Good morning, happy mid week. Will do a zoom Bible study today. Not too much going on, 48 outside.

@Tabatha_Cain - you have lots going on, you also need to put yourself 1st, we always need self care. On relationship books, some are ok and like you there are somethings left unknown for both sakes.

@Cormierannie ,,, Oh MAN We STILL do not have snow where I am. LOL It was sleeting all night, but not snow.
@Lindiemaep ,,, Last night one of our announcements was "When there's a storm you'll get a call from your group overseer and we'll all meet on zoom (snow storm". LOL THINGS SURE HAVE Changed with zoom!! Its good though because for the longest time we'd get snowstorms on Tuesday!! One Jan we had to cancel 3 times out of 4!! I was giggling cause MANY of us ADORE SNOW and we all have the hot chocolate, comfy jammies, sitting at the window watching it fall thing going on. I could almost hear some groaning!! So yeah I was giggling!! LOL!! GLAD Amigo is better today! I know vets are so UNREAL Busy to get into and $$$ much more expensive then they had been. I've requested Izzy to GET A JOB!! She just stretched out more and purred louder. LOL She knows THAT IS her job!! Where I live ALL pets must be vaccinated at all times (even if like Izzy they are indoor) and have an annual visit with a vet. I AM OKAY with that!! Though not required, I always make sure my insurance covers her if she bites etc. anyone. Its better safe than sorry!
@Novembergail,, LOL the directionally challenge shall arrive at a destination though they may not where they are! That did make me giggle!!! Ohhhhhh OUCH on being 2 hours out of where you wished to be, but you do what we used to do before GPS ,, only ours was on purpose. Yup we'd get in the car and JUST GO!! Wherever we went, we went. WE LOVED those trips!!! "Looks like a fun road!" AND We'd TAKE IT!! Saw as you did some really cool things/places/people we'd never of otherwise!! Stayed at some AMAZING Places and some FREAKY Ones too!! LOL hey they ALL make a story!! I've been to Amish country and it's pretty neat on various levels. I DO love the idea of family all around in one area and a simple life. But I also like many modern conveniences!! LOL Such as this foolish box I type into a LOT! It's FUN getting to talk to you all!

I did a walk to Safeway and back as I was out of yogurt ( gasp) and almost out of flaxseed (gasp again ) and thought I better get some so I did and came home, had a yogurt for a snack and now ready to do other things. Amigo was in the lazygurlchair, I gave him some plain yogurt - barly 1/4 teaspoon and it encouraged him to get up and go eat but when he got to his bowl his ears were back and I knew he did not want the food in it, so I cleaned it out got a fresh bowl and gave him a good helping of salmon and took it to him in the livingroom - when I peaked in later he was up on all 4's eating it!! maybe he cought my cold ? It does ring in reality that one day he might not recover vet or no vet. Gene will do the vet call, he pays not me.
@Dianedoessmiles1 that's so funny, it reminds me of a talk - we are Jehovah's Witnesses all the time, we don't take time off from it. So glad we have zoom now for the meetings. I do zoom because I have cold like symptom so zoom it is. And um I AM one who is directionally challenged - once my granddaughter and I went to Whistler and when we got there, I got us LOST lol and that was just in the village - fortunately Charise knew how to get us back to the hotel!! I treated her to a dinner at a restaurant where the chef was the one from winning Hell's Kitchen - he was not working that night but food was interesting and good, Charise enjoys fine dining!!!
@NovemberGail I ahve been to those states !! When doing the "tunnel" I am sure you know which one, we passed many derlick houses and I asked my host if people actually lived in them and she said yes. How sad indeed. I grew up in one, so I had special sympathy for them. I think my fav place when I was there though was in Maryland, Ocean City and Thrasher Fries !!!! lol I did do Pa too and toured an Amish farm as well. tons of pictures somewhere ! Hope Billie behaves today eh !!
@Kurtize enjoy your bible study - what chapter? We have ours at our meetings as a congregation.

