Good afternoon everyone hope your having a good day.
@Tabatha_Cain what is shipt orders? Is that like Avon or Tupperware or something like that? It is good to have extra money come in, but I strongly recommend you keep a small nest egg account for emergencies. Not sure about the banking regulation there but here, if soemthing happened to a join account owner, the other person would not be able to access the funds, the account would be frozen until the will or estate was established, so that might be something for you to look into as well. I used to work in a credit union and I remember a member who worked there passed away and her husband was not able to access the joint account to take care of all things needed, as if his partner passing away was not enough stress. She was a wonderful person, I still think of her from time to time. How did today go ?
@Patti241 hello to you too !
@bookieNJ I used to play pet rescue and bejeweled and got so high on them, I stopped playing pet rescue and bejewled changed and I did not like all the add and all the other junk that Electronic what ever added to it when it bought out pogo. Loved playing at pogo.com!! Long time ago,now I don't play much of anything!
well I hope today was a good hump day for you all - half way to the weekend now!!

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today was a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Got my walk in, did step-ups, and inclined push-ups. Also did dishes, laundry and cleaned some other areas in the kitchen. I am determined to force myself to make a routine. Working on finding my Son a therapist. Hard to find one taking patients. Today the residents had ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, soup and rice krispie square. They had to wait an extra half hour for dinner as I didn't notice the oven was set to 200 instead of 350. Oh well. They know it's worth the wait. Tomorrow at work might be interesting. We'll wait and see.

@Novembergail,,, AWESOME you got to eat out!! COOL to have a nice treat once in a great while. WOOHOO!!! LOL Awww Poor Cricket!! We see less treats coming to you!!! Izzy LOVES those treats!! SIGH!!
@Tabatha_Cain ,, Perchance do they have a canopy for the gazebo? Or something?
@Patti241 ,, HI Patti!! Are you all warmer than the normal?
@Katiecondy1,, Awww aren't they ADORABLE the way they eat the food they beg from us? I think so. Do you have any prairie dogs where you are? There were TONS of them in Aurora, but we loved them!! Where we lived though the lawn was very very well maintained though we never had to lift a finger. We paid rent there, but each townhouse was privately owned. We CAN have snow this time of year on the coast also, but Fri through Sun we'll be near if not hitting 70. HUH??? IT'S NOVEMBER NOT SEPTEMBER!! LOL You KNOW Miss Katie I am NOT impressed. LOL a few years ago we had snow on the ground for a little bit.
@Kurtize,,, can you call to see they got the paperwork? I was told awhile back the pulmonologist didn't have the calendar open. So I called the other day, I sweet talked to the clerk by asking "how are you?" She was okay "Oh that's so good, you know we worry about all of you in the medical field." Told her I was looking for an appointment,,, LOL I was told it'd be Jan to even March before I got one, but since I was nice to this gal, it's now Dec 20th!! WOOHOO!!!
@Bookienj,,, for the longest time (Well the Spring I think when we heard of Wordle)we'd play every night, we were both pretty much matched on solving the words. I always start off with the same word.
@Lindiemaep ,,,, I need a friend or GD to my bank account so they can do anything they'd like. They both would never ever rip me off. So I have no worries there!! Always check with the bank, credit union about "what if I die" thingie. Regulations are always changing.
@Cseguin2 ,,,, A routine is always worth the while if we can do it. Hope you can find a therapist for your S it's not at all easy now. Would a group help in the meantime? If it was geared towards his issues and ability? YUMMY UMMY food, I am sure they did not mind when they saw it!! Hope things at work run smoothly tomorrow!
Today a friend and I visited someone we know from our congregation setting up a new IPad along with doing things to her older one to make her life easier. I do NOT like Apple products, yet sadly LOL I understand them (because I used to help her on hers so much in the past) got it all set. We put new cases on them too. I had planned being there for 2 hours, we were there for almost 4!! I came home and was about DONE!! Oh I am so thankful for my laZBoy recliner !!! Also my bed is Sleep number adjustable bed!!

