Thanks for the prayers. We made it safely to our destination although we went through multiple thunder heads that shook the plane. My husband called them "bumps" but I thought they were bigger than that. It's all a matter of perspective. It is 95 degrees in Florida and very humid. We are also at a much lower altitude so it is easier to breathe.

Susan - your fur babies are so cute! Our dog always was so happy after her groom. The hair would get in her eyes and after the groom she could see much better. We groomed her very short in the summer and let it grow out for the cold snowy winter. She was a cocker spaniel and lived to be 18 years old.

Marilyn - your posts make me think about so many things. They have such wisdom.

Judith - praying for your appointments and continuing healing. 🥰

It's true, Marilyn. Love and grief often go hand in hand, but I would not miss out on the live just so I didn't grieve 💕

Linda, so glad you got to Florida alright and are finding the weather more comfortable. Wow, your dog had a lovely long life. I get my boys clipped in summer too. Right now it is cold so they have their long coats.

Judith, thinking of you and praying you are doing alright. 💖

Another cold day. We did our washing, I groomed the dogs, and then crafted awhile.b I needed birthday and sympathy cards. Tomorrow my sister arrives for a 10 day visit. Will try to keep checking in here daily but if I miss a day, you'll know my sis and I are probably off having some me fun 😊💕

I walked almost 8 miles today at EPCOT. It was so hot in the sunshine but there were some places we could go into that were airconditioning so we frequented them and drank a lot of water. I'm on my way to bed to recover from all that exercise.

I'm a little still and sore from all that walking but doing OK. Today we set up our booth for the school to be ready for those who are registering tomorrow. We are right next to a lady that is working with essential oils. I hope they do not bother my husband's allergies. He was tested for allergies when he was young and had to take shots for them for many years. The testing showed that he was allergic everything that they injected him with - which was a lot. I am glad I do not have allergies like he does - just a few dietary ones.

Susan I hope you are having a wonderful time with your sister. Are you going anywhere exciting? How far away from you does she live?

Judith I hope you are getting more energy.

Marilyn - sounds like you are having the same weather that we have. I also hope your airconditioner can outlast this hot blast and will continue to run for the rest of the season and maybe more.

Linda, sis lives over 18 hours drive from me but she flew down so it only took 2.5 hrs travel! We're having a great time. Rest up and recover from your long walk.

    Lol, Marilyn!

Registration for the convention starts today so we will be manning our booth as they come in. We have quite a few students who have volunteered to help which will be a relief for us so hopefully we will get to some sessions with their help.

    Afternoon Hello everyone,

Susan, your pups are so cute. Love their dear faces. They look like they are smiling for the camera. Hope things warm up at your end.

Linda, hope you are enjoying your holiday and have had a safe and good flight. Take care my friend, our prayers are with you.

Marilyn, I really could identify with the grief quote you shared, thank you and the one on excuses, another great quote, not sure where you find these quotes but they are always good and encouraging, filled with much wisdom and always inspirational.

Today I created our new August Team Goals and shared a Newsletter for both Cardiovascular and BP sharing the advantages of exercising and eating Fresh Fruits and Vegetables daily. This month we are focusing on Heart and BP friendly fitness and fresh fruits and veggies for our health.

Hope you all will join me. Blessings on your day. Stay well hydrated and find a cool place during this heat wave most of us are having. 🙏❤️🤗

It is the first full day of the conference and there are a lot of college students, singles and church leaders here now. They are here until Wednesday and then we will have the teens, Spanish speaking ministry, childrens ministry, special needs and Forever Faithful (mature both in age and spiritually) here.

Marilyn, love your latest quote and Yes I so agree we should choose the better side of life! 😊

Susan, hope you enjoyed your shopping trip to IKEA and Office Works… blessings on your week! 😊

Linda, the conference sounds like it will be such a blessing. You certainly have a wide range of all ages and the topics for each group will be interesting and informative I’m sure. Blessings on your week.😊

Hope you all are enjoying your 1st day of August. For us here in British Columbia we are celebrating a Civic Day, called BC Day…

The shopping day was a big physical trial to me, but sis is happy. I have not been up to walking much since I got sick about four weeks ago. Today she wanted to go clothes shopping (she needs a guide as she is legally blind) so I went with her and wound up shopping too.

Susan - I a glad you are getting to spend quality time with your sister and get some clothes also. Shopping can be very tiring also - I understand.

We had a huge thunder storm last night. The thunder was almost contious with quite a lightning "fireworks" display. It was not in color as Disney had but more majestic and powerful when put on by God. Today it is hazy sky. We were told it is caused by storms in the Saharah desert. That seems a long ways away but I know we can be affected by fire smoke from a long ways away in Colorado.

I am going to some classes about how to have "difficult" converstions with others. As in the book of Ezekiel, we need to be the watchman on the wall helping others get to heaven. I totally believe that God has infinate grace on our sins but he also wants us to grow into His likeness and to help others to do the same. Grace filled conversations may be needed with those who are weak or searching for truth.

    Afternoon All,

Linda, I so agree with what you have said today and say Amen about Grace filled conversations: yes this is my desire that my conversations would be a blessing and lead others to Christ, that we all would learn to guard our tongues and learn how to be filled with God’s Grace in our conversations with others.

