We leave for the accreditation conference tomorrow at 6am. Since my usual bedtime is 1am, I will be pretty tired if I do not go to bed earlier tonight! I don't know how busy we will be so I may just drop by and say Hi on some days. We will listen to speakers then get with mentors who will work with us individually and give us direction for our particular situation. The school we had been sending student to after they take the basics from us so they can get an accreditated degree from them just told us last week that they are no longer going to be operating but have joined another Christian college who will take over for them. We are not sure that this new college will be able to work with us the same as the prior school has so this accreditation will allow us to keep the students for all four years and give out the degrees they need. It is really expensive to do this so we are just going to see what we need to do.
I finished the last of the apples last night. I cut them up to make applesauce since some were little and had bad spots in them. I could just cut out the spots and cook them in the crock pot. The house smelled really nice as they were cooking. While my daughter was here, we made pie filling for her to take home.

Praying for Glen, Marilyn and Judith to be healed, for God's will to be done in their lives.
May the church/school meetings go well, Linda. I loved your ring too. Mmmm, apples.
It was our 27th anniversary yesterday. We got married in our early 40s so cannot expect so many milestones. I will take what the good Lord sends us.
Today is packing day. We leave tomorrow. Can't believe the time has come!

Happy travels Susan and Happy 27th Wedding Anniversary my Friend! May you have many more. The time seems to have arrived so quickly with you travelling and being away from home. So happy you will have WiFi while you are on the road.
Linda, hope you enjoy the church and xvhool meetings and you enjoy the Conference while there. Look forward to hearing all about it! I am sure you made some yummy recipes with all your apples. Take care and connect with you when you are back!
Marilyn, continue to keep you in prayer trusting for successful surgery. God Bless
It’s my bedtime, so it’s Good Night my friends 😴0 -

Safe travels Linda!
I will have dome data available on the road, Judith, but not unlimited wifi. Will do my best to keep in touch. Some areas will be remote and not allow me to use mobile data. Keep healing, my friend!
Thank you, Marilyn!
We leave in an hour do this is just a quick check in!1 -
Evening Hello Everyone,
Linda, safe travels, hope your flight is smooth and you arrive rested at your destination. You have me yawning with you as I see it’s 4:30am at your end and you are heading to the airport with just 3 hours sleep. Wow, not a lot of sleep. Hope you catch some shut eye on the plane. Enjoy the conference. Look forward to hearing all about it!
Susan, safe travels my friend, enjoy all the scenery and the people you will meet as you travel in the different regions. I am sure you will so enjoy! My prayers go with you.
Marilyn, my prayers are with you my friend, let us know how your surgery went? Trusting for a successful surgery and you won’t need dialysis anytime soon, trusting for God’s healing upon your body my friend. Thank you for todays quote. Indeed we need to remember who we are; we are the Kings Kid and yes we keep moving forward!
Have a good night rest everyone! Hod Bless your Sunday, enjoy your Sunday services and time with family! See you tomorrow! ❤️🤗🙏0 -
Our trip was a long 12 hours of flying and driving to get to the Hotel. Our fights were smooth with just a few bumps when going through some clouds. We had two flights - one on a smaller plane to get to Denver then a larger plane to get to Maryland. We rented a car and drove to Philidelphia for the conference which starts tonight. I don't know if I will have much to share since it is like a business meeting showing us the procedure and costs to get accredited. We are just looking for information right now because being a small school, we may not be able to do it for a while if the cost is too high. We may need to do some fundraising before this. From what we saw as we drove into Philadelphia, it is a beautiful city with a lot of historical buildings. Our hotel is call ed "The Notary" and the rooms are elegant looking. I slept for over 12 hours and feel much better now. My internet is my hotspot so I do not know how much I will be able to be on here so this week - maybe a little short with only posting here. Have a great Sunday worshiping God. We will be watching our service online today.1

Sunday afternoon Blessings; hope you all had a Blessed day attending your Church services and time with family. As for me I listened to our Live Stream service from my Home Church. We are studying the Life of Abraham. The Sermon series is entitled: A Journey, Loving God, Life Giving Faith and Living into His Will: Food for Thought: Journey of Faith is a Constant Leaving! Remember Abraham left the Familiar to follow the Will of God!
Marilyn, this quote is so good, a great reminder that we take 1 step at a time, one foot put in front of us is much easier than trying to do it all, trying to do it all at once sure sets one up for failure so I’d rather take one step at a time. How are you today? Just want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers trusting for God’s healing power to flow through and upon your body.
Linda, you had a long journey to get to Philadelphia. I have heard others say the same thing that it being an historic town. I am sure the Architect is magnificent with all the skyscrapers and old buildings in between. If you have time it would be nice to tour a Art Museum or another quaint museum. Thanks for filling me in about the conference, really couldn’t remember what it was for. Having said that this would be important to learn all the ins and outs of having a small school and getting to know all the procedures of getting accredited and how to manage the costs with keeping the school going. A lot to consider. For sure I will keep this in prayer that you can take a lot of good information away with you to help you plan and make steps to get accredited. Your room sounds lovely, and the Name is so “Fitting”considering you are at a Business conference! Please don’t worry how much time you have on here, log on as much as you can. We look forward to hearing from you my friend!
Thinking of you Susan and Colin as you are travelling, keeping you in prayer!
Have a Blessed Sunday evening. Be back tomorrow.0 -
It is now 8:30 am and am ready to go to the hospital at 11:30 - will be operated on this afternoon and should be home by bedtime as I do not plan to spend the night. Just praying constantly that all goes well.

