Nice loss. And yes I went to urgent care. No stitches but they updated me on my tetanus shot and gave me antibiotics. I’ll be ok. Thank you.1 -

October Challenge Week 3
Wednesday weigh in
Previous weight 193
Current weight 186
I didn't do anything different to lose 7lbs. My calorie intake was the same. Less exercise. I just don't understand 😕. But I will take it.2 -

Holy CRAP, I'd take it too! It'd be like a dream come true! Congratulations!0 -
Plateaus.....
As a (former) yoyo dieter, I would pretty much always hit a plateau, give up and stuff my face. My reasoning was, "well if I am not going to lose weight by dieting, I might as well eat!" as a justification to overindulge. You can probably guess where this led, even if you don't share my (il)logic.
I always hit a plateau when I weighed around 160 pounds. I suppose the exact weight may have depended on my muscle tone. Or my bathroom scales!
And I read posts about '"the whoosh" as well. Weight loss isn't steady.
But something weird has happened to me this round. No plateau and the steadiest weight loss in (my) history. It makes me wonder what causes a plateau, or at least what caused mine, because they can probably have lots of different causes. I have concluded that mine were of my own making. I got sloppy at counting calories or measuring, slacked off on exercise. Too much bread may have crept into my diet and I well know that I can't eat that stuff without gaining weight all out of proportion to the number of calories in said bread.
I am wondering about your experiences with plateaus....have you had one/some, and how long did it/they last and how did you overcome it/them? I have read that you could try eating more for a bit (slippery slope for me) or changing your exercise routine. Did those work for anybody? How did you keep from throwing in the towel like I always did?
Sorry to be long-winded. I have to do the solutions for a physics test and I am obviously procrastinating.

Goals/Day/Comments: My doctor was very happy with me today, it will be interesting to see how much weight I've lost the next time I see him which is every 3 months. I also had a NSV. I fit into a XL Blouse and it was not tight, it was actually just the way I like it. I'm tired today and I think I will go to bed early tonight.
I think I have been posting an update everyday, is that not the case?0 -
