    Nice going Linda!!! All ✅s 👏👏👏 Super high step count- now that’s dedication, that you went walking in the rain AND without an umbrella.

    @Tazaria87
    Way to smash those goals!! Great ideas, removing the takeout bread and replacing it with keto bread, and getting a kids size ice cream 👏👏 Mmmm, those bars sound delicious. Yes, it’s crazy how do many dried fruits have added sugar.

    @888Angie888
    Fantastic step counts! I’m pretty envious over here.

    @363days
    Love that determination! That hike sounds terrific Patti 🙌🙌

    @Bluetail6 - you look very fit! Keep up the great work!

    @mszoueb - I am right there with you! That is EXACTLY how I have been feeling lately.

    @jimboden3 - the new season of Handmaid’s Tale is out and I decided that I will only watch while rowing ... I am up to 20 minutes! I am not going super fast, just focusing on form for now.

    @Poobah1972 -great loss this week!

    @missysave0612 - puppies are lucky they are so cute. I’m starting to lose my patience with mine though. I am tired of being treated like a chew toy

    @lmf1012 - I often end up with a gain after a big hike but it’s usually short lived

    @TheresaM787 - thank you for the encouragement 😊

    @lindamtuck2018 - great steps! Sorry you had trouble sleeping last night. Hope you can get some sleep tonight. I’m jealous of the rain you are having.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 - that is so frustrating. That happened to me last time but the lab called the doctor’s office and they were able to get the order over the phone. I hope the pain is getting better

    Thank you everyone for the encouragement. I spoke to my coach and with everything going on, I am going to take a diet break until my endocrinologist appointment. I will be eating at maintenance and hope it helps to reset things to get to losing again. Since my goal is maintenance for 2 weeks, do I stay active or go to cheer?

    You can stay on the regular team and be excused for the weigh ins. We usually move someone to cheer if they are not going to be weighing in for the rest of the month.

    Today’s goals - modified because my incredible parents will be here until about noon.

    1. Peloton- get a ride in during the afternoon, while the kids are eLearning (hopefully, I don’t get side tracked)
    2. Evening walk- step goal 8,000
    3. Drink 8 cups of water
    4. Back to one light beer
    5. Try to stay as close to calorie budget as possible - so hard, my mom is an amazing cook, and nothing is low calorie or even a smidge healthy. Have the strength to not devour the leftovers.
    6. Go to bed early, didn’t get much sleep last night.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    5/3
    Update time:
    1. ✅ 35 minutes, 9 miles, moderate effort
    2. ❌ No energy and it’s way too hot and humid to walk. Total steps 3,600 steps.
    3.❌ Nope. Not even close. Only three cups of water.
    4. ✅ just one Bud Light.
    5. ✅ Stayed within my calorie budget.
    6. 🤔 Won’t know until tomorrow. Hoping to be asleep early.

    Alright guys, I got my pictures put together in a collage. Hopefully it turns out ok. So, the first one is me at my son's baptism 5 years ago. It's one of the only pictures I have of me at my highest weight. The next picture is of me last year when I started this current journey. The last two are me from today.

    Fantastic progress and great inspiration @Bluetail6 and @Tazaria87!
    MFP has released my story tonight on their blog page. Surprised me, to see it on my phone when I logged in tonight. Have been stressing over skin graft therapy this Thursday which has led to a 2 day binge. The grafts aren’t painful. It’s like putting a 1 cell layer deep Patch to layer a hole. They just mean that I will be off my feet for a significant period of time. Possibly, for the summer. But it will be what it will be. Must not stress over what I cannot control or clothing sizes or number on the scale. They are just numbers and no better or worse than the other numbers says the person who has freaked out over both. Went to therapy today and positive self talk, reframing and finding activities that can be done seated are the orders for the month.
    Wishing everyone success on their health and fitness journeys.

    Thank you!! Also, dancing to Carlos Santana helped with my step count, yesterday!! I really have to start looking at the spreadsheet that shows where people place...!! Also, thank you for the warm welcome to the Goal Zone😊.

    @363days
    I am humbled by your reaction to my photo. It feels wonderful to be in a normal weight range. I'm not at goal yet, but, close. I never had a problem with aches and pains. For that, I am grateful, as it was just a "matter of time." It will be interesting to see some friends this month. I may be speaking at a friends memorial service. If I do, I want to quote David Whyte's, "The Ultimate Touchstone of Friendship." Anyway, I have not seen anyone in our group since the Pandemic. It should be interesting.😊

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    5/3 Steps: 18,134😊... I have been rocking out to music for the last couple of nights which totally ups my steps.

    There are a few more of you I want to respond to. I need to get to bed, as have to get up fairly early. I will respond a little later in the afternoon. Lee😊

    Welcome @tomcat2019!!😊

    🎉🎉 You’re hilarious Roger! Congratulations on your 10,000 steps 👏👏. Thank you for posting about your predawn long walk. I need to start walking early (well early for me - around 7:00), it’s getting way too hot outside.
