I think we are all ready to go. All that is possible to cook and freeze is done, check lists are checked and re-checked. Tomorrow will be busy getting everything organized in the cooler so we can find things without opening the cooler much to keep all cold. Glenn will be getting dry ice and we have multiple pop bottles frozen to keep things cold. We also will be taking our picnic table with us to set up near the trailer then we need to clean the cabin of all the "presents" the critters leave from being there all winter. It will be cooler up there and so quiet compared to life here in Grand Junction. We had a good visit with our friend who can not come to church very often because she lives almost 2 hours away from the church. We took chips, meat, cheese, breads, watermelon, drinks and she made three salads so we had lots of food. We also had an ice cream cake to celebrate a birthday of another friend.

Barb - I am sorry that your Mom is not always kind to you. It is hard to be around a person like that and knowing that your sister is not treated the same as you. We know that God made you very unique and loves you unconditionally. He is very proud of you and what you have become in spite your mother's comments. We also care about you and are impressed with your love for your children and grandchildren. I agree with Harry's idea of seeing the scenery and have adventures along the way when he travels. If all a person thinks about is how quickly to get to the destination, they can miss so many things on the way.

Susan - I am glad that you were able to spend time with your D-I-L and Inara today. Did you take any pictures?

Judith - Today has been much better for the dog. I have not heard any fireworks going off so she is calm. Yesterday she was so scared I could not get her to take her anxiety medication. I had put the pills in bread which she loves but it took so long to try to get here to take it, the medicine started melting and she could taste it. Today she took her pill fine.

Have a great week. I will try to post as I can but may not be able to do everything since I will be posting on my phone.

Susan, so nice that your DIL and Granddaughter are with you visiting. I am sure you are enjoying Inara and your DIL. Take care, hope Colin is feeling better tonight. Does Archie and Jasper stay close to Colin when he is not feeling well? My Sunshine does when I am not myself and spending any extra time in bed she is right there. Look forward to hearing all about your visit today, maybe pictures if you take some. My prayers continue.

Barb, I am sorry that things are not as good as you would like with your relationship with your dear Mom. I have no doubt that you do everything you can to bring healing between you and your Mom. So nice you have sent a care package with Jean to give your Mom for her Birthday! I am sure she will appreciate it. I always found it hard to say goodbye after visiting my grandma who lived back East while I lived out West. Wow where has the time gone with Annabella turning 6 months old today. Hope you enjoy your Walk with Mariposa and getting new Library Books for her. Thank you for your prayers Barb.

Linda, hope your Sunday was blessed and you enjoyed your Sunday services. Sounds like you are all ready with your packing and meals prepared. Safe travels my friend! Thanks for your prayers and of course my prayers are with you.

Be back in the morning! Good Night and God Bless! 😴🛌🙏🤗

Linda. Sounds like you are all ready. Prayers. Your travels go smoothly. Can’t wait to hear about your travels. It’s still hot here but now upper 80’s so I guess better than 90’s. Our dew point is in the 70’s. That’s what is bad the humidity.

Judith. Hioe you & your dog had a good time. Hopefully the anxiety is over as fireworks should be over, or can you pop the,,Amy time? We can’t here. After Sunday since our hello day was over the weekend, Sunday was the last day.
Praying for you & seeing the doctor this week. Wisdom for doctors and from God. Also I His hands.

Susan. I hope you enjoyed your DIL and grand daughter. Family is good.

I know my mom loves me and my 3 younger sisters, but she has a strange way of showing g it. Sandi, is a missionary #3 daughter, isa missionary, so she idolizes her. Yet we are all missionaries where we are. Jean our daughter made it there safely to PA, so my mom will enjoy her bday with them and the 3 great grandsons.
Please pray Harry 3 insurance gives him another week. They are talking about him going home this weekend & come back Sunday night, so the therapies can work on what he needs help with. What a great idea. Then he will go home on Friday 7/18. 7/20 is Mariposa’s bday.
oh he makes suspense I think for the place tacos. He maybe going food shopping to get the food needed.

Thank you again for the prayers.

