I am glad that Colin has a sturdy boat that has a motor. If it were a sale boat a gust of wind could be very dangerous. I also noted that the outside is painted with a coating that does not allow the metal to "rust". Colin is so smart to have this protection.
RUST1 -
I guess I was combining the two threads we are doing. Colin's boat was for the 5 letter words. I need to "rest" my mind and get more organized so stay with the theme!
REST1 -
Not too worry Linda, good to rest your mind. Yes it was good that Colin had the boat painted with paint that doesn’t rust. We were being very careful about the potential of a Gust of Wind so your Granddaughter was protected. So all the words fit well together! Gust, Rust and Rest, All Good!
Hope you had a good Rest; we need to TEST our minds to see if we need a rest, as having a rest is all good!
TEST0 -
Yes it is "best" that we must be prepared for any mist, gust, rust or dust that might cause harm to our guests.
BEST1 -
Oh, a good rest is just what we need. That sounds heavenly. We're so busy with our plans, we forget to rest. We must remember to rest, lest we forget.
LEST1 -
Yes I agree we need to rest so as we go thru the day Step by Step we shall remember to Rest Lest we forget!
STEP0 -
Rest is good for the soul in so many areas. As the old saying goes we must "stop" and smell the roses on our path in life.
STOP1 -
Indeed Linda, we must Stop and Smell the Roses, taking that needed Rest for our Souls, being Refreshed in the Lord! So this is TOPS we Stop and Rest!
TOPS0 -
In the past, I would keep going whether I was tired or not. Now I agree, stopping to rest is tops!
PAST1 -
I am glad that we know better now than we did in the past. Life goes so "fast" we need to slow down and learn our life lessons well.
FAST1 -
Yes, when I CAST my mind back, I did take liberties with my health. I'm wiser now, as are we all.
CAST1 -
As I also cast my mind back, I can also see that some of my decisions "cost" me health wise.
COST1 -
Yes, what matters most is that we all learned from our past choices.
MOST1 -
Yes I agree, when I look back at my younger days and remember all the risks I took it makes me shudder! I believe for the Most part we have got wiser. We learned to STOP the bad choices and be kind to ourselves!
STOP0 -
I have learned to stop and think as I "shop" in the grocery store. Organic may be more expensive but it can be more healthy than the regular vegetables.
SHOP1 -
Yes, and organic tastes better to me too. I usually shop for them. It's nice to have locally grown produce and not items they have had to ship in from afar.
SHIP1 -
I agree that locally grown organic is best. It may become a problem to get these organic foods though because the farmers are recieving a "push" to grow more using pestacides, make them GMO, and put preservatives in them.
PUSH1 -
Linda, I think that is so wrong. I feel for the farmers being pushed into practices they don't believe in and are not too healthy for anyone. I hope we can find an organic farmer nearby. Their produce may have a bug or two on them, but they are lush and taste so hood!
LUSH1 -
I do agree Susan I hope we can find a Farmer that grows produce on the land as it does make the land so Lush!
I have been some places where the land is soggy because it doesn’t have the right irrigation for growing produce properly and as a result the land turns to Mush!
MUSH0 -
On the properties that have mush for soil, I wonder if they could grow a cranberry "bush" that likes to have wet roots?
BUSH1 -
Yes, a land that has a permanent gush of water running through invisible hard to grow things on, especially when that water turns it into a swamp. I wonder if hydroponics, where they grow things in poly pipes above the ground, would be their answer? Some of my friends have fish Ponds attached to the hydroponic pipes so their plants are fertilised by fish water!
GUSH0 -
Yes that’s a good point Linda, hadn’t thought of that, and Yes, this property loves Cranberry Bushes so we can grow this type of Bush, we will have to find a good Local Nursery that has Starter Cranberry Bush’s for sale we can plant. Hope Mr Green Jeans can help us out. Maybe he will find other types of Bush’s that like Mush Type soil and flourish in it and provide us with a Good Crop! In this Community we need to be quiet going through the Nursery looking for a Bush as the people work all night and sleep during the day so we need to keep a quiet HUSH so we don’t
disturb anyone.
HUSH0 -
Night workers do not like to be wakened by loud sounds! I speak from experience of working night shift for 4 years. I wonder what they like to eat for breakfast? We might cook them some "hash" (potatoes, onions and meat) when they get up so they will be in a good mood if we disturbed them.
HASH1 -
Great idea, Linda. We'll be hushed as we look around thr nursery, Jufith, and cooking some hash for the workers will be something they appreciate I am sure. I wonder if we'll need cash to buy a cranberry bush?
CASH1 -
Indeed I always loved hash browns for breakfast along with eggs and bacon, yum yum 😋 Our community has new potatoes in their garden, they said we could have as many as we need, so once we dig them up we can WASH the dirt off and grate them to make our own Hash Browns…
WASH0 -
Yes, let's wash the potatoes. I went to a restaurant once that did not wash them well and I had dirt on my baked potatoe - yuck! I am sure the workers will enjoy the hash browns. This could turn out to be a big "bash" if others hear about it.
BASH1 -
Yes, food calls to everyone! This could be a way to raise some money for our project
We're getting the potatoes for free, so all our efforts at washing and cooking them could be sold to interested people. What do you think? Is it a way for us to get cash, or not?
CASH1 -
Linda, that sounds terrible, I can’t imagine having dirt on my baked potato, yes good plan Susan, a good way to generate money for our project, potatoes are free and I think we can muster up some elbow grease and wash the potatoes to make Hash Browns, the community will love them! So let’s Dash to the Potato fields and get digging and cook up our Hash Browns!
DASH0 -
I will follow you shortly. My eye is watering so badly I can not see well. I think I have an eye "lash" in it.
LASH1 -
Oh, that's a nuisance, Linda. I hope your eye is OK soon. Judith and I might wear goggles and gloves in the field, so we'll get started. We'll cook and Grate them, not mash them?