@katiecondy1: Good to hear from you! I love squirrels. In college they would take the food from my fingers. We don't encourage them here so they won't think about getting up in the rafters for the winter.

With this great weather -- in the 70's -- I worked out in the field finding countless cedars. They get mowed over every year and then they keep getting fatter and spread out. Since it gets harder on the mowers, I wanted to get out there and see if I could get rid of about six tall buckets full. Billie passed the time making several large holes that needed to be patched up before I came in for the day. She keeps me busy.

Will share my costume for Halloween. My niece did up my hair. She always puts a smile on my face.

@Dianedoessmiles1 it is a "LAZYGURL RECLINER" and tonight Amigo has to settle for the foot pad since I am in the seat area he wants even though he had it afternoon lol he will get extra treats tonight. I am rubbing my fingers, playing the world's smallest violynn for ya since you hadda deal with an apple product or two!! Fantastic you helped dispite your dislike and you know I love apple products!! Neener Neener!! I had a huge blonde moment, I got the wrong size labels for something I was working on (AP this month) and now I gotta go get the right size. 😕 I will find someone to gift these other ones or find another use for them. I ordered two mattrice enclosures but there is a manufacturing issue so I canceled the order and this weekend I will see what I can get elsewhere!
@NovemberGail your hair sure looks Purdy!! Oh that Billy boy you gotta love em!!

@NovemberGail -Your hair looks so awesome!! she did a great job on it. mmmcan you send those cedars this way./? I will let them grow in my fence row . We have mostly Juniper and some Spruce down here in the valley, up higher on the hills the forest is slowly turning over to Fir and Spruce with the Ponderosa dying out . The beetle kill did a lot of the Ponderosa in and it seems they do not grow as rapidly as the Fir and Spruce do so they get crowded out. It will take generations to complete the change but there will be a day when Ponderosa forests will just be a memory. The Bottle Brush Fir is an interesting tree but they are not as sturdy as my beloved Ponderosa's. Cedar is great however it grows higher on the mtn here unless planted. Sounds like you had a busy day..Thank you for the word of the day I always look forward to that , it often rings true for that day for me.
@LindieMaeP-ok I confess I did slip Amigo the number for the ASPCA..imagine not letting the poor creature have his most comfy preferred area!! The indignity of it is astounding!!! tee hee ..evil laugh!!
Thanks for the pics , beautiful clouds and impressive kitty glares!!
@Dianedoessmiles1-sorry kiddo no snow here in the valley. I remember years ago I got some tourist type ads for the Pueblo area...it is in what is called the Banana Belt..the snows and rains go round us. I do not like that..but no one asked me..so reckon I will have to live with it. The ski areas are making snow in order to start their seasons. I think that the seasons have slipped forward a bit and the Real Winter will arrive a month later than expected at least. That messes up the snow skiing and such for holidays..but thas why they have those zillion dollar machines to try to top Mother Nature and create what she is not giving us. I spent too long reading articles and comparing this phone and that phone until my head was confused. I did research why folks like the Iphone..I still don't understand it..but if they like it..then more power to them..I will stick with my Android. What set this off is I am getting a new phone tomorrow..been going back and forth between a Samsung 13A and a Motorola G 22..I think I have my mind made up, unless I change it before I get to the phone place.
Wishing everyone a good nights rest..headed that way myself...zzzzzzzzzztime!

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all doing well. I started the morning in a grumpy mood but I am gradually getting better. I feel better. I guess what I was angry about is not that big of a deal as it will sort itself out. Last night was my Fiance's Dad's birthday. So we ate out. I did well not over eating but everything was so salty that now I am swollen in my hands. I can see it and feel it. I need to some how get the salt out of my system.

