The blood donation went well except that when she put the needle in, I spurted blood on my blouse. I don't think that has ever happened before. My Blood Pressure was a bit low so I don't know what happened that I has so much pressure unless she left the cuff on too long and the pressure built up. I came home right away and washed the blouse and it came out fine. We went to exercise in the afternoon but I only did the recumbent bicycle and used only my arm that was not bandaged up. After that we went grocery shopping to have supplies for our trip to the cabin and then came home and I did laundry and put it away. I am not as tired today as I was the last time so that is good. Glenn is going to bed early tonight because he has to do a class with some church leaders in the Philippines. The best time for them is 6am our time so I hope he is awake enough to do it. He actually is an early riser so he should be fine.

Susan - The wild fires are still burning near the trailer but are not causing us any danger. The fire is 41% contained but the news said that they do not expect it to be 100% contained for a long time. Some of the fires are along really rugged terrain and it is dangerous for the firefighters to get to it. It is on the edge of a canyon so it will not spread any further toward our trailer.

Judith - you were very young when married and then became widowed. You said that you were a grandma in your late 30's I was still having babies in my 30's. I am sorry for the miscarriages in your family. I have a child I miscarried and have two grandchildren that were miscarriages waiting for me in heaven.

Barb - We are not expecting any cooler weather this week. It did not get above 99F today, it should be the same tomorrow with slightly cooler temps the rest of the week. By slightly I mean mid 90's. I wonder if HH is getting nervous about her mom leaving and is feeling overwhelmed. I hope she will accept your help after Amy goes home. Getting outpatient PT/OT will help also which is close to the time she leaves.

Have a good night and a great week!

Thank you all for your Kind comments and the Support you have given. I am thankful for my Church Family, Friends and Family Members who all rallied around me and the children who helped in so many ways over the years and even to this day!

Linda, sorry about the blood that got on your blouse when you gave blood but glad it came out when you washed it. You said your BP was low, hope it’s alright now. Good plan you were careful with your exercise. I am glad to hear your trailer is safe from the wild fires. Sorry there are so many. We have wild fires here but with our crazy weather a lot of cooler temps we are not getting all the smoke here like we did last year. Hope we don’t get them severe this year. However heading into August we can get the higher temps and that’s when the wild fires start spreading.

Barb yes we slept in sleeping bags also! Sure miss the days of camping and eating off an open fire. Loved roasting marshmallows on open fire. Kids loved it too. We did a lot of fishing and washed and swam in the Lake, and yes it was cod water. I admit it doesn’t appeal to me now! My prayers are wth Harry3 and HH and girls. I am hoping things improve for Harry3 and they both can sleep better. It will be good when he gets his out patient PT which I am sure will help. It’s good You have your husband’s Sister helping with OT and you help too, good he uses the walker and gets his steps in. When Amy goes back home I hope HH will except your help more often.

Susan, I am thankful I had the Church family to help me as I came to the Lord early on so with the Church, my Friends and Family Members it sure made all the difference. And yes there were heaps of struggles and times I felt sorry for myself and felt lonely but every time the Lord brought me thru. The Church has been good to me back East and here out West. Indeed God is Good. It’s Tuesday now for you Susan, have a blessed day!

Good Night all! Be back in the Morning! 🙏🤗

Good Wednesday morning. Yesterday was a lovely relaxing day but today will be quite busy.

All the reminiscences about camping brought back memories for me, too. Our family holidays were always camping holidays. I slept in sleeping bags and bathed in rivers too. And it was so wonderful, but too hard to think about now. Going away in the caravan can be hard enough and we are beginning to think our time in the van might be over as well.

Linda, that was a concern about the bleeding. I hope your bp is back to normal today too. I'm so sorry about the padt miscarriages. I had my daughter in my 30s as well. Jufith has beat us all in young grandmotherhood! Thank you for telling us about the wild fires. I'm glad your trailer is OK but know you have to expect the unexpected with wild fires. I'll be glad with you when you hear they are put out. May Glenn's teaching ho well.

Judith, I did love reading about the camping your family did. We probably would have had so much fun if we'd been able to go camping together! I used to ho spell King in caves also, and loved to climb mountains and walk in the bush. We used to ho rock hunting too. Cooking on an open fire was the best. Food always tasted so much better with the smokiness.