Yesterday's visit with Shaun, Yolanda and Inara was indeed fun. Shaun is going a helicopter pilot's course so he was at school for several hours. We girls helped Colin get the caravan ready for towing to the repairer's then saw him off. We girls then went Op Shopping for baby doll clothes for Inara's tribe. She found a book she liked too, and Yolanda found some vintage crockery and tiny brass velvet lined bowls for decoration, all for $27. I was content just to wander and enjoy their delight. When we got home Colin had picked Shaun up from class so we all had lunch together. They left then and I finished getting ready for a card class I am running today. It was a good day!

No Pictures of yesterday but this is who I was with:

Cards we will make today in various colours:

They will make one of these, too:

Barb, I am sorry also for the difficulties with your Mom. I'm glad you know she loves you. We did hear back from NDIS yesterday. They said our appeal was refused. We'll have to figure out our next steps and are working on that. Meanwhile the caravan is bring repaired, thankfully. Church was wonderful this week. We had communion too.

Linda, your trip sounds like it will be amazing! It's so good that the hard work with food is already done. I hope you get a chance to enjoy a bit of a break during the trip though knowing you, you will still be serving others.

Judith, I know it's only Monday there but you have medical appointments coming up this week, right? I hope they go well. Thinking of you and praying for you .

We made it to the cabin safely. The cabin was clean and ready for us to move in. Our nephew was here over the weekend and they cleaned it so it was wonderful for just have a rest. We thought that our son was going to bring our grandson up half way and our daughter was meeting them tomorrow but as we are watching our 360 app that shows where everyone in our family is, it looks like our son is coming up tonight. None of our other kids will tell us why the plans changed. They just smile and say it is a secret. Now we are intrigued. I will catch you up tomorrow.

Susan, love the picture of the family, so nice you had time with them, glad the Caravan is off to be fixed. Love all your cards, the colors and designs are so nice. The class with enjoy making their cards. I am so sorry 😞 NDIS denied the appeal. I sit here shaking my head. Just don’t understand their reasoning, it’s so unfair. Especially when you consider it was them that lost all of Colin’s records! I am praying the the Lord will grant you wisdom to know what the next step is. I am believing God has a better plan and will make a way for Colin to get the treatment he needs! Love you my friend as we all do here! To answer your question, yes appointment with the surgeon tomorrow afternoon. Will keep you posted on what’s said.

Barb. I will pray Harry3’s insurance will grant another extension. Sounds great that Harry3 can go home for weekend and then back to rehab, it’s good they are helping him to transition from rehab to home. The plus is he can be home for Mariposa’s birthday! I am rejoicing the things are coming together and Harry3 is getting all the rehab he needs. He has come so far. I am happy the family arrived and will spend your Mom’s Birthday together. Wonderful she will be with the great-grandsons. So special. It’s wonderful that so many Missionaries in your family! You all Shine for Jesus!

Linda it will be exciting to hear all about what the surprise will be and why your son is arriving earlier than expected.

Will be back tomorrow and fill you in with what the Surgeon says tomorrow, yes mixing things up as it’s Tuesday instead of Thursday!

Good Night All, God Bless you! 😴🙏🤗

We had originally thought our son was driving half way today and our daughter was meeting him to bring our grandson to the cabin. Last night our son showed up at the cabin and spent the night and all morning with us. He had not been to the cabin for 13 years and so many things have changed. It was so fun to have him here and to take him all over reliving memories. The weather was beautiful and we got lots of exercise walking over the property. It was at least 20 degrees cooler than at Grand Junction.

Linda, what a cool relief it must be to be in the mountains in a clean cabin. I'm glad your family are going to spend time with you there too. ❤️ Enjoy every moment.

Judith, yes, we do not understand NDIS's decisions either. So much of this process has been confusing, contradictory and out of order. We feel like giving up which is what they want us to feel, I am sure. We'll battle on but still. Oh I do hope your appointments go well this time. You need a break. Hugs!

Barb, that is great news about Harry3 getting to be home for weekends. Everyone will have time to adjust to how things need to work. Mariposa must be so excited to have her Daddy home. Enjoy your other family time, too. I am sure you also feel great relief about Harry3s situation.