Before seeing that post I was ready for shut eye. You've perked me up a bit.
When I told about getting lost between MD and WV, I didn't say that I had ON-STAR, and when I called to ask them how to get back to the highway, the operator started giving me a whole page of instructions. He finally said, call me back when you get to this spot. I laughed myself home. I also stopped and a whole bunch of gas stations (at least 2).
Billie did get into some minor trouble. She has a tendency to jump into UPS trucks, guest cars and neighbors.
Tomorrow's word is BEAUTY

Good Evening Everyone!
I haven't signed up for the in-between yet but will be shortly so I don't forget.
Today has been a very busy cold day. Did my 3 Mile HIIT video, made the cookie dough and have it refrigerated, went shopping for the icing I need for Saturday among several other items. Got home in time for lunch and to get ready for work. The residents had beef stew, a bun, mushroom soup, and apple crisp for dessert. Tomorrow is my first day of training for the breakfast and lunch shift. Have to be there for 7 am. It's going to be a long one. Not sure I will make it in tomorrow. But will try.2 -

Good Morning Airport Friends:
I hope you are all having a good morning. Today is suppose to have a winter storm. Joe and I are going to head to his parents tonight and hopefully be able to beat the winter storm out there. It is suppose to start today. I am nervous about going up there. I am sure we will be alright though. The winter storm is suppose to start this morning. So I hope by dinner time it will not be to terribly bad. I do have to take my medicine though.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - I agree. My meeting is Monday. So we will see how it goes. I am definitely withdrawing from the board. I just can't anymore. I am glad you understand where I am coming from.
@cormierannie - We are suppose to get some snow. I will be working from home tomorrow since the weather is suppose to be really bad.
@LindieMaeP - I feel good today. It was just a momentary stress. I am good now. I went into work. I was so tired but work up more throughout the day. We are just learning so much more about each other. I hope Amigo feels better soon.
@NovemberGail - I have been having trouble sleeping lately. With not really a strong reason why. I did not think it could be the adrenalin rush from everything. I use google maps to make sure I don't get lost, otherwise I would totally get lost.
@Kurtize - This relationship book really just talks about you and the other person. Like how you feel about things the other person does or doesn't do.
@CSEGUIN2 - I am sure you will make it. I am glad they are training you for other shifts. That means you are doing something right and they want you available for all shifts.

good afternoon everyone! it is a beautiful sunny day here today. my daughter says hi to all. she is working at her part time job after school today. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i went for a short run this morning and i really enjoyed it. i went for a walk a while ago and i feel great! i will be dancing later on. i did go and see the movie last night with my friend. the movie was pretty good. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.1

@Tabatha_Cain Hope work was good. As long as I go slowly even in a bad storm, I get there. LOL I kinda giggle IF THERE'S NO HUMAN DAMAGE ,, when a SPEED BUNNY Goes by me, and later is sitting in a snowbank or a field. I'll ONLY GIGGLE if they are outside of the vehicle and easily walking around it and NO ONE else is involved. I'm older, I've been in a very bad accident and NEVER Want to be again!! So i do slowly. I leave in Plenty of time especially in a storm (Actually I do my best to not travel now in one, but if I HAVE to I will). LOL We are about GUARANTEED to have a storm on Dec 14th in the afternoon and the 20th early AM travel time. I have 2 Dr appointments I absolutely need, so it's a sure bet,, LOL the law of averages, IT WILL STORM badly. Likely ICE too! LOL We'll see.
@Ceriusly1 ,, WAVING!! Frantically just cause it's always GREAT to see you!! LOL For others @Ceriusly1 and Often see each other online (not in person though SOMEDAY MAYBE!! We just NEVER KNOW!). She's a great person as we all well know.