Barb, like you I hope the H's find a routine that works for them all very soon. It sure would be good for Harry3 to have more rehab work. They need to help solve solve more problems. I do hope the pillow helps. Your camping days sound like they were fun too.

Lots to do today - cleaning, washing, dog groo.ing, two or three music and drama rehearsals. I cooked enough last night for dinner tonight so we'll eat on time. Have good days, everyone

Judith so glad you had your church family, friends and family that helped you back then. I smiled at the sleeping bags. Many memories we have. Yes Amy gpes back a few days after out patient strts.

Linda. Sorry about the blood. Guess you need to, use some Hydrogen peroxide time. Hooe you got the blood stain out. Hope Glenn gets the rest he needs for the Philippine class.
So glad that the fires are not causing any problems it’s interesting I’ve not heard anything about them on the news. Prayers.

Susan. Hioe you had a nice Tuesday and now it is Wednesday. Prayers for you and Colin. Trust yiur card class I think you had or will have one soon.

Well, 3 got his own wheelchair today. He left his phone in the seat so the guy had to come back. Well, that upset HH as she asked 3 if he had it. Didn’t think she needed to check. He thought he did. It’s reminding me of what Laura story had with her husband Martin and his brain tumor surgery. I am prayong 3 get all restored martins tumor was cancer. I put a hold on the book by Laura Story, to read it again taking notes on his recovery, and problems he has to, this day.
I told HH I’d be there and was ok to yell,at God, bite yiur tongue if need yo. She needs a break and has not wanted to. She has lots of people, who come over to help and she pumps and doesn’t really nurse Annabella, which I feel the bond is not there between mother & daughter. I feel bad for Annabella with that. Oh well

Brain surgery needs to be encouraged so don’t say he’s regressing. Have him practice standing & the other exercises lying on the rug.
All in Gods time. It’s hard thank you so much for the prayers. Yes, when Amy goes back it will be hard., but at least 3 will have outpatient therapy 3 times a week for 5 hours. So he will be tired. I’m hoping he won’t regress anymore than he has too. Plus get his strength and really do well, like he has in the other rehabs.

We had a small group at our Women's Bible study group today. One member was in the hospital with sepsis from a UTI, another one could not stay the whole time because she had to take her car to the dealership to get an estimate to repair her car that was in an accident yesterday and a third person was so sick at home she could not get on zoom. She has multiple health issues with asthma worsening with the smoke, some mental health issues and chronic pain. She is our youngest member but the most ill. Our afternoon Bible study was a small group too because several couples were on vacation. It was nice that we had more time to discuss the scriptures with a smaller group although we really do miss those who were gone.

Judith - My blood pressure was OK - it was low because I take a beta blocker to slow my heart rate and it drops my blood pressure as a side effect if I take it right before I donate. We did a lot of camping when we were first married. We had a little tent that was so small we barely fit in it with our two sleeping bags. We had a lot of fun although there were some scary times when storms would come and the wind would almost blow our little triangle shaped tent over. Once the kids came, we were busy with school, work, homeschooling, etc and we did not take the time to do much of it. We did get a bigger tent and did put it up in the back yard sometimes and pretend we were camping with easy access to a bathroom in the house. I like sleeping on a bed now so the trailer is just fine. We often hear coyotes calling near by when we sleep. We have seen bear and mountain lion evidence during the day but we have not seen them close to the trailer. Some type of animal has been chewing on our plastic pipes that bring the water down to the trailer and to the cattle drinking tank. All we see is bite marks that looks like a big mouth. We have a tall metal fence around the trailer so we are safe as long as we can see what is moving around us.

Barb - I am glad that 3 has a wheelchair now. Does he use it to go to the restroom during the night? That would seem safer to me to do and HH might feel better about his balance. At least he can be more mobile. Therapies should be able to help with that. I know they were really good working with me after my hip replacement to get my gait correct and my balance better.

Susan - I am sad to hear that your traveling with the caravan may be over. I know that you want to keep Colin safe and as free from pain as you can and if that is what needs to happen, then it is good. I think you said that he was the one who wanted to travel more than you did. Glenn's class went well although he did say he was tired by noon and did take a nap to get some energy. He does not have to do these early morning classes too often.

Marilyn - we have not heard from you in a long time. I hope things are going well with dialysis and Norm and Priscilla are well.

I have had 2 Days of my lower face steadily growing worse with the diseased Skin and Tissue forming. My friend came today to visit and brought me 2 Gorgeous Floral Bouquets, it both Blessed and Cheered me in the Lord. We had a good Prayer time also.