@katiecondy1 - Cute lunch Companion. It is probably good that he got most of your fries. Although fries are good. It is still kinda warm here too. I am not looking forward to when the cold gets here.
@Kurtize - That is good that you did not run out, and good that you only have a little left.
@LindieMaeP - Shipt is where people order groceries online through a certain website and then the order gets sent out and I claim it. Then I go and grocery shop their order and deliver it. With our joint account I am able to access if something were to happen and Joe can access if something happens to me.
@CSEGUIN2 - I hope you are able to find your son a therapist. They are hard to come by. I am sure the residents did not mind waiting the extra hour. The food does sound yummy.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - I don't think they have a canopy for the gazebo itself. It is a city park. I really hope the canopy will fit so we can get married in the park. That is so nice of you to help someone in your congregation. You are so nice. My Fiance has an apple phone and I love his phone. I wish I could have an apple but I just started purchasing my android in March. So I still have a bit to pay on it
@NovemberGail - The weather has been great. I am loving it. I hope this means that winter will not be so bad. You hair looks wonderful.

Well it is time to get some food. I hope you all have a great day.

@NovemberGail ,, LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR HAIR!! WOW!! Your niece did a most excellent job!!! LOLOL the pic of the cat is that one of yours? I should go look in the park for a feather for Izzy. NO DOUBT she'd love it!! The kitty before her, Wincey (I think you were on the Dawggie team when I had her) LOVED them. I would hunt for them even in the winter, thankfully the park is across the street and of course there are MANY birds, so it's easy enough.
@Lindiemaep ,, I am joining @Katiecondy1 ,, Amigo dear,, here's the number the ASPCA!!! Izzy looked it up,, shoot no, Izzy knows the number by HEART!! They have told her "Dear Izzy just because you can't have treats on command EVERY TIME does not mean you are abused." She threaded it with her claws. CATS!!! That's great you are doing AP this month!!! I'll do extra hours, our CO comes towards the end of the month. Last month was one of my more recent better ones. ALL Dr offices should be so booked we can't get in!! Gives us more time for things we WANT TO DO!!!
@Katiecondy1 ,,,, Oh no snow here yet either!! Its to warm over this weekend for them to fire off the "snow guns" but it'll be soon. Our average this time of year is 53 and 36 at night. Today 61 Fri 65 Sat 67 (HUH?) Sun 68 (WHAT??) Mon 69 (WHY!!???) they are hoping we'll hit 70 for a record. Tues 52 (MORE LIKE IT!) LOL from Monday to Tuesday,, that's a drop 18 degrees. Some nights next week are cold enough for SNOW, but it's not in the forecast,, yet. Which phone will you get? I have a Samsung S10 I really like it, but YO!!! Paying 750 for a phone ON SALE IS NOT what I ever thought I'd do!! CRAZY the amount they want for these things!! VERY CRAZY!! And ,, ANd ,, AND it can't even do the dishes!! Next time I am going with one that either is a lot cheaper (I've lost this one 3 times, Thankfully each time it was returned ,,, that's dang scary!) or that CAN DO THE DISHES!!
@Tabatha_Cain,, lots of water will help it get out of your system and of course if you can eat less salty things today that'd help it faster. Hopefully as the day goes on the swelling will go down fast. Sorry the day was blahhh at first, glad it's starting to lift. I had also purchased this one also through my phone service. SURE WISH I HADN'T!! I THINK I am close to paying it off. I'll RUN from them!! Its a very good company (US Cellular) but the place I did business with I didn't realize is a spin off (??) they are a part of US Cellular, but they aren't the REAL US Cellular, not sure if that makes sense?? The REAL office never would of twisted their words the way the knock off associated place did.
@Patti241,,, YO YO!! That's to much for this chick this time of year!! Though if I lived in a place of good weather I'd want 70 except for the summer 75 with NO Humidity! LOL