Good afternoon teammies it's been a bit of a busy day, trying to straighten out yet another online order that has gone awry - well at least this is only 20.00 worth of and not 86 x 2 so it will be straightened out as this time I left a message on their FB site.
First off, @DLBEASYRIDER oh oh oh I so enjoyed your videos but the one with you and Serenity is BOSS !!! Play on words eh, I enjoyed it and so did Amigo he got up when I did to dance to the tune and shake thangs up a bit. lol You are very talented - glad you are adding that as a means of support for yourself and others too.
@Dianedoessmiles1 no need for me to do videos, you already got the best of the best with @DLBEASYRIDER and I do my best just to enjoy them. It was a gorgeous day out there and I enjoyed my morning walk and now I only have to do a little bit of exercise to finish off the day. Plus I got my study for Saturday done too.
@Tabatha_Cain - enjoy your weekend, and do be safe out there - if it is too bad, stay home, stay safe and warm and comfy.

And it just doesn't seem right without a Billie story. Tonight she got closed into a room by mistake with the door only opened a crack. Our newest member, Joey, the tuxedo cat, went to the door and kept meowing. That alerted one of the sisters that something was happening. She found the two nose to nose.1 -

Today has been a long day after only 5 hrs of sleep. But it was a great day. Learned an easy way to make over easy eggs and how to use the fryer. For breakfast the residents had cereal, easy over eggs, bacon, and toast. For lunch the residents had poutine and soup and a choice of apple, blueberry or cherry pie for dessert. For dinner the residents had chicken stir-fry, rice, soup and fruit cocktail for dessert. As I was at work from 7 am till 6:30 pm with an hour break between 1 and 2 pm no official exercise today. Now to go to bed to do it all over again tomorrow.1 -

My friend and I were roommates and we'd go into such a hard fit of laughter. That was about the time CHURCH LADY!! An all time favorite!! LOLOL TY TY TY TY for the giggles! Good Morning Airport Friends:
I hope you are having a great morning. Today I am working from home due to weather conditions being so bad. We made it safely the 32 miles north to Joe's parents. It is closer to his work and there for safer for him when he has a shorter distance to drive. I am working from home here and I know a lot of my office people will be working from home too since they all work a ways out from the office.
@cormierannie - I would love to have some sunny weather. That would be good. Right now we have about 10 inches of snow and the road is really snow covered. My Fiance is driving on the road to work.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - I giggle too when they whiz past me and end up in the ditch. Joe is determined to get to work this morning. He left an hour before his shift started for a 20 minute drive due to the road conditions. He is driving really slow but he is going to make it there safely. That is all I care about. I am sure given that when you need or want something badly things get in the way there will probably be some weather related issues trying to stop you.
@LindieMaeP - I am working from home. Joe however had to go into work. They don't have any work from home positions for what he does. I hope you get the charges taken care of.
@NovemberGail - I think we can definitely enjoy the snow here. It is super pretty outside. But still snowing. We did drive safely and we got here ok. We will figure something out for date night tonight.
@CSEGUIN2 - Wow that is a long time to be at work. Glad you got everything done though. Atleast you got a break. There was a time when I would work those shifts and not get breaks. Those are over with and done with though.

good morning everyone! it is a beautiful cool day here today. my daughter says hi to all. she has the day off school today, so she is working at her part time job. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i did my strength training workout this morning and i really enjoyed it. i went for a walk a while ago and i feel great! i will be dancing later on. a friend of mine is helping me around my place tomorrow. i have a few things that need to be done, like fixing my portable fan, that i do not know how to do.this friend of mine is very handy at fixing things and at reaching very high areas without much effort. my friend is very tall and can reach high areas without a lot of effort. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.2

We have about 3 inches of light fluffy snow..forecast was for 1! ..it is beautiful and cold!
So guess I have a love/hate relationship with Winter..it is so lovely but the cold is harder for me to tolerate now than it was a few years ago. Thank heavens for the cozy wood stove .
Making a big pot of chicken and noodles for supper..working on an afghan and kicking back for the rest of the day.