I apologize but I am not up to being on here for any length of time. Will catch up with you tomorrow.

Here is a picture of my Bouquets.

Judith, I am so sorry about your face and you not feeling well. 💔 I hope some rest will help but it sounds like you will have to have more painful treatments. I pray for you and hope that something will start working against this cancer soon. The flowers are beautiful and I'm glad you had a visit from a good friend. Hugs.

Linda, eek about the big animal chewing on your pipes. I didn't realise you had a metal fence around the trailer and am glad of that. Yes, it is sad to think we may be almost at the time where we sell the van, but maybe we'll take a few more little trips first. You are right that Colin is the one who likes travelling more. I am happy to stay home. I do enjoy it when we go somewhere but am happy when we arrive back home too. I feel safer with Colin near help in case he needs it.

Barb, it is sure challenging for the H's right now. Do you think Harry3 needs more brain surgery? I wasn't sure from your post. I do hope and pray that things become easier over time. It sounds like they have a long haul ahead. I would be concerned about HH and Annabella too, not bonding. More hugs.

Judoth. So sorry about all that you must suffer and the pain. It’s got to make it hard to eat and all. We all are praying that God would give the drs wisdom in treating you & your healing.

Anynword on the ointment now probably 3 months ago ordered. Praying.

Susan. 8/26 3 surgeon hpwill see 3 and do a MRI. This will show if he has any tumor left. The surgeon is very sure he got it all we all hope so as we do NOT want to go through this again. 3 texted earlier to pray for HH not sure why hoped they hand a good day and both said they slept well 3 coughs and chokes so they have a wedge for sleeping & HH puts a bit of thickener I his water to, help too. He’s not having speech so pray next Wednesday therapies continue so gladly for that.

Linda you sure are put on the wild. So glad for the metal fence. I don’t think I want to see. Ountain lion. I’ve heard of coyotes in my ounty but I’ve not seen any. Only deer. Please stay safe.
Glad you had a good Bible study That is ashame about the lady with asthma , and the smoke does not help asthmatics. I’m sure she my be using her nebulizer or perhaps needs to get one. 🙏🏻

Harry 3 had a wheelchair it was a loaner now he has his own.

Please keep prayong as healing is slow and it’s easy to get discouraged. Jean will come tomorrow I with 2 boys as Blake is I. VBS at their church. She will give 3 a hair cut. You know hat should perk everyone up. I hope to walk with Evan and Mariposa. So a busy morning.

please pray for HH not sure what all about just know 3 texted us. I’m sure he feels bad about it. & he doesn’t need to be discouraged. Thank you.

    Good evening Hello All,

I am on early, I worked on all the August Thread Announcements 📣 and Posted our Team Challenges (Goals) for August. With Thursday’s Treatment and appointments I knew I would not be up to working on those Threads on Thursday night. It feels good accomplishing the Threads!

Thank you for all your Kind Comments, Love and your Support!

Susan, yes I am with you that something will start working with all the cancer complications. Trusting the Scans and Tests I am having will show my Specialists what the next plan should be in my Treatment. I really hope you don’t need to sell the Camper Van, I know how much Coin loves the travel. Hoping the appeals you have begun will bring positive results and Colin receiving treatment he needs that will bring improvement and healing and recovery to him. It would be nice to do even smaller trips. My prayers are with you both Susan. Please tell Colin I continue to hold him up in prayer; and of course I pray for you as well.

Barb, I continue to keep Harry3 and HH in much prayer. I am sorry healing is slow, it’s hard when it’s not coming quicker. Glad Jean is coming tomorrow and will give Harry3 a hair cut. I am sure that will lift his spirits up. It’s good HH puts Thickener in the Water which will help with Harry3’s swallowing. Hope it helps slow the Coughing and choking down for Harry3. You asked about the ointment my Oncologist wanted me to use with my other med; to date it’s not being covered, now work from our Pharmacare. It is discouraging that they are not approving it. Leave it in God’s Hands! Nice that Blake is at VBS, I worked with the ministry for a few years and loved the program. Our Church did it every summer, unfortunately it has stopped as several workers who helped have moved away!

Linda, I am glad you have a fence around your trailer. Pretty scary with the animal chewing on your pipes. Please stay safe. Happy you had a good Bible Study. Sorry if I asked you before but what are you studying in your Bible Study group?

