are getting friend requests that aren't real? I've been getting a couple of requests with nude people or wearing little. Is there a way to notify MFP, or do I just keep deleting the request?1

I'm not sure about what to do about the requests, but I've had several of them too lately. I just decline...1 -
@azkunk
I am sure when you get back to a regular routine things will start moving.
@363days
You get to whine all you want. Do you think it would be better to find out if there is something broken earlier so they could take the necessary steps to start the healing? I will get my fingers crossed that nothing is broke. I am so tired of those friend requests. I just decline them every day.2 -

Wow! Congrats on 50 pounds gone.1 -
@bluetail6 thanks, I'll look for that - must be happening to several people
@888Angie888 for some reason I'm glad to know it isn't just me!
@Megan_smartiepants1970 thank you, I'll report it
@lindamtuck2018 Yes, I think it is a good idea to get it checked, just in case. I've had broken bones before and for me it was hard to tell they were broken. So it sounds like
getting these requests isn't anything new...it's just gross. I'll report then ignore.1 -
@lindamtuck2018 Congrats on the 50 pound benchmark!!!!1

Today’s weight = 137.7lbs. I think I was 137.6 last week, so not great. Kind of frustrating since I have been relatively good this week! Two days ago the scale said 137 even, I liked that better!2

Steps = 4,388
Stationery bike = 60 minutes
I tracked all my food today. That’s a win for me. Tomorrow I expect to do it again.
I hate this COLD!! I walk in almost all weather, but below 0 keeps me in the house. I have learned to walk down to the basement to use the stationery bike. Glad to become friends with that bike again.5 -

I got some really good sleep last night and started my day well. But as the afternoon wore on, I started getting a headache again. Sigh. I worked a bit of OT tonight and have taken it easy since. I’m really looking forward to my week off. I have to work OT on the Saturdays on each end of my vacation, but that’s ok.
I got confirmation today the sit/stand desk I ordered will be delivered next Tuesday, so I plan to get my work space reorganized and set up, and hopefully that will help with things too.
@363days
Oh man, that is very frustrating and I would be whining too. As a fellow Zumba lover, I can get really discouraged when things happen that prevent me from going to class. I hope you can get things figured out quickly enough and you can start to feel better.
I’ve also been getting lots of friend requests. It seems to go in cycles. I as getting a lot for awhile, and it tapered off, but started back up again. I’ve learned to just delete them. Occasionally I’ve accepted something and then when the emails start, I realize that I made the mistake they were a real person interested in health… I appreciate seeing all the advice from everyone on what to do in those cases!

Pretty impressive steps/moving when you aren't feeling your best. You are an inspiration!! Night1 -
@Bluetail6 - Thank you Lee! I think I'm starting to recover! YAY!
@DawnCumm - Hope you have an amazing time at your son's wedding in Jamaica.
Wishing you a healthy and happy vacation! Enjoy!
@lindamtuck2018 - As far as drinking water, I also have issues. I do like to boil and then cool some herbal teas and use that to drink - tastes bettter than water! Sorry to hear that your Fitbit is acting up after such a short time. Hopefully, it will be replaced quickly!
Your mini walks with dumbells sound great! I saw you are having joint problems, so I hope this settles quickly and you can return to walking and working out.
Thanks for the info about the posture too!
@jimboden3 - I think it's great you still lost even with some extra food/snacks during super bowl. Also, I think your choice of getting a rowing machine intead of a TV is great! A nice healthy choice and reward!
@scribb - Sorry things are temporarily going in the wrong direction, but there are many flucutations in the body. Just hold on and it will happen!
@363days - I'm so sorry to hear you were sick for two weeks and then fell down on your knee! OUCH! Goodness! That is supremely frustrating!!! I hope you got your knee checked??? I think Linda is right that you it could be broken or fractured and you probably need x-rays to make sure....As far as the weird friend requests, I think it is very common. At this point, if I see a woman wearing skimpy clothes or partially nude it's an automatic decline. Usually, I do make an effort to look at other aspects of a person's profile such as their goals/inpirations etc, but I'm just done with the porn style pictures. DECLINE.
@heatherbluebell - I sympathize with the polar vortex! Same here! I'm sorry about the situation with your boyfriend. Just do what's best for you! ALWAYS put yourself first! If that is not good for someone else then too bad! I saw you had a lot of check marks on Feb. 8! SUPER! And as far as the headaches, I'm sorry to hear this. My headaches were posture related. Have you considered this? I'm impressed that you choose to do zumba when you were feeling terrible. That is a difficult choice to make, but it is a great one! Congrats!
@littleflutterby - nice weightloss! Reachering 75 pounds is AMAZING! As far as it not being as much as you wanted this week, I think weight fluctuations are just part of the deal. I lost this past week, but I'm pretty sure this next week's loss will be minimal. It just seems to ebb and flow and not be particularly consistent. As long as there is a downward trend, then you are doing all the right things.
@Megan_smartiepants1970 - Sorry about the fall and hip problems. I hope it gets sorted soon. Also, I'm concerned about that bulge in your tummy. Please keep us updated and posted!
@iradi8 - Congratulations on reaching 50 pounds! That is soooo AWESOME!3