We are going to pick up the caravan from the repairer's today. They were able to get the work done quickly. It's great! Yesterday's class was good. Here are the cards we made. Mine are on the left:

Linda that was so nice having your Son come first and spent the night and morning with you there at the cabin. So nice the cabin was so clean and gave you a Warm welcome back. I am sure after 13 years away you would of seen the changes that had been done. I am so happy you enjoyed walking through the cabin reliving the memories with your Son in the Cabin and walking all over the property. So special for you and your Son. And it was an extra bonus with the weather being so nice. I’m so thrilled for you! 😊

Susan, yes as I said last night it seems so unfair, I really don’t understand NDIS in how they came to that decision to deny the appeal, no sense at all. And I stand with you my friend as you Stand Strong and Fight On! Great news that you are able to pick up the caravan today, they got the work done quickly. That’s great! So happy yesterdays Card Class went well. The Cards are Beautiful, the class did a wonderful job in designing and making the cards. You are a great Instructor! 😊

Barb, I replied last night to your post so will let you read that post. And yes so happy Mariposa has her Daddy home for her Birthday 🥳 Last night I asked you to wish all the “Birgday “Boys” and “Girls” a Happy Birthday 🥳 Hope they enjoy their Birthday Cake 🎂!

I had my appointment earlier this morning. A lot to take in. I am processing the info and will post my results on our Prayer Thread soon. Appreciate all your prayers and asking after me. Love and Hugs. Good Night All! 😴🤗

Hi all sorry I didn’t get a chance to reply on chat yesterday. Busy day.
it seems that 3 going home for a trial run this weekend has been approved. So that is good then he will go home for, good just before Mariposa’s bday i think.
He will still need rehab and may get 69 days free on the computer. today in OT he was cutting a tomatoes for lunch. He didn’t make supper as planned as the nurse who, was going to, him shopping quit. She just started just recently. Sad. So 3 didn’t go, food shopping or make tacos like he planned.
Sounds like my mom is having fun,I know one of my cousins took them all out yesterday to Golden Corral, his favorite for lunch. That’s an So, they with full stomach’s. It’s an all you can eat.

Susan. So sorry that the. NDIS did not get approved. Prayers for wisdom. Goals yiur caravan is getting fixed. Love your cards & family picture. So glad you had that time with them.

Linda. So gad you made it to the cabin safely enjoy your time there. I think you get back and we leave. I’ll have. To start packing soon. Though I did get pills, vitamins packed, and AAA book with card to get in any national parks Free. I also, packed the wristband that help me not get nauseated with traveling in mountains.

What a beautiful picture, Barb. Your Mom and grandchildren look so happy! Glad to hear Harry3 will go home for a weekend. I hope it all works out well. It's a shame he didn't get to shop for tacos and make them but good that he seems ready for doing that. I hope your holiday plans are coming together nicely for you.

Judith, I know it is always mentally and physically exhausting for you after your specialist appointments. I know you will share when you can. Yes, we did get the van back yesterday and they seem to have done a good job.

The NDIS is making life difficult for so many people. I think the government wants it shut down.

Linda, thinking of you and hoping you keep having a lovely time.

I have another card class to run today.

Barb, Such a Precious picture of Your dear Mom with Evan Blake and Cody. They all look so happy. So nice the Cousin took them all out for All you can Eat dinner, I am sure it was a wonderful time for everyone. Will pray for the family as they head home on Thursday for safe travels. Sorry Harry3 didn’t get to go shopping for Tacos and make lunch like he was planning. Hope his weekend home visit goes well. Glad he will still get rehab even thought he is back home.

Susan, that is too bad the Government is wanting to shut down NDIS, I wonder why they are wanting to do that? I feel sad for everyone that NDIS is making life difficult for everyone. So unfair. Hope you card class goes well today! You are having a lot of classes lately. I know you enjoy preparing for them and helping the group with making their cards. Look forward to seeing more pictures!

I am very tired tonight and my face and mouth are extremely sore. Will bring updates on the weekend when things are quieter!

    Good Night God Bless 😴🛌🙏

Hope your card class went well

Judith. So sorry for your pain. I pray you slept well , as I’m 2 hours ahead of you. Plus praying your Thursday is not painful for you.

Linda. Enjoy your Thursday. Trust all going well for you.

I got the Joy group at church so I’ll be be decorating for it. We have a new couple leading it & they have a theme each month. This month is patriotic. So I will decorate in the red white & blue. I put mine away & have sunflowers out. Sunflower is Kansas state flower. I grow some & one of mine is starting to bloom. Have a good day all.