Tomorrow I am at the Clinics all day. Will leave early morning to travel to VGH and that’s a 2 hour procedure with the Surgeon. When I’m back home I rest. After a rest I feel a little better.

Will say Good Night and God Bless! See you all tomorrow night! 😴🤗🙏

Today we received the sad news that my daughter's friend as gone to be with Jesus. It is sad because she was 43 years old and it feels like she should have had more years to see her children grow up but that was not God's plan. We just have to trust that He is in control and that it will be make clear when the time is right. We also know that she in the arms of Jesus with no pain which brings us hope that some day we will join her. I have been working on a zig saw puzzled that I received for Christmas. It is only 500 pieces but it is hard because the pieces are so weird. Some are very large and others are long and skinny. It is also from a painting that does not have a lot of details. The leaves on the trees and petals on flowers look like the painter just daubed their brush against the canvas. It would be much easier with nice crisp lines on the leaves and petals. I can say it is making my brain work harder.

Judith - I am so sorry that your face is steadily growing worse. I pray that there will be a treatment plan that does not cause so much pain and can eradicate the cancer. I am glad you took yesterday off to rest. The flowers that your friend brought are lovely. Were they out of her flower garden? I like the colors in your tablecloth too.

Susan - I do hope that you and Colin will be able to take a few more trips that are short. Being close to medical care is important. Glenn does not like to travel overseas in case his heart decides to start beating irregularly like it did in the past. He had an ablation on his heart in 2017 so his pulse does not get into the 300's as it did then but stress can cause him to have irregular beats in his atria (top part of the heart).

Barb - Does HH pump because she does not know if she has time to breastfeed if 3 needs her? It would make it easier for other people to feed her but it does make the mother/child bond compromised. She could also spend time with her just rocking or playing if she can not feed her. There are other ways to bond. It is a good idea that HH thickens 3's liquids. Having a wedge in bed can help with his breathing but when I used a wedge, I did not find it very easy to turn over from side to side.

I did not mean to scare any of you about the wild animals we have at the trailer. We feel very safe with our situation. We have seen several bears but when they see us, they run the other way. Mountain lions are not usually seen but hide in the trees to jump down and pounce on their prey. We have seen foot prints that look like a mountain lion and our BIL thinks there is a den up in the mountain above his property. He says it smells like a cat litter box which is what usually happens - they are just big cats. The coyotes are loud but we only hear them at night. The last time we were there, it sounded like a young coyote had gotten lost from the pack and was calling for help. We could hear them howling at each other to find the little one. I have heard that they are very devoted parents to their babies.

This will be short since we will be leaving soon. I wanted to take a walk before TOPS club but got caught in a rain storm. We need the moisture but I gained .25 pounds which I am saying is from my wet hair from the rain.

Linda, I am glad you feel safe in the woods knowing the wildlife habits as you do. All the same, please take care there. I was saddened to hear of the passing of your daughter's friend. I'm so glad she was saved and is perfectly well and safe now. There is still much work for everyone left behind. I hope and pray the family gets the long term help they will need in adjusting to their great loss. Oh, doet us know when you work put your jigsaw. It sounds like a fun one and good for keeping the mind agile.

Judith, I am praying your appointments go well. We know you need rest after them so will pray you get that, too. I'm sorry the ointment you need isn't being approved. Hugs and prayers, my friend.

Barb, I will pray for HH and Harry3 too. Their situation seems so difficult. Hugs for you all. I'm glad he probably won need more surgery.

Linda. Glad you are safe, it’s always good to get rain in the summer. Sorry about the gain, being wet may have diene it. So sorry about your daughter’s friend went to be with Jesus. Prayers for her family too. How is your puzzle going? Hooe we see it when finished. We will be getting some smoke too. It may have started tonight but we are to notice it tomorrow. Smoke from north of us so not your fires I believe.

Susan. I hope also, that you and Colin can go camping again are snores big out in Australia like here with a camp fire? Have you been many places in Australia with the camper. Sorry if answered already. Thank you for the prayers for 3. It’s just a long recovery. Today I poured y heart out to avoid olus complained too. I feel so bad that they have to go through this. I know sin is why.

