Had some mangos and blueberries at breakfast. Otherwise not a very bunny-ful day thus far. I’m thinking big salad for dinner.

I’m finishing off the last bit of pasta I had from Sunday

But I made a very bunny-ful sauce: A red pepper a green pepper three stalks of celery And a couple of tomatoes

My body is going to be in shock

I made a big pot of chicken a la king. Bunny wise it had a whole green pepper, half a pound of mushrooms and 1/2 cup of pimento.

2025 Turkey Soup was 3180g in total... if we approve of boiled potatoes as bunnies, it has at least 1034g of bunnies (there were significant bunnies on top of that melted in the 316g of skimmed "gravy/jelly" that forms the basis of the soup).... now if only I had eaten more soup and less lindt cocoa based bunnies.... charitably got as far as high as 2.25 to 2.5 bunnies today!

Spaghetti squash with tomato sauce and a salad. There were three small turkey meatballs and a smattering of Parmesan. I had some blueberries and mango at breakfast. We won’t count the tasty biscochito cookie….. only one!

I ate my chicken a la king for lunch, that has mushrooms, green peppers, onions and pimentos in it, albeit not in overwhelming amounts.

I also had 120g of pineapple and 1/2lb of mushrooms with dinner. Then I had half a serving of Raspberry protein ice cream I made in my ninja creami, so 56g of raspberries.

    Happy birthday to me!

    πŸŽ‰πŸ’₯πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‰ and yay creamie!!!!!

And hmmmm... source of creamie recipesπŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

Unfortunately my bunnies (and more balanced eating) had a (few days and I'll scarf it all down) type of set back!

CCCGG's package which was caught by the postal strike has arrived.

Instead of trying to log soup and bunnies what are the chances that I'm trying to figure out how to enter μΡλομακάρονα and κουραμπιέδΡς in the 100s (and I'm not talking one or two) of grams in my suffering daily log?

    I think that's a pretty safe bet to make!🀯

Any chance you can pack up some of those fine Greek cookies into the freezer? I’ve frozen cookies but unfortunately they are sometimes better in their frozen state……

Did the lovely CCCGG make these delicacies? Either way I’m glad they finally arrived.

Happiest of Zbirthdays to you, Nic!

    Merry Christmas (??) PAV!

I know what you mean about tasty frozen cookies, Yooly. I was rummaging around for some Lentil stew in my freezer yesterday and found a bowl of lightly covered tiramisu that I popped in there when I made it for Christmas dinner. Too much to fit and thought I could put this aside for another time I didn’t mean it to be a long-term thing just something quick… I can’t believe I completely forgot about it. It was pretty tasty Half frozen.

How low is low? I mean really really low, or not as much as you would normally LIKE to have?

OK bunnies sort of I think maybe today? 350g of Pilipino Saba bananas that I air fried with 1g of canola oil and 1g of cinnamon :) 217g of grapes... BUT... that's already 625 Cal (they're both higher cal fruits/veggies/what have you). And I got in there some spinach.... unfortunately as part of the little triangle spinach pies from Costco that are running like 90 Cal each..... YUP.... I'm a good 300 Cal above maintenance today. UGH

Sorry for your bunny attack yesterday, PAV :p They don't usually run that way. I had to google those bananas! I hadn't heard of them before - but once I saw pictures I realize that I have eaten them before. But not cooked - just like a regular banana (I used to buy them for my boys when they were small too - and for The Boy).

I've not had them cooked though. Are they like plantains? or sweeter?

Hope today goes more to plan for you.

I'm day 8 with no bread (except one slice I stole from my housemate's fridge - which doesn't really count because it didn't interfere with my daily meal - though of course it counts as calories - but I'm not there yet.)

Removing bread from the options has really upped my bunny intake - along with everything else good for you. Just realized today how little I miss morning toast. And that was a whole heck of a lot of calories and sugar (with marmalade of course) consumed for NO reason.

If I could simply have a slice of toast with marmalade mid afternoon with a cup of tea - I would be so happy. But alas. As soon as I let that beast into my world it tries to take over, and usually successfully.

Cauliflower bunnies microwaving to be added to soup bunnies from previous day.

Humongous "uber egg bread-pudding like-ish almost" for breakfast! (102g) eggs, plus egg white (101g), plus 105g insides of a 7-11 bacon and egg wrap mixed with 90.5g of broken up insides of white bread.... let's see if it ends up having "staying power".