'Morning. I am taking it easy this morning after having a busy week.

Barb, enjoy decorating for the Joy group. Will you take a picture for us? Yesterday's card class went well snd I have some pictures for you. Sunflowers are beautiful. I just bought a gorgeous sunflower embossing folder and have been making pretty cards with it already.

Judith, thinking of you as I know it is your medical appointment day. I'm sorry you are so sore and tired. Glad you rest when you are like that. Yes, this month's classes have wound up being close together. I teach four classes a month so that's why it must seem like I am doing a lot. I just don't always mention them but they happen every month unless we're travelling.

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is an expensive program for the government to run. They started it 5 years ago and can't seem to keep up with everyone's needs. Colin could keep fighting for care under them but has decided to try moving to My Aged Care (MAC) instead. He got a phone assessment with them yesterday and will have an in person assessment in a couple of weeks. He'll decide then if he wants to move from NDIS to MAC. I'll let you know as if he can get help with them. They could help us with house cleaning and physio for Colin, but probably not to the extent NDIS was helping.

    Here are yesterday's card photos:

    Good Afternoon Everyone,

I came on to let you know my appointment was moved to next Thursday, July 17th. That’s ok as with my face and mouth being so tender it gives me a day for rest and relaxation. Which I am grateful for. I posted on all the threads and will now go and share my update from Tuesday’s appointment with the Neurosurgeon at VGH. I will come back this evening and reply to all the Posts here on Chat Cafe!

Have a Jesus Filled Day! See you all this evening. ❤️🙏🤗

Susan. Love your cards. You are so talented.

Prayers that the MAC works for you praying so.

Sorry I didn’t get a picture but I might still have 5he lady before me hers which I copied. Our church has lots off decorations I use, so,it’s easy. The speaker on civil war was very good. He had Kansas flag, and West Virginia flag when they became a state it was interesting.

Judith praying for you. I’ll be in Colorado, on the 17 but I will be praying for you.. could you eat anything today? Prayers. You don’t apwant to lose any more weight. God knows.

Today Harry 3 saw a ENT Dr. he had another camera go down his nose. His cyst has gotten smaller. His tumor was pressing on his brain stem. It was where the balance and vocal cords are controlled. So his right vocal cord is paralyzed, & his cyst is smaller. We hope and pray in time his vocal cord will vibrate normally. So that is why his voice is softer.
Linda. I hooe you are enjoying yourself. Not sure how much I will be posting next week. Time will tell.

I will be praying for all don’t leave till 7/14-7/20 or 7/21.

Susan, so happy you took today as a rest day. Hope you can get rested up. Love all your cards. So cool! Thanks for explaining how many classes you hold each month and now I know you hold 4 classes a month. Yes it did seem it was more but now I understand that they were close together. It does make sense now. So sorry NDIS is making things so difficult. Thank for letting me know that Colin had a phone assessment and will go in for an in person meeting. Hope that will help if he wants to go with MAC! Praying for God’s Will be done! Main thing is Colin gets the Physio he needs.

Barb, your centrepiece you made for your table looks so nice. Thanks for letting me know you will be in Colorado when I have my Surgeon appointment on the 17th. Please don’t worry how much you can be on here while you are away. Enjoy your time away. It’s good his ENT Doctor is keeping track with putting the scope down and having a look at the cyst, good news that it has got smaller, and thanks for explaining that the Tumour was putting pressure on the Brain Stem and paralyzed the vocal cord, that explains why his voice is softer now. I am trusting in time his voice will get stronger especially now the tumor has been removed. Good news today from Harry3’s ENT Specialist.

It’s bedtime for me. Good Night All! Be back tomorrow! Praying for you all. 🙏♥️🤗

Enjoy your rest, Judith. I'm actually glad you got a break from your appointments this week, too. It can be gruelling travelling back and forth so often as well as enduring all the pain of treatments. Like Linda I am glad you have a surgeon advocating for you in the system. We"re advocating for you in prayer.