Judith. We are all praying for you. Be nice if you got some answers plus not be in pain praying. Hope you can sleep well too. 🙏🏻

Please pray that Annabella won’t cry a lot when Amy leaves on 1.5 weeks. With Harry 3 having rehab 3 days a week 5 hours he will be beat praying he gets back on track and improved and in time is walking plus standing. He now says he has sleep apnea too. That part of the reason why cry to God they have so much going wrong I like something going well or a way of escape. Jean did a great haircut and easy cleanup. I walked with Evan and Mariposa. We saw the hen & roosters by her place so that was nice. Thank you for the prayers. Pray they can sleep oh Mariposa has regressed and is wearing pull-ups she was potty repainted. Oh well so you can see why I cried out to, God. It’s so hard when it’s one of your own kids going through all this. It took long time for 3 to find his wife, they had 2 ectopic pregnancies then God gave them 2 beautiful. Girls by embryo adoption then 3 gets a tumor. It’s hard. Thank you.
HH had a good caring bridge post, so that encouraged me tonight.

Hope all have a great weekend.
We are enjoying some nice August temps feels like September the heat will come back next week. We got smoke from Canada, there is allot of wild fires there plus Grand Canyon, . Is that where your smoke is from Linda?

You sound so stressed, Barb. Praying for the whole situation. You all need God's strength to get through this.

You asked about our previous travels. Australia is as big as mainland USA. We took 15 months to circle it in 2017 and 2018. Then in 2023 and 2024 we took 10 months to go down the east coast and sail to Tasmania, then come back up through Central Australia. We have seen a lot but I don't think anyone could see it all. It's a huge place. We still wanted to do more big trips but probably can't now. We liked living on the road in the van. Sometimes we would have camp-fires and roast marshmallows, but no S'mores. We don't have Graham crackers here and I can't eat them anyway as they are gluten based. Colin needs to be near his Doctors now so really, I think we will eventually sell the van, when he adjusts to the idea. We're not even talking about it yet so it won't happen in a hurry. Life is a series of changes and adjustments isn't it. No one gets a smooth ride that I know of.

Susan, you have had some beautiful trips seeing many parts of Australia. I am trusting God Colin gets reinstated and NSID and the other organization can get some much needed treatment for Colin. I am thinking maybe small trips like a holiday weekend and or trip to see your family with staying close to areas that have hospitals and Doctors. Small trips might be all Colin needs to give him a boost. It’s hard to think of selling the Van you have had so many trips, a lot of memories. My prayers are with you.

Barb, I am so sorry to hear Harry3 fell and Hong Hong hurt herself trying to catch Harry3. I am trusting neither are hurt too severely. My prayers are for both of them for a speedy recovery and healing. I am so sorry to see you so stressed my friend. This is so hard watching your beloved Son and Daughter in law go through so much. Praying the Lord bring comfort and strength to you my dear friend.

Sorry I haven’t been on here much sine my Thursday’s appointment. My face and lips are a mess, raw inflamed and swollen. The diseased tissue and skin is growing faster than my Surgeon can remove. He said it was the worst he’s seen ever. I gave an update on my med as they changed it and I take it 4x’s a day for 7 days. Chemotherapy meds are not stopping or killing the Cancer Cells from forming. Think my oncologist will add another med one that usually in past has been approved, not like the last one that has never been approved!

    Thank you for your prayers.

    Love you all! Hugs… ♥️🙏🤗

Judith. Thank you for another update. Praying for you, plus wisdom for drs intreating yiu. A daughter in law of a couple our SS class has cancer in her mouth. She use to have cancer some other place but forgot where. We are new to the church anyhow she thought all was good to only have the cancer come back in her mouth. She’s on chemo too vacant eat much as her mouth lining is very thin. Everything must be soft too.

Susan. Thank you for explaining. Your past trips sounds so neat. I’m sure seeing the beauty of your country is encouraging. I know I find that with USA. Prayers you can maybe do a day or 2 trip or weekend? Prayers for wisdom.

Today when I was there visiting 3, 3 was eating and he had the most scary choke I’ve ever seen, he had no incidents of choking at the rehabs but sure has it at hime. HH says it’s getting worse. All due to a carrot. 3 doesn’t like cooked carrots.
HH is crazy with carbs, protein and fruit and veggies. She takes it to the extreme that way. He was talking and breathing & food did come up. I wonder if the choking has to do with not having speech, as many times his therapist was with 3 when eating. He has no therapy since being released 7/17, while we were gone, God knows. Thank you for the prayers. I must admit his choking scares Mariposa too.
i hope this place who has been in business for 75 years and has specialists can help him. I can’t wait till Wednesday when he gets to, go and have therapy again. Therapy in OT, PT, speech, music. 15 hours 3 days a week.

