This support is so important to everyone not just spouses. I think about this as I am doing my sewing projects. If the threads are not strong enough to keep the material together, the "seams" will fall apart. Our support needs to be strong like that threat so when hard times come (and they will) we do not want to fall apart and neglect to support others.

I could write "reams" of pages of how my life has been impacted during hard times and someone came along side of me and helped me carry my burdens. It is so helpful to have someone to walk with me during those times.

Absolutely nothing should sneak in to disturb our relationships. Our relationships reminds me of a huge "steak" dinner with mushrooms and onions on top. We are tender toward each other, we nourish our friendships with words and it is a celebration to come here.