Barb, the table decorations do look nice. Thank you for sharing a picture of one. That's good news about 3's tumour shrinking. He sure has had a lot to deal with and I pray the tumour will continue to shrink. Safe travels for when you do get away. We'll understand if ypu can't get on here as much while you are away.

Linda, I hope your mountain stay is relaxing and fun for you as well as cool. It's nice to think.of you in that setting, away from the heat and noise.of the everyday.

I'll get a few chores done today. I think Colin is getting a cold so will try to help him feel OK about resting.

Linda I hope you are enjoying yourself and your weather is nice

Judith. So glad you have a break from drs and all your body needs the rest, and prayers for healing. Susan is right with the traveling and all with you need to rest, so please rest up. It does sound like your surgeon is really pulling for you. Waiting over 2 months for a Ct scan is crazy. Prayers you can get one soon maybe he will help so you get it soon. The 17 will be Harry 3, 3 month date so I may remember.

So 3 did not go home, his insurance does not want him to, sleep at home. I can see that so,he will spend time after breakfast on Saturday and there, but sleeps at the. Euro.
We were to get rain but only a few drops again so each time we are to get rain the rain dissolves and we just get a few drops, or nothing.
Jean and family are home safely thank you for your prayers.

Have a good weekend all prayers for all too.

We made it home safely and I have completed 5 loads of laundry. I have been getting up early every day so I will be ready to go to bed soon. I have not had time to catch up on all the threads so I will read them then respond tomorrow. Things did not go as smoothly as I would have wished but we did manage to be flexible. Our daughter's dog is very nervous especially since she was attacked by our older dog when she was small. She is very easily scared and tries to protect herself from what she see is possible harm. She saw our grandson as a threat and we had to keep them apart. No matter how much we assured my grandson that she would not harm him, she is just loud, he did not want to be in the same space with her which is understandable if he has not been around her much. We either kept him inside and her outside or the opposite. We got pretty good at distracting her as he moved so she would not see him. I told you about our fishing trip so the next day we went out on a pontoon boat for 5 hours. The dog stayed home so it was a quiet day. Again we did not catch any fish but the kids loved to get out in the water and swim. The water was pretty cold but they did not seem to notice once they were out in it. The boat had a sunscreen over the top of us so we did not get bad sunburns and the splash of the water keep us all cool. When we got back into cell phone range we heard from our sister-in-law who owns the cabin we were in that when we had a thunder and lightening storm during the night, that lightning had started fires in the Black Canyon that was very near to us. We saw a lot of smoke and smelled the fire but we were not close enough to see it although our truck had a lot of ashes on it. By this morning over 1600 acres were burning and it was not at all contained. There was less smoke when we left this morning so I assume that things were getting better. All the time were were in the mountain, the highest the temperature got was 85F (29.4C) and this morning when we got up it was 41F (5C). When we got to Grand Junction, it was 102F (38.8C) so you can see why we like to go to the mountains when it is hot.

I will download some pictures from my phone and send you some scenery pictures. It is good to be home but the how weather is a shock to our bodies that have had cooler temps.

    Evening Hello Everyone,

TodayI had a leaky tap incident that caused the tap to burst, water under kitchen counter and over the counter, the plumber is coming to install a new sink and taps, the Condo management came in and put a temporary tap in to carry me over the weekend. Good news, no charge to me as the management who came in after I came home from my place being renovated apparently installed wrong sink and faucet for style of my sink space, so it’s being done over but properly this time.

Susan thanks for your kindness and prayers, yes, it’s been good with one appointment and didn’t have to have surgical procedure on my face and Lips. Sorry Colin is coming down with a cold, hope he feels better soon. And hope you get your chores done and everything else done. Have a blessed Weekend ahead. Love and Prayers.

Barb, thank you for your kindness and your prayers! And thanks for reminding me about Harry3’s Birthday 🥳 on the 17th I attend Surgeon appointment. I will pray for him before I leave the house and then will try and post a Birthday message on the Group update page. As I said last night so happy the scan showed the cyst is shrinking, Praise God! Good to hear the insurance is watching out for Harry3 as they don’t want him sleeping overnight, he can be at the house during the day but be back at night at rehab to sleep. Think for now this is a wise decision. My prayers continue!