Marioyn - I am praying that your surgery went well and you are able to go home this evening.
Susan - it looks like a lovely spot to stay for the night.
First day done and my head is swirling with all the things that need to be done prior to accredidation. They told us to start right away getting ready but it will probably take more than a year to get things all in order. They do have consultants that will work with us for a fee and right now I am thinking that would be very helpful to get us directed and organized. All the professors will have to write down the plans that they have and how they want to get it accomplished. It is also costly to get accredited so we will need to find some donors to help. After today, we got together with 2 of our professors, our administrative assistant, my husband and I just to debrief and get a feel how we were all feeling. It's time to get to bed - sleep well everyone!1 -
Marilyn, I have kept you in prayer that surgery went well and you got home at supper time as you were planning!
Susan, you have a lovely spot to camp, so beautiful, thanks for sharing, great hearing from you today.
Linda, lots to take in with preparing for accreditation. It’s good you attended the conference gathering all the info you will need. I will keep this in prayer that you will be able to find donors to pay for the process of getting accredited. Didn’t realize it would take that long in gathering everything you need.
God’s Blessings all, it’s late and I’m off to bed now! Good Night 😴 God Bless you! 🙏0 -
I would appreciate your prayers today. There were quite a few people on our plane that were coughing. Overnight I have developed a cold and can hardly talk. I am missing the classes today (my husband is attending) and I don't know if I will be able to see my brother tomorrow. He does not travel anymore so this was a great opportunity to see him. It has been at least 15 years since I have seen him. May God's will be done in this situation.1
-
@Linda - so sorry to hear you are down with a cold - praying that you will have a healing so that you can visit with your brother.
Yesterday I had my surgery - went to the hospital for 11:30 but they could not do the operation till just after 3 pm so it wlas a long weight. Then in recovery from 5:20 till 9:30 when they discharged me - they keep you for 4 hours if you want to go home to make sure all is ok
Doc said surgery went well now just to see if my body will take the fisquala. Praying constantly that it will as right now it is very low and it needs to get a lot stronger. Shoudl it not work, well that would not be good news as then they would have to go through the neck and those that have it there are more prone to monthly infections. God is good, God is in control, God spoke to me last night - He has directed me as to what He would like me to do - He is asking me to spread the word as to what He has done for me over the years - maybe I will take the time when I have written it all down to share it with you - as I have seen answered prayers many times in my life - all the while He is telling me of His love for me and that He want me to be accountable for the temple He has blessed me with - so I am on a new journey putting my love for Him into practice more than every before - I have abused my temple with not honoring it health wise - it is time I take it serious and turn this over to Him and get it clean.
I went this morning to get weight - my part of being held accountable having 2 others record my weight. Down 1.8 this week. I have 1.4 pounds to lose to met my goal for October and as there is one more Tuesday I am commited to eat nutritious food and walk daily 10 minutes in order to help clean my 'temple'

Marilyn, I am so glad you are home and hope that the operation was successful. Your attitude is amazing and just right. The lord is blessing you and will continue to bless you. I will continue to pray for you. I hope you are encouraged by the thought that we are all praying for you. God bless you sister.
Linda, I am so sorry about you getting sick. I will also pray for you. Yes, the process of accreditation is long and complicated. At least it is here. Two teacher friends and I once thought of developing our own registered training organisation, but the tasks and costs involved were too daunting for the three of us. With a church behind you, I hope you will have great success.
Judith, Glad you enjoyed the picture of our camping spot. We are travelling again today in strong winds and with the threat of bush fires. The place we were in two nights ago has been blocked off now because of bush fires. We would appreciate prayer about this that we could get through without any trouble. I am also praying for you that you are healing.
I must go. Colin is busily packing up the van and I need to do my part. Sending hugs to all of you as well as prayers.1 -
Marilyn, you are a Mighty Witness for Jesus, you boldly proclaim the Goodness of God and are not silent with sharing the Gospel. You Shine for Jesus! You are a Faithful Servant of the Lord! God honours you as you confess your struggles and extends His Hand to you and helps you through and shows you what to do. A tender heart you have for Jesus! My prayers are with you as you share with others how God directs you and as you aim to meet your October goals. Congratulations on the Weight loss you have already achieved! Well Done!
I am thankful you did well in your surgery and
was able to be discharged for home. I am praying the fisquala will work, I’m praying for a miracle.
Linda, so sorry to hear about you picking up a cold and that you can hardly talk. I’m also so sorry to hear about you missing the conference today. I feel for you as I could sense the disappointment coming out as you shared the possibility of not being able to visit your brother you haven’t seen for 15 years. I will pray for you
Linda that you will feel better. All we can do is leave this in the Masters Hands and pray for God’s Will to be done.
Susan, you are welcome, I so enjoy seeing pictures and anything about your trip. For sure I will keep you and Colin in prayer regarding you not being able to get through some areas due to the Bush Fires. Praying for your safety and that your travels will not be hindered. Please keep us posted and let us know how you are my friend!
Blessings all, praying for you all, I thank God for your friendship love and support! God Bless you! 🙏❤️🤗0 -
Judith, you asked about the towns we have stayed in so far. The first night we went from Caboolture, Queensland to Inglewood, Queensland.
Then we crossed the border and spent two nights in Naarabri, New South Wales.
Tonight we are at Brocklehurst just north of Dubbo, New South Wales.
We plan to be in Parkes, New South Wales tomorrow night.
Our goal is to be in Geelong, Victoria a few days before the Spirit of Tasmania sails across the Bass Strait on November 7th. So far we have travelled 957kms, or 595 miles.
Hope that helps!1 -