Linda we sure have the smoke. Most of it from Canada. There is like some 200 fires up there. Sad. Not many are under of any under control. 🙏🏻. How is it in grand Juncion? 🙏🏻

    Have a good weekend all.

We made it back to Grand Junction at 3:00PM and now I am baking and cleaning for our potluck tomorrow at our house. The potluck theme is Brunch so I am making Golden Bubble Ring (which is like pull apart cinnamon rolls) and Breakfast Enchiladas which I made tonight and will bake tomorrow. Our trip was made less pleasant by problems with our spring water system. Each time we leave we shut off the water but something went wrong and the shut off valve did not work. One faucet was on a bit and it dripped the whole time we were gone. When he turned the water on, the faucet had more force and it gushed with water filling the sink and running over the floor all the way past the dining room table to the end of our bed. We caught it in time to not get in our storage boxes beside the bed. Fortunately, we had several thick towels in the storage boxes that we used to sop up the water. At least I did not have to mop the floor this time. Last night the faucet in the kitchen decided to drip (it does that when it gets cold) and I could not sleep. Glenn got up (bless his heart) and went outside and turned the water off. This time it worked and the dripping stopped. While we were there another water related thing was that we had on and off thunder storms and one big hail storm. We were watching closely to see if there were any wild fires that were started from the lightening but we did not hear of any this time. It is good to be home but we still need to figure out how to fix our water dripping problems in the kitchen in the trailer next time. w

Judith - I do not have words to express my feelings about your mouth. I'm sorry does not convey the sadness I am feeling. Hopefully the antibiotic and ointment will take away some of the inflammation. I am praying for a major break through for you as you requested.

Barb - 3 and HH are sure having a hard time and it is hard on a mother's heart to watch and not be able to fix things. Mariposa is probably regressing because she is scared as you said with the choking but also she does not understand why her Daddy is not the same as he was just a few months ago. It is so hard for them at this age to understand things we do not even understand but we adults are better processors than a child. I wonder if 3 is choking more because he may have forgotten all the little details that speech therapy told him. I know we had to remind my MIL many times how she had to swallow slowly, take a drink of water between bites, tilt her head, etc that she did not remember. Yes, our smoke is coming from Arizona Grand Canyon area. The smoke is not too bad right now especially with the rain we had so the fires are getting more contained. I will show you the puzzle but it may be a while. I just work on it when I have a few minutes.

Susan - I can not eat smores either since they have way too much sugar and I can not have the chocolate. This year when the family was up at the cabin, I tried to shortcut their smores by using cookies that were coated with chocolate in place of the crackers with pieces of chocolate. They did not go over as well so we will go back to the original ones next year. I agree that maybe taking short trips may be the best option for Colin and you. It would still give him some time in the caravan but also keep him close to medical care he might need.

Linda, It makes my mouth water just thinking about pull apart cinnamon rolls and your enchiladas, oh how yummy, however even if I could eat I wouldn’t be able with such a sore painful mouth and lips. But one day I will hope over to your place and eat your enchiladas and cinnamon rolls! So sorry about all the issues with the faucet leaking and water all over the place. Good you had towels to soak up the water. Yes Glenn is such a sweet man to get up and go outside and turn off the water so the dripping didn’t keep you awake. He is so kind!

Barb, I am so sorry to hear the issues with Harry Choking on food. It would be scary for Mariposa, it’s hard for a 3 year old to see her Daddy like that. I hope things improve when Harry3 can be back in PT and have OT and have his Speech Language & Swallowing therapy again. I remember when I was working in rehab we had patients that had to be reminded to eat slowly & take small bites! I will continually keep Harry3 and the whole family in prayer! I believe Harry3 will get through this and do better with his eating and his mobility. Barb so sorry to hear of the lady in your church who has mouth cancer, my heart goes out to her, have said a prayer for her!

Susan, you were talking about s’mores, I am not diabetic or had any issues with sugar but I couldn’t eat s’mores as I found them too sweet and I have always been noted as having a sweet tooth but no s’mores for me. My kids loved them. I love chocolate especially Hot Chocolate filled with Cream to top of mug and a huge layer of Whipping cream to finish off! Yummy 😋 as I said in my last nights post I hope you and Colin can make short trips in your caravan with staying close to medical help should he need it. Have a wonderful Sunday service! God Bless you!

