You ate so right, Linda. High tea is a fancy tea! I would even do my nails for one such event. Maybe! Lol!

Doing my nails is not a priority to me but my granddaughter loves to get pictures on her fourth fingernail and the rest of the nails are plain. This month she has red nails and a candy cane stripe on her fourth finger. Maybe next month she will get a "snail". She likes to do surprising things.

Doing my nails is normally reserved for weddings. I can't stand polished normally! Your granddaughter's nail sounds cute though, Linda. Could you say snails have tails?

I have never seen a snail with a tail but I am not going to get that close to them to check. I read in the news last week that the slime "trail" they leave behind is full of moisturizers and other good things and people like put it on their faces. It showed a person with a snail crawling over her face. They also said that you can buy the slime from the store that has a pleasant fragrance added. I will stick to lotion.

I too will stick to lotion on my face…Snail slime gives me the shivers just thinking about it. Think I will leave them to leave a trail on the Train Rails

I feel a little frail at the thought of snail trails on my face.

Snail slime is a bit gross. I would rather talk about a "fairy" friend I have. She cleans my house when I am sleeping and meals appear magically on the table at mealtimes.

My fairy also works in a "dairy" and brings me fresh milk and cheese. She is so talented!

Wow, Linda. I really wish I had a fairy friend like that. You are so lucky! I wonder how she would deal with all the hairy puff balls of dog fur? A fairy is a much nicer creature to bring in from the garden than a snail.

Fairyies and even hairy dogs are OK in the house but "nairy" a snail is welcome in my house.

As long as it isn't too rainy, fairies and hairy dogs can come into my house, too! I would put an old towel down at the door to dry their muddy feet first if it was too rainy.

Yes muddy feet can cause dirty floors to clean. You used your "brain" to think about putting an old towel by the door for the harry dog's feet.

Yes good idea to use a towel at the door to dry your dogs muddy feet when it gets too rainy Susan, that’s right Linda Susan sure used her brain 😁to think about putting the towel by the door to dry the dogs muddy feet. We could invent a Special Dryer/Cleaner Name Brand for cleaning Dog’s Muddy Feet!

Maybe the mat for muddy dog feet could be shaped like a half round for fitting near doors.

Half round rugs are good for little dogs that daintily walk into the house but our dog comes in with a "bound" and would probably miss even stepping on the rug altogether.

Oh dear, that wouldn't work for you then. Linda. My little dogs can be rough with the towel as they wrestle with it and scrub their faces in it, and sometimes they drag it around. The heavier the rug is, the less.likely they could do that. Maybe I should go for a full round rug.

When our older dog used to get her face wet, she did like to rub it on the side of the sofa as she ran along it. I have "found" that although dogs like to swim and get wet, they do not like to stay wet after they are done.

Yes I have found the same with the Dogs we had! And they would shake and shake the water off of their fur with making a mess in the process. I don’t think even a larger Round Mat would work with Akita and Husky Dogs, so I guess we need Sound advice from Mr Green Jeans who always knows what to do!

Yes, big dogs are a whole other situation! My two little guys are easier to handle. I bathe them in the laundry tub and hold up a towel between us when they want to shake off the water, but sometimes they beat me to it! Lol! I'm glad my laundry has lots of tiles on the walls to cope with their splashes. I'm glad they never try to bound out of the tub snd onto the floor too. Yes, ask Mr Green Jeans for ideas about managing the big dogs though.

Yes Judith, Akita and Husky Dogs are large dogs but also some "hound" dogs are big in diameter and can make a mess too.

Good idea Susan with towel yes I would be glad too that Jasper and Archie haven’t tried to bound out of the laundry tub, that would sure case a big mess of water everywhere.

Yes that’s right Linda Hounds are big dogs too and yes they would make a Big mess also
I hope we haven’t Found any other Big Dogs to add to our mix already!

Too late, Judith! I went to the pound and found a Great Pyrenees, a Newfoundland and a Great Dane who needed rescuing, one for each of us!

That is so thoughtful of you Susan - we all get to have a large dog. Does the pound also provide food and a house for each dog? The "mound" of food required for a big dog is pretty expensive for us retired people.

Thank you for your kindness Susan for the Big Dogs you Found for us at the Pound. I would like to adopt officially the Newfoundlander Dog as most of my Family were Born Raised and Live in Newfoundland. Hope you don’t mind?

Linda I agree as these Dogs will surely eat a Mound of Food, basically eat us out of House and Home we Pensioners who will buy the Food for our FurBabies!

Hope we can Find Some “Sound” Healthy Food @ our local Pet Store for our Large Dogs!

That's lovely of you to take the Newfoundland dog, Judith. I'm leaning gtowards the Great Pyrenees but the Great Dane is pretty sweet too! I think we all need to walk them together so we can still enjoy each dog. Unfortunately we don't get food from the shelter so maybe we can work out a way for the dogs to help us earn their keep. What could they do? My eyes are growing round with thinking of how they could help!

I think they are working dogs? Maybe we can hire them out to round up sheep and cattle? I will have to check and see what each dog was bred for. We can crown them with praises when we work it out!

Dogs love praises and will repeat activities that gets them praise. We had a "brown" dog that could do tricks for treats.