That's so true, Marilyn. Hope you are mot feeling too bruised and battered today.
We had a cold night. It got down to 6C but because it was dry it felt like 1C, just above freezing. You all know how that can feel! I dragged out a warm fuzzy blanket about 4am and am still keeping it on me as I walk around. Colin had a wool beanie and flannel shirt. I have warm clothes I can put on too but they are under the bed right now. Now we are up, I can get to them. The night was peaceful otherwise. We didn't notice much truck or highway noise at all, but traffic is heavier this morning.1 -
Marilyn I praise God that you had a successful surgery. I would love to hear about how you have seen God working in your life. It is so encouraging nto read these things when things may not be going well for myself at the time. We are all in this together!
We were able to see my brother and SIL today. I was drugged up with medication so I would not cough on them but I had problems talking from my scratchy throat. I tried not to get too close to them but it was really hard since we had not seen them for so long. My SIL made beef vegetable soup and homemade bread so it was perfect for our lunch. We hve traveled to Ba,ltimore Maryland and will fly back to Grand Junction tomorrow at 10:30. I am sad that i missed a day of the conference but we had several others who were there too that could go do all was not lost. I will need to get with them to see what I missed.
Susan - I am praynig for your safety as you travel in the wind and the danger of brush fires. When are you meeting your friends to travel together?1 -
Susan - I am loving being part of your facebook group and seeing all the adventures you are doing. I don't think I could take that much adventure. I am so happy being "home" again after being gone for less that a week. Of course if I had not gotten sick I might have had more energy to enjoy the time away. I am feeling better every day. I did check to see if I had Co-vid but I was negative so it was just a nasty cold. I have periods where I have spasms of coughing then times when I sound congested but feel fine. I did wear a mask on the airplane in case I was to infect someone else.
The airplane ride to Denver was great but the one to Grand Junction left a lot to be desired. It was delayed by another plane not being able to take off because of a snow storm in Cheyene, Wyoming. We already had a 3 hour layover plus the delay so we were gone for 12 hours. It was really bumpy going up over the foothills before getting into the highest mountains and coming back down which was a bit unpleasant but was expected. It was cold and rainy when we got to our house. There may be frost this weekend.
Marilyn - I hope you are getting healed up from your surgery and this one works. I am also praying that your kidney numbers improve and you will not need the fistula at all.
I have missed being on this site while I was gone. I had to use my hot spot to do any posting because my husband did not feel safe having our computer stuff out to the public if we used the hotel internet. We have one more trip to go to a "Small Church building conference" in November. It pretty much is a group of small churches getting to gether to encourage one another and to have presentations that help us see ways to grow both spritually (most important) and numerically.1 -
So sorry I missed Wednesday and now back tonight. I left a prayer request and update on the thread, it was quite the day, very long. I am being referred to a Dermatologist as with so many skin issues and now another new one I need a Specialist who can look after these issues.
Marilyn, continue to keep you in prayer. The last quote was so true, thank you for sharing!
Susan, thank you for sharing all the places you are visiting and hearing about your weather and all your travels. Wonderful we can follow you around the beautiful places you are in. I could almost feel your cold Nite.
Linda, so happy you got to visit with your dear brother and sister in law. The stew and bread sounded like such a yummy meal!
I am so tired from today, being at Surgeon has really tired me out.
Will say good night and God Bless; be back in the morning! Take care all! ❤️🙏🤗😴0 -
Oh Judith, that is good news about having a skin specialist. I hope they can get things going in the right direction. Glad you are e joying our travels in my Facebook group. I can share much more there and have set it to 'private' so only people I know can see what we are doing. Rest, my friend. You need it.
Linda, that is just wonderful and an answer to prayer that you could see your brother and SIL! That just warmed my heart. Glad you are enjoying thr Facebook group too.
Marilyn, may you be healing beautifully and getting stronger every day.
We had quite a fun day today. This is the highlight picture, of the huge Parkes Radio Telescope known as The Dish.