Susan, I so understand about shopping being tiring for you. I am sure your sister so appreciated you helping her pick out new clothes. Hope you found something nice for your self. And hope you can rest once you get back home from your day out with your dear sister.

Today it’s cooler here which helps but I must say at 80 degrees and high humidity it is quite muggy. It seems warmer than what the temps are telling me. Blessings on your day! 😊🙏❤️🤗

This is the last day of this section of the conference. We have had quite a few people express interest in enrolling in our school which is a blessing. This afternoon we are having the graduation service for the graduates who were able to come for the last three years. We were not able to have a service due to Covid for the past two years so we are catching up. Quite a few of our oversees students were not able to come this year due to wars and visa problems so we only have 7 attending. It is so sad to think of the ones who are in fear of their lives living in war torn countries. We pray for their safety as they strive to serve God in their situations.

    Afternoon All

Susan, I continue to keep you and Colin in prayer with trusting God for your healing and quick recovery from Covid. Also praying that your chesty cough has gone and you are feeling stronger and better.

Marilyn, thank you for all the inspirational quotes which are uplifting and encouraging.keep them coming my friend. Trust you and your family are well and enjoying your day and week.

Linda, sounds like you have had such a great conference with being blessed as you sat under some powerful teaching and ministry. It’s wonderful that quite a few of the attendees are expressing interest in enrolling in the school, indeed, this is a blessing! It’s wonderful after 2 years not able to hold graduation services due to Covid you are having one today. I am so happy and rejoice with the 7 students who were able to travel and be apart of the school and conferences but I am so saddened that so many are restricted from leaving their war torn countries and living in fear and those conditions. My heart and prayers
    are with them all.

Take care all, have a good day and week ahead. I appreciate your prayers love and support. 😊❤️

Yes, helping sis is important. She cannot see colours too well at all and has very specific taste in patterns and colour. We went to Costco today and she found some more things she wanted that were not clothes. Then we went to a boutique clothing and gift store and she found more items for her wardrobe. I must not have been in a shopping mood today as I bought nothing!

Got out of the hospital today - after been admitted through emergency on Monday. This due to kidney stones - had to have surgery where they put a camera inside along with the laser on the outside to blast the one big stone out and the to blast14 smaller one outs as well

Sorry but I am sleepy and in some pain so am going back to bed

Marilyn - I am so sorry that you had to go through surgery but am glad that you now have relief. I have heard that the pain related to passing kidney stones is near the top of the scale of severity of pain. I wonder if your kidney function will improve now that the stones are gone? Did they give you any instructions as to prevent them from forming again? I pray for your recovery from this surgery.

Susan - I am glad that you have had some good times with your sister and you are able to help her select her clothes. Most of my cothes are given to me by my daughter-in-law who loves to shop and then gives me her old ones. Some of them are too young for me to wear but she has a really good sense of fashion so I feel "in style" when I wear her clothes.

Last night we had our graduation ceremony and this morning we took the graduates all out to breakfast. There were about 75 in attendance for the graduation. We had seven countries represented in our graduates. The ones who came to encourage the one from Mexico were the loudest ones cheering. They do love to celebrate and make people feel special. Our mere clapping for the other people was pretty quiet compared to them. Each of the graduates shared about what they learned and what their plans were for the future. It was so inspiring to hear how blessed they felt to be able to learn from our professors as they explained the scriptures in the classes. They will now go on to spread it to others in their countries. We feel so proud and blessed to be a part of these students path as they now leave.

That sounds wonderful about the graduates and their work, Linda. Yes, my sis and I have done the same thing many times - swapped clothes, given each other our clothes - and it has more often been my sis giving me her stylish clothes.

Marilyn, thank the Lord you have now had kidney stone surgery! I pray you will heal quickly and completely. Like Linda I hope the removal of the stones does good things for your kidney function. Rest and recover, my friend.

Sis and I are off to the shops again. Take care, everyone. Xx

Just a quick note to ask for prayers for my husband. We had to take him to the ER last night for heart palpatations, dizziness, weakness, etc and they kept him overnight for observation. Today they will do an echocardiogram and he will talk to the cardiologist. It is possible that he has developed a heart murmur or this is a result of stress of all the things he had to do here at the conference. He is such a go getter that he forgets he is 69 years old but acts like a 49 year old. With age comes a slowing down that he really does not like. Thanks!

Update - My husband came home today with a report of no damage to his heart. The doctor told him to learn to relax and to catch the anxiety as it happens and not to let it go so long that it affects him as it did this time. She suggested the App called "Insight Timer" for meditation. He does a lot of meditation over scripture and prayer but this has helpful teachers who can help with a structured plan to help with anxiety. Have any of you heard or used this app? He is taking a shower and will go to bed for the rest of the day. He is really tired from all the tests and sleeping in a strange bed with strange hospital noises. As I was working nights, I never thought about how noisey it can be when you are working. We tried to be quiet but I'm sure we did disturb some light sleepers.

Linda, how concerning about your dear husband! I am glad they didn't find too much wrong, but still! No, I had not heard of the app you mentioned before. I hope it is helpful for your husband.

Marilyn, how are you feeling? It took me awhile to get over kidney stone surgery. I hope you feel better every day.

Judith, thinking of you and praying you are not having bad days.

We had a really nice day, taking sis in to the City for a live musical production of Cinderella. It was quite a good performance.
