yes Susan we join the Clan who Pines for the Good old days. And Linda so true when Life was so simpler, oh forgot about the pretty Wisteria Vines and the Swinging Porch swings we could swing away and not be seen behind the Vines. Those were the good old days. Love Pine Trees Wisteria Vines. But being in the countryside we also had the cattle and you remember the Barns packed with Swine. With all the Swine and Cattle it would break through the quietness of swinging on the Porch Swing.

Yes. Life seemed more peaceful then and our days especially in summer would seem endlessly lovely. The best time was when we were playing with our neighbourhood friends. We'd make two groups of nines to play games in teams.

A friend of our used to raise swine and when I complained about the odor, he told me it was the smell of money to him. Playing games was the highlight of the recess at school. If I tried to do it now, my knee would feel like the "tines" of a fork were jabbing my joint.

During the Summer holidays our kids always enjoyed playing games. Sounds like fun Susan. Yes Linda so true about the odour with Swine, it’s not for everyone to raise Swine. Yes I hear you Linda, just thinking about the “tines” of a fork makes me cringe thinking about your poor knee. Ouch that’s all I can say. And talking about games and the Tines of a fork it all makes me tired. So I think it is Nite Nites time for me!

Most of the time my knee is not painful unless I do some strenuous weight lifting exercise. I also think it is time for a nites rest but first I need a few "bites" of a snack to help me sleep.

Eating a snack at night needs to be low calorie and high fiber so I do not gain weight in the morning. But the high fiber snack is very chewy and it "tires" out my mouth to chew it completely. Maybe I should just drink a glass of water and go to bed without a snack.

Linda I like that a few Bites of a snack before bed, I am with you on that! And yes chewing tires you out. But just a glass of water is kind of boring! Think I’d rather keep chewing. Sorry… However, you are making me Tired just thinking of all that Chewing you will do!

Some people exercise before bed. I don't as I find it wakes me up. People with tread mills sometimes tell me they go for a jog! Do you do exercise before bed?

I exercise during the day when it is light outdoors especially if I take a walk. I prefer to get in the cozy bed and have my "reads" on my bedside table to read until I get sleepy.

My daughter does, either walks or goes on the Tread Mill, just like you said Susan it would wake me up! and Linda, I prefer to have my Reads close by, a much better plan being comfy in my cozy bed, some people Dread the thoughts of doing exercise, me I like it but at an appropriate time.

Yes, Susan, bread is something that I need to limit my eating. I have to "tread" lightly or my weight will register much higher than I want.

oh yes Susan Bread will put on weight so we need to keep up with our exercises; and yes Linda we sure need to Tread lightly in how much we consume Bread! Yes most people say it’s the Trend to eat bread in some cultures but I agree we need to be careful what the affects of Bread does on our Health!

Yes bread can be a stumbling block to me. I am not particular about what it is. Today we had croutons that I put in a casserole and I started eating them out of the package. I did stop myself before I indulged too much. I need an accountability "frend" who can ask me daily how I am doing. I have someone in mind but don't know if she is wanted to be accountable for her food.

Good idea Linda, I’m with you as I would need an accountability “Frend” (Friend) as I would do exactly what you did but I wouldn’t be able to Stop on my own. One would have to literally take that bread right out of my hand to stop me. So not sure how that would work. We both need help! We need to “”Finds” an accountability partner!

I hope this post finds you successful in your hunts for accountability partners, Judith and Linda. I am one of those who fends off accountability discussions with my food! I wouldn't be a good partner!

Sometimes accountability partners can be good if they can keep your information private. I do not want that person to tell how I made mistakes and over ate to everyone they see. We used to call those people "finks" who spread information that they should not have.

My heart sinks when I think about finks. That's why I don't like telling others about my deep thoughts too much.

Susan - I would love to hear your deep thoughts and I promise to not be a fink! Those people who share what is private information must have "kinks" in their thought processes in their brains.

yes Susan my heart Sinks too just like yours just thinking about Finks 😳 And Linda I join you and promise Susan along with you I won’t be like those Finks who tell all; I agree they must have Kinks in their thought processes. Perhaps we can search out what else “Links”their thought processes besides (Kinks)

I sent you a wink back Susan. Yes, Judith there may be some links that are missing in the finks brains. They think that they are having high "jinks" but it is costing other people misery and embarrassment. I wish they realized the harm they can do by being finks.

Thanks Susan, I just sent Winks back to you like Linda did. Yes they think they have high Jinks but they sure need to know the harm they are causing. They must realize that it Sinks People’s hearts when they do that!

Those are strong words Judith but it is true that actions can be very hurtful and emotionally damaging. It would "stink" to have to deal with that nonsense. As my friend says frequently Why can's we all just get along?

If anyone has any conscious about what is good, they will stop doing this hurtful behavior. If they can not control themselves they need to get a new hobby to take their attention off doing what Satan tells them do. I have heard that a person who "knits" is calmer and their work is useful for people. That would be a good thing to do.

I agree, Knitting is a great hobby, my family knit and my Mom did Needlepoint, I did Rug Hooking and some Knitting but enjoy card making and Genealogy the most. But for Teaching I love “Teaching Bible” 📖 People who Knits are much calmer. And maybe people who are in drama, being a part of Skits would help them to be calm and hopefully kinder.

Thank-you for the kissy face. It made me smile. Kisses are better when sent through the internet. That protects the rest of us if you might be feeling "sicky" and might spread the germs face to face.