Linda. Welcome back, it’s good you made it safely over the mountain. I can understand how you enjoy the trips to mountain with temps cooler when it’s so hot in Grand Junction! Sounds like you had a lovely time at the cabin. With going out on the boat and the grandkids swimming. Thanks for sharing about why the Dog is so scared and how noises and how the Dog is scared of your grandson and the dog too. It sounds like you were able to manage it all well. I am sure you are so happy to be home but being home is a lot of catch up. 5 loads of laundry is a lot. Hope you get a good rest tonight. I look forward to the pictures you will share tomorrow. Thanks for your kindness and your prayers.

I so appreciate you all. You are a blessing in which I thank God!

Good Night and God Bless! Happy Weekend All! ♥️🙏🤗

Wow, there are lots of updates today! It's good to hear from each of you.

Judith I'm glad the fsulty faucet and sink will be sorted out by the landlord. That was the last thing you needed, a kitchen flood! I hope nothing of yours was damaged by all the water. Now let's hope the repairs can be made quickly and easily. Yes, Colin is worse today so I will go to church alone. He's wrapped up in extra blankets bed as I type. It's cold for us here and apparently he was cold overnight and got chilled as he didn't want to get up to find a warmer blanket. I didn't know he was cold or would have gotten him one. So far I am well.

Linda, welcome home. I hope the extra laundry and cleaning is all done now. Is your daughter's dog at home now or still with you? I can ser how it's reaction to your grandson would shatter the peace! Ugh about the heat.

Barb, I can imagine everyone's is sad that Harry3 can't go home yet, but it's good that the insurance Co is actually caring about him. Oh, one of my SIL has a birthday in the 17th too so we shall both remember Judith's appointment by a family birthday!

We got the sheepskin underlay for the van dry cleaned yesterday and it smells fresh again. Even though the water leak wasn't dirty water, it still made the sheepskin smell bad, so we're glad the dry cleaner could fix it. Now we are ready to go away again when the time is right.

I had best get ready for church now. God's blessing on you all.

Linda. So 5 loads of wash wow! Good feeling when done. Sorry about the fire. Is it contained yet? I know when our son lived in Wyoming Laramie, medicine bow or Coloradan could have wild fires usually from lightning. I look forward to, the pictures too. In your time.

Laundry is done, folded and put back in the tubs until we need it again. Sometimes our daughter who home schools, wants to go back up for a second time during the Summer. If we do, it will be just her and the two grandkids. There will be no dog to deal with that time. Today is my oldest daughter's birthday. It does not seem possible that she is 48 years old. She was a preemie baby at 5# 1 oz but was a fighter and is doing well. I also made yogurt and tried a new recipe tonight for dinner. I was not impressed but I did change some things in the recipe so it might be my fault. I doubled the vegetables and left out the mayo to keep the calories lower. It was called Turkey Strata.

Susan - Thanks for sharing more cards with us. It is amazing how different the cards look from your example. The different coloring and word placement by the others makes them all unique. I am sorry that the NDIS is not cooperating but the MAC sounds like it might be good. It will give you some help also. I am glad the caravan is fixed and smells nice. We discovered a leak in our sink in the trailer on Friday and will need to look to see how to fix it. It is a slow leak and when we do not have the spring water attached to the trailer, it does not leak. I wonder if it is the pressure that causes the slow drip. We left a pan in the sink to catch anything that may drip until we can get it fixed. I am sorry that Colin has a cold. I hope he is able to rest and fell better soon. Our daughter's dog lives in the Westminster house so we do not have to deal with her here. She is full of energy and we have to be careful when she is here because her nails can scratch our hardwood floors.

Judith I am glad that you have a break this week from going to the surgeon. Having so much tenderness around your mouth must be hard to eat. I am praying that this break gives your some relief and healing. I am glad that the sink problem will be fixed correcting this time. I wish we had skilled people at our trailer to fix our leak but we are on our own. Glenn is not much of a fixer of anything but he is skilled in teaching and searching the scriptures which is a good thing. We all have our talents.

