Yes I so agree Susan, I too hope there is no Sand in the Hat from their last Shore leave! Whenever the Ship goes to Shore and the Deck Hands (Land) on the Sandy Shore they shake the Sand out of their Hats before Boarding the Ship again!

Sand in my hat would not be good. I think I would rather stay on "land" than get dirt in my luscious hair.

Linda you used my word, “Land” you made me chuckle 🤭

Judith - we must have had our brains on the same wave length. I did not see your land when I put in my land. If I had a magic "wand" I would put a notice when we are posting so the other one would not post at the same time. I think Spark People did show if any of our friends were on at the same time.

Linda I think you are right, back of my mind I think they did, as I don’t ever remember the various issues we have had here with MFP with getting Timed out and losing posts. However glad to see the purple Save Draft on here, hope it means we are going to see some changes, all for the good. Here’s hoping 🤞 yes wish there was a way to let each other know we are on here and posting.

I wouldn’t like us to have to wait until Dawn to post to see who is here or not here!

I would wait on a nice lawn for the dawn if that were needed.

That would be a long night to wait until dawn to post. Maybe if there were a "fawn" that could lay beside me so I could pet it, I might be OK with that.

yes I like that Linda, a fawn laying down beside me, they are so sweet I’d take a Fawn any day! But I’m sure their Mama would be up tight and not like that. Hind sight might have to go to the Pawn store and buy a stuffie instead!

Momma deer told me it would be OK to babysit her fawn while she went to take a nap. I told her I would protect the fawn if a puppy came by that might hurt her baby with his big playful paws.

aww how sweet Linda, thanks for looking after the sweet Fawn so the puppy won’t hurt him with those big playful Paws. 🐾 This makes me so happy I don’t have to go to the Pawn shop and (Swap) a playful Puppy for a Sweet Fawn I’d take any day!

Sometimes at church we put stuffies in the pews for the children. (Not really but why not!)

That’s Cute Susan, yes why not, the kids would love the Stuffies but wonder if they would create some distraction for the members sitting in the Pews near them?

I don’t know “Spew the Stuffies” all over the Pews as they played with them!

( Made up definition) for “Spew” (the activity of throwing or Spew the Stuffies) all over the Pews! 😁

Some people who are very rigid in no noise or mess during the service would be in a big "stew" of emotions to see the stuffies thrown from one child to another accross the aisle.

Yes, we don't want anyone distracted in church. That would skew the message the preacher was trying to impart.

There are times in church that I have seen people napping if they were up late the night before. Maybe the activities of the children would "wake" then up so they could listen to the sermon.

Oh Linda you made me Lol 😂 with the vision of people napping in Chrch, and to ne honest, and sadly I have seen heaps of people over the years napping in church. I don’t think I have napped in church but who knows, maybe I have. And for sure kids throwing stuffies in the pews would surely Wake the People up! And who knows in the days to come we could see a group of very Weak Christians in Church napping!

I think as we age, many if us find that our ability to stay awake all the time weakens. Many with health conditions are on strong painkillers too which makes us sleepy. There are so many reasons why people might fall asleep. It is good that they are in church though each week!

I have heard that the sense of hearing is still working when people are in a coma. Maybe that is true for the sleeping church members too. At least they might hear something that makes them want to "seek" God more as they sleep.

Linda, Hearing is the last Sense to go, I was taught that in my Nursing and I remember a Doctor told me that they hear and to keep talking to them! So maybe the people sleeping in Church hear something that will make them want to Seek God more as they sleep. And I have to agree some pain meds do make some people sleepy but there are others who build up a tolerance and are not sleepy! So it remains to be Seen if sleeping people hear the message in Church or not?

I guess it remains to be seen if people who sleep in church have really been listening. The Lord knows!

yes indeed Susan, it does remain to be seen if people who are sleeping in Church have Been really listening. It makes you wonder what would make them Bend their Knee before God!

I do hope that they are able to hear something but I am not too "keen" on trying it out in our church service. Glenn might poke me in the ribs to wake me up and I might be so shocked I might yell which would be worse than children throwing stuffies.

I Hear you Linda probably not a good idea. I wouldn’t be too keen trying it out either! And Susan I would be joining the Teens in the Church with Lol 😂 also. sorry Linda! I wouldn’t try and hide so I wouldn’t be seen by anyone Lol 😂

I hope all this laughable activity would happen before the sermon! It would seem so inappropriate otherwise!

Yes that is true that I would not want that to do during the sermon. If that happened, I would not want to "meet" the eyes of the minister when he talked to me after the service.

you are so right Linda, I sure wouldn’t want to meet the eyes of the Minister when he talked to me. I so remember our Pastor approaching few of our Youth after Chutch, you could tell there must of been something he saw when preaching that the rest of us didn’t see but you could clearly see the Pastor was not happy! (True Story) I would rather be on a “Team” that helped teach children to behave to be quiet and do the right thing in Church showing respect to the Pastor and to please God by being respectful in Church!

It would not be fun to have the Pastor ream us out for bad behaviour in church. I would sure feel bad! And to think the Lord would know too would break my heart. Let's have all things in good order at church.

I would rather have the love and joy of God "beam" out of my smile that to be tearful that I had disappointed the minister and especially God.