Fruit bunnies from less calorie dense fruits than grapes or bananas work better for volume for calories for me!

Saba bananas are, at a guess, equally starchy as plantains. Quick *not cross referenced* web results said starch similar to potatoes.

I didn't find them particularly sweet before air frying. Definitely more sweet feeling after air frying and cinnamon dusting. All in all quite enjoyable though the whole procedure was a bit much for regular use in terms of time spent for results achieved. Of course I am currently taste tuned to ultra sweet due to excess consumption of holiday sale chocolates... so may not be doing full justice to them.

eeek..... seeing this post is getting me to wade into the kitchen to rescue the cauliflower bunnies that have been sitting in the nuker all day (shame) :anguished:

The cauliflower bunnies that were rescued were added to the soup of the other day. Which was blended and extended and half of the total consumed! 🀣 Also made egg salad-ish with Greek yogurt, onions, spicy pickles, hot sauce, eggs and egg whites. Haven't calculated the calories yet but had 300g (about 1/4) on rice crackers. Also orange flavored cocoa bunnies!πŸ€”

How was your savoury break pudding?

Yesterday bunnies were good For me. Blueberry and spinach smoothie, Green soup, Clementines and an apple. Woohoo 🐰

Your bunnies sound good Laurie! Yup. For me eggs do have better staying power than their exact numbers would imply.... and definitely compared to cookies or rice crispy squares (ask me how I know!!!!) So yeah. Both egg thingies worked fine.

The 7-11 one is not highly recommended. They pollute their "breakfast wraps" with some sort of "mayo/sauce" that tastes OK for many calories  I suppose not the worst option if you're out and about and getting it for $1 with your coffee... but not a great caloric value option if you're at home!

Bunnies missing in action this morning!!! Pulled out the clementine box from the top shelf in my fridge today (just a half fridge - under the counter - so I don't always see too well in there :) )

NO clementines. Just 1 red and 1 green pepper. Some jokester squeezed them in there on the weekend trying to make room in the fridge for other things.

    :(

Peppers are good! Would have cut down on the calories of my egg salad this morning.🀯

Bunnies good today! Clementines for breakfast :) green soup with a cup of grape tomatoes on half, and an apple.

Something exciting on the bunny front coming this week. No Frills - my local low priced basic grocery store had frozen chopped spinach and mashed butternut squash blocks on sale for $1

I bought 2 of each with no real plan - but maybe something with french lentils? Certainly quick and easy with frozen veggies :)

Strange, PAV. No Frills in Hamilton has their no name frozen spinach on sale for $1 - when I picked that up I noticed mashed butternut squash right beside it in the same frozen blocks wrapped in their no name yellow - with NO price anywhere - but it checked out at $1 also! Woohoo :) Perfect for your soupish concoctions :)

    I am preparing the BUNNYGEDDON!

300g of red and white onions, 10g of olive oil, 28g diced/granulated garlic from a jar (costco), 2002g frozen diced carrots, 3013g of canned diced beats including liquid and all, 410g tri-colour coleslaw, 2009.5g of chickenless chicken broth (plant based president's choice for the Canucks)

Has been bubbling for the past hour.

Considering what else to add..... ideas welcome!

Signed: kitchen putterer without a clue! :hushed:

Still.... I figure it will end up making a meal or two!!!!

I had some vegetarian pho Monday. They added chopped zucchini and spinach. Maybe a few beans for protein? Tofu?

I do have a pouch of brown rice, lentils and quinoa floating around. But I was thinking of making the "base bunnygeddon"... and then splitting it in containers... and then maybe adding things to each container as they come out? I have some frozen "beef rolls" (shaved beef in the shape of a roll that can be super quick heated in the context of asian hot pot/soup). hmmmm...... tofu and egg would be very interesting if I was keeping the whole thing as soup forever. Though I've had thoughts about morphing it to spaghetti or other type sauce (even chili) later if there's any left.... but it should start life as a soup I think since we're hitting the 0 to negative range this week!

I was going to mention lentils - I tend to add some of them to almost everything. Boost of protein with no weird flavours - and I find them very satiating for their calorie cost. Turns soup into a fulsome feeling meal.

I have also been reading a lot about freezing extra firm tofu - and then defrosting and grating it using a cheese/carrot grater. Supposed to maintain some chew - and again - extra protein with no outside flavours.