Good afternoon all, hope your day is going good. Saw the dr. the shot is working but not as well as I hoped. but my plan and his will be to take muscle relaxers, get back to exercising regularly and in a few months take the shot again. You are allowed 3 a year so I have planned it out. Luckily I don't have the same pain I had, it is there but different, more a nuisance kind of pain.
I caught up on all the post and enjoyed your video's @DLBEASYRIDER. I especially enjoyed the celebration one you did. I forgot about that song and I really like it. I played it all the time and it was on a radio a lot when the 49er's won their first superball. It brought back good memories and I found it on you tube so I can play it any time again.

@Dianedoessmiles1 ~ Everyone has trouble with Cricket's name (because I first started calling him Muffin).
Billy was simply a brat today. She was already giving me clues when I first let her out. She wouldn't stay in front of my cottage, but stayed with the one next door. Then this evening, every time I tried to put the leash on her, she refused to budge. So then I thought she would stay by my side since it was close to dinnertime and I had treats. She ended up getting honked at with me chasing her down the road. Then she goes to the neighbor's to harass their dog. Finally, I got her to follow me in the woods and hoped no one was trespassing for deer. WHEW!
@Kurtize: There are three other people I know that get the shots in their knees. It seems like the pain lessens the longer it is in. Cold weather doesn't help with joint pain. Love your quote by Amit Ray. Hope you don't mind if I share it on our inspiration posts. It is so pertinent in today's climate.
@Katiecondy1 ~ I can smell that chicken soup from here! We have such bitter temperatures and no snow. Somehow snow usually makes it feel warmer. You always sound so cozy in your home with the critters and family and making afghans. Good to read your post!
It was a nice, slow day. Got some light cleaning finished and walked for awhile in the fresh, cold outside.

OH MY someone has a love affair with mushrooms and I thought I was the only one who was crazy about them, however, I only eat crimini mushrooms and I am happy with those. !! Look at those beauties eh !!
My daughter and granddaughter have their first craft fair tomorrow. My sister is taking them and has taken some of her own crafttoo, I reminded her to make sure she can sit otherwise she will be in trouble and I told her to take her cane and USE it... Then on the 26th there is a Holiday Craft Fair for students so I will go and walk around, wont' buy anything though but will drop by granddaugher's stall and see how things be going. I can't go tomorrow, I have my Congregation meeting and then I have to go to London Drugs to get the 2nd part of my order that was not processed right - rains it pours, no more online ordering!!
@Dianedoessmiles1 so glad you got out for d2d and RVs today, so important - I was a zoom baby today - well that runny nose and throat issue will do that !! BUT I got a good walk in after I took the bus to my sister's I walked home. She went to MacDonald's for her dinner and I went home and had fries and hotdogs, no bun ...oh and coleslaw - something else I ahve a love affair with lol. I ran out of envelopes so might get some over the weekend, or not... no hurry.
@Katiecondy1 how do you make your chicken soup? I have never been successful at that and I do believe it is the broth ... or me, one or the other. Hope it turned out good and you made lots and lots !
@NovemberGail Oh that Billie doggie, oh my she be an old girl one day and then these shananagans will pass for sure ... course then you will miss the rascal in her !!
@Tabatha_Cain did you arrive ok? I think I read that you did, boy Southern ON is sure getting hit by that snowstorm. Not sure how my SiL in Detroit is doing, or my brother and them across the river ... don't miss it, love BC even with our cool temps.. Don't miss the banana belt at all ... Hope your significant other was able to drive to work and back ok too !

Well I need to go check on Amigo, he's doing better - today he even ventured out into the hall way about half way to Natasha's and then went back to the door and just sat there, did not meow but new I was behind him. Sadly we see a boney rear of his body and his spine is boney too - I will weigh him tomorrow and see if he has lost any weight. Gene's call to take him to the vet if needed, but Gene thinks he will be ok.