Thank you Linda, Susan and Barb for your kind comments regarding my mouth and face. Appreciate you prayers. I know I will get through this. God is faithful and He is able. I keep my eyes on Jesus and take it day by day and step by step!

It’s off to bed now! Good Night and God Bless! See you tomorrow! Have a Blessed Sunday enjoying your Morning Services and Family Time! 😴🙏🤗

Linda the cinnamon rolls sound very yummy. I hope your Brunch went well. That’s sweet Thant Glenn for up to turn off the water. I hope you can get it fixed easily. Will you have to have help or can Glenn fix it? Harry can’t so we would have someone help us.
Glad the smoke is not to bad it’s been bad here but mainly from all, of Canada’s fires guess we like to, share the smoke

Hello everyone. It's after lunch now and I have time to chat as I finished Uke and my chores. Later there will be singing with the Starlight Singers.

Barb, I am so sorry about Harry3's chocking and the distress it causes everyone. It sure does sound like he needs a medical review. I hope that happens very soon for him. I'm praying for you all. We are not likely to hear anything about the NDIS for a few more weeks but My Aged Care has been in touch. Again it will be a long while before he gets any help from them. I'll keep you posted. Thank you for praying.

Linda, a dripping tap would keep me awake, too. It might help to run a string from the tap to the drain. At least the water could run along a string silently, if the drip cannot be stopped. Week about the almost flood! Glad you both managed to contain that!

Linda and Judith, yes, short trips in the van are what we are considering. Barb asked me if we had S'mores so I was letting her know we can't make them even if Australia had Graham crackers for sale. I don't much care for Aussie marshmallows either. They make them small and half of them are a kind of raspberry flavoured which turns them pink. I only sort of like the white ones but they are not my favourite treat.

Judith, I sure am thinking about you and lifting you up to God in prayer. Take care of you. It's times like this that I kind of wish you didn't live alone, but maybe that's just what I would wish for if I were you.

Our brunch went well. We had more than enough food to feed us all and then some took other people's leftovers too. I have enough enchiladas left over I do not need to make breakfast tomorrow - just warm up what we have. Tomorrow a friend is having her varicose veins taken out so I will be taking her to the doctor, waiting until she is done and taking her home. She is having a lot of swelling in her legs and her doctor thinks this will help the swelling she has. She also has quite a few medical issues like diabetes, kidney failure stage 3, and congestive heart failure.

Judith - prayers continue for the antibiotics to help. Are you seeing any difference with them? I agree that smores are really sweet. Since we do not eat a lot of sweets when I do have something sweet, It almost makes me want to gag when I taste it.

Barb - prayers continue for 3, HH and the girls. I hope that the vocal cords are not having more damage. It is good therapy will be starting soon and maybe they can get some answers. One of the men who was here today explained to Glenn how to fix the leak in our trailer. He said it is "simple" but it is because he knows how to do it. Glenn does not like to fix things but he says he will try. It would be very hard to get someone to come to our trailer to fix things. We are not near a big town and repairmen do not want to travel so far. There is a repair person we used when the trailer was leaking around the air conditioner but we had to take the trailer to him.

Susan - prayers continue with the appeal and Colin's health.

Linda so glad your Brunch went well. Nice you have plenty of food left over including enchiladas so you can have some for breakfast. That’s a nice treat not having to make breakfast just warm up what you have. Yes S’mores are about the last thing I would eat. Love other sweets but the S’mores are over the top. It seems that none of us like them due to them being way to sweet. You said you are taking a friend to the Doctors to have her varicose veins removed. So nice for you to do that. Your friend has so much going on with her health, will say a prayer for her. You asked about the antibiotics if I noticed any change, not really on upper lip maybe a slight change but it is very minimal. I am on the med until Thursday so hoping there will be a good change soon! There is a lot of bleeding on both lips.

Barb, I am so sorry that Harry3 is choking so much. I am hoping he can be seen by his specialist soon. That he can be reevaluated soon so they can help Harry3 soon.I feel for HH seeing her husband like this and the Girls seeing their Daddy like this too.

Susan, my prayers continue for the appeals and for Colon. Glad you and Zcolin are both thinking shorter trips would be better for Colin.