Barb - I am glad that 3 can be at his home during the day. I can understand that the facility does not want to have him gone overnight. They still need to monitor him if he tries to get up during the night to avoid falls. If he fell at home, Hong Hong would have problems getting him up I imagine. I am glad that your mother was able to go out to eat at Golden Corral. We had one here in Grand Junction but it closed last Summer. I have not had good experiences at the one that is in Denver. I found a piece of the wooden cutting board in my salad one time I was there. I hope you have a good time traveling next week. If the wrist band to prevent nausea one that does acupressure on your wrist? I have heard about them but never tried them. It is great news that 3's cyst is smaller. I pray that the right vocal cord can heal. I have not heard any update on the wildfire near our cabin today. The last update I heard was that it still was not contained.

    Pleasant dreams everyone!

Here are some pretty flowers outside out trailer.

I could not do all the pictures all at once. Here is a picture of the scenery when we went fishing on Wednesday.

    IMG_20250709_140246889_AE.jpg IMG_20250710_205332509_AE (1).jpg

This picture is what the sky looked like with the smoke from the wildfire. The sun was almost a florescent orange a few minutes before I took this picture. The smell was like a campfire was right next to us and we could not see across the road due to the smoke. It was actually very beautiful but the camera did not show it very well. The area is part of a National Park so there are not many houses. They did lose one small outbuilding I heard and everyone was evacuated quickly so there were no injuries.

    Evening hello everyone.

Tonight is a very quick post , my face mouth and lips are quite sore.

The temporary Faucet is holding its own, no leaks, thank you Lord.

Susan, so sorry Colin got a chill last night and is not feeling well today. Hope he gets better soon. Sorry it means that you are attending your Church services by yourself. Glad you got the sheepskin cleaned and it came back smelling fresh. I have a sheepskin on my bed and it really helps my spine!

Barb, love the pictures of Harry3 at home with his girls, love his smile. I see he is happy being home. Wow, July 17th is the 3 month mark of when Harry3 has his surgery. It seems such a long time ago but looking at you son today I can see such improvement and healing. My prayers continue.

Linda, love your photo’s, so beautiful. The scenery is beautiful! The flowers outside your trailer are lovely.

Sorry all I need to head to bed! Good Night! 🙏🤗😴

Feel better, Judith. I am sorry you have such pain this week. Glad the faucet isn't leaking, at least. You will be in your Sunday now. I hope you could rest snd listen to online services. Our services were do encouraging yesterday. Pastor is teaching through Ephesians and we were in chapter 4. It's amazing. I made Colin some soup yesterday with lots of orange vegetables for the Vit A - pumpkin. Sweet potato, a potato a some green peas. I added fresh Tu.eric and some powdered tumeric, cummin and coriander, pepper and chicken stock. He enjoyed it but he is sicker today. He is trying to get a GP appointment so he can get some antibiotics. The cold has gotten into his lungs now. Not good as he gets pneumonia easily. He just told me his GP is away but a Nurse Practitioner will c as ll him at 11am. She can give him a script by phone and I will just go down and pick up his meds for him.

Linda, I loved your pictures. What a glorious place to retreat to. It's a lot of work going and then returning but it is so worth it! I hope you can find someone to fix the leaky sink soon. I'm so glad the fire has been contained. Glad the dog is safely home too and all the washing is done. Yes, everyone has their strengths. Can is so handy but he cannot search the scriptures snd teach them like Glen can.

Barb, wow! Three months has almost gone by since Harry3's surgery! I can see how it could feel much longer given all that he has endured. The pictures of him at home are wonderful. I hope Hong Hong can get some home help when he is able to come home permanently.

Busy day for me today with music practices, helping Colin and getting ready for card class tomorrow.

    Afternoon Hello Everyone,

This afternoon I am feeling much better, thanks for everyone’s Prayers.

I am here earlier than usual and Susan is the only one here right now but can comment to her post. Will try and come back later tonight to read both Linda and Barb’s post.

Susan, thank you for your kindness and for your prayers and asking after me. So sorry Colin is not good today but glad he is getting some antibiotics. Will pray he gets better quickly. Goday our Live Stream Service was wonderful and the Praise and Worship service was powerful and such a blessing to be a part of. We focused on Luke 10:1-11 and verses 16 to 20 in the sermon Pastor brought to us. You said it was a busy day for you with Music practices and looking after Colin and getting ready for a Card Class tomorrow.

Have a great evening all. Will try and come back later this evening but if not will see you all tomorrow. Love and Prayers, Hugs ♥️🙏