Thank you all for your prayers and for asking after me. I am on here after midnight. I was on earlier last night and complete the threads and read most of your comments but left to rest and take my meds so came back to post.

I will say Good Night and God Bless. 😴🛌🙏🤗

I am praying with his starting the therapies again things will settle. They, aybenable to,give us some answers too. My sister texted that a friend had cancer in vivcal cord one was paralyzed too. It takes time and they have to watch what they eat exercises, which I don’t think he’s done, and in a year you wouldn’t even know they have vocal cord cancer. So!this could be his problem. Wednesday will come soon. I hope he gets to where he was with the therapy in his balance. Then standing, walking and steps without wheelchair.
    All, in Gods time.

Barb, the date for Harry3's therapy is almost here, thankfully! I hope and pray he will respond well to it and that there won't be another underlying health issue. It is hard for you to see your son and his family going through this. I know you must be praying earnestly for them all, and the Bible tells us that the effectual, fervent prayers of a righteous (wo)man availeth much. We're told to have faith and stay in prayer! Hugs, my friend.

Judith, thank you for praying about Colin (thank you all). He and some buddies with serious health issues are going out for coffee this morning. It always cheers him up. I wish I could take all of us out for coffee too, you, Barb, JC, Marilyn and Linda. I am continuing to pray for you. I am hanging on to the fact that there has been a tiny change to your upper lip for the better. May that goodness continue.

Linda, your brunch sure sounded nice. Now I hope you can find someone to fix the plumbing. Is there anyone handy in the church who wouldn't mind being asked? I fo hope your friend finds having her varicose veins stripped will help. You are a sweet friend to go with her today.

Linda so glad your brunch went well. I hope that Glenn can fix your trailer, praying. Maybe Google it? How did your friend’s varicose vein stripping go? Prayers

Judith. Praying for you. Can you sleep ok? Hope there has been a small change to upper lip.

Susan. Continue prayers for you and Colin.

Getting closer to rehab day. I wonder if 3 have one, two, or 3 sessions this week. We will know soon.😀

Each day gets warmer and back into 90’s Thursday. It’s summer still. In the 50’s is nice in the morning. I saw my eye Dr today a bit more macular but not much. My dr who has AMD says a new treatment to reverse macular degeneration has FDA approval. They will get it will cost $600 this therapy has had some great results in people. He will do it too so maybe says I’m a good candidate with my age, and not too advance with it. So maybe.
I have a small lump on my pointer finger right hand no idea. I’ll take pic of it. I poked it 3timesbwithaneedebninhelo & soaked in epsom salt.

I took the picture but it won’t post. Maybe later.

I was with my friend for three hours today as she got her varicose veins removed. She said it was painful even with numbing medication and taking a sedative. I certainly hope this procedure does help with her swelling in her leg. I did not mind waiting, I had a book to read that the elders are discussing. I was behind so I had extra time to read it. The book talks about community within the church. Many people are person centered (Jesus is with "me") but the book said Jesus taught that we are a body and we should be thinking community centered (Jesus is with "us"). He had some good thoughts so far. I have some extra time tomorrow. My morning Bible study is canceled and now Glenn just canceled our evening study due to him not feeling well. He is having a lot of abdominal pain and intestinal "issues". I hope it is a quick virus and he feels better soon.

Barb - It won't be long until the therapies start. I wonder that once 3 consistently works on his exercises if he will improve quicker. His body may be regressing because he is not doing the intense exercise that he was doing. Our weather has not cooled down. We were still 98F today and with the low humidity of 4% all the moisture is being pulled out of everything including my hair and skin. I need to lather up tonight with skin lotion to get my wrinkles to smooth out a bit.

Susan - I would love to have coffee with all of us! Just provide the time, date and money and I will be there quickly. LOL We did get someone to give some idea help with the dripping faucet at the trailer. We need to take the inside cartridge out of the faucet and replace it. Supposedly that will correct the problem. The seal is warped and that is why it is dripping when it gets cold and things shrink. Our son will look at the generator for us to see if he can help with that when we go back to Westminster in two weeks. He is a mechanic and I am sure he can tell us what is wrong without needing to pay someone a lot of money to do the same thing. It is very handy to have him around when our cars are not working well also.

Judith - I am glad that you are seeing a small improvement on your lip although I was hoping that the bleeding would stop also. With as strong an antibiotic, I would think that by a week of treatment, your doctor will see some difference.