Good morning everyone it's going to be another good day here today. Rain is coming so I will get out later before the rain and get a small walk in at some point. Late night last night as Gene's got a body rash that got worse and we went to the drugstore that was open till midnight - in the old neighbourhood - and got the benadryl - he went to work today so I am hoping the benadryl worked. It was a late night for him as well - I texted him this morning, but did not hear anything back from him yet. Pretty sure he needs to see a real doctor and not doctor google ... most likely that will be a discussion tonight. He thought he might take the day off from work, but I kinda figured he would go in. His sister, my oldest daughter is a nurse and he sent her pictures of the rash in various places and she told him to get an antihistamine - so we checked with the pharmacist and he said the best one would need a prescription, but hard head soft but son will not go to see a real doctor - he just so distrusts them now. Anyway it was almost 11 by the time I got to bed last night. I got up at 5:50 !!
@Dianedoessmiles1 and @KatieCondy1 the Amigo file has been reviewed by the ASPCA and they have recommended that Amigo learn to share and improve his social skills by sharing the recliner since he is a single cat and very spoiled with treats and food, being 17 lbs, he's not hard done by at all LOLOLOLOL right now he is fast asleep on my bed on his blankie right on the dog's face, his favourite place LOLOLOLOL
@Dianedoessmiles1 yes AP this month, today working from home, and tomorrow on zoom - our CO visit is next week and I have a full adgenda and I am hoping this cold is gone gone gone out of the ball park so I can go to the meetings at least once a day plus the Pioneer meeting I get to attend on Wed at 3 PM - New CO so looking forward to getting to know them. AND you KNOW I LOVE Iphones - I have had others but I do prefer IPHONE except for THIS PROGRAM - MFP sucks for Iphone ... it's just rediculous that the Iphone can not do the same things like post pictures on this site - I hope the upgrade today fixes it ...
@Tabatha_Cain oh I am sorry to hear you woke up a bit grumpy, but at least you recognized it and are working on it so you can change that mood - we all can when we realise we wake up not so happy - I agree with Diane drink lots of water - I know some foods I eat are high in sodium so I tend to drink more water then. I hope the swelling goes down soon - I so dislike that feeling - in the face, hands, feet ... sucks right ?
@Patti241 Hello Hello how was your day ?
One more day of planning meals and then it is OVER !!! It has been a learning experience, and I have been tracking the whole time which is unusual for me. I decided tomorrow's breakfast should be grilled cheese sammy and yogurt with flax seed, blue berries and also an egg omlet with mushrooms, onion, bacon bits ... now to figure out which bread I will use ... off to figure that out, have a great day today all !!

good afternoon everyone! it is a mostly foggy day here today. my daughter says hi to all. yesterday she went on a field trip with her classmates to see something called the philharmonic orchestra. she had a lot of fun! she is working at her part time job after school today. tomorrow she is going to an open house for a university called Trent University here in Ontario, Canada. she is going with some of her friends. they are getting a ride there from one of her friend's mom's. she is going to at least one other open house this month for universities, if not more. there was one she wanted to go to, but she is working at her part time job on that day and cannot go. she will go to see that one on another day. she told me that there will be more tours and open houses in the spring of next year. this month alone, there are several universities having open houses. my daughter is getting two awards today at school. she is also on the honour roll at school, too. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i went for a short run this morning and i really enjoyed it. i went for a walk a while ago and i feel great! in a while i will be taking some extra food to the local grocery store's food bank drop box. i like to help others whenever i can. i will be doing some dancing later on. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.

The kitty is Catawissa with a turkey feather found on the property. The feathers are so strong that the only thing that tears them up is Billie, when she gets jealous of the attention that the cats are getting. Please, whatever you do, DO NOT give my animals the number to the ASPCA. Billie would be calling all the time about the cats and vice-versa.

Our weather is still unseasonably warm. I'm working out in short sleeves. The breeze is making the day manageable. When the cold weather comes, our bodies are not going to be ready.

My Thursday night menu: salmon patties, baked sweet potatoes, broccoli and canned pineapple (which ended up becoming banana splits. So far this is my easiest meal to prepare. Next week we'll see how the spaghetti turns out.

    Tomorrow's word is BEAUTY.

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today was another beautiful day once the fog moved out. So glad I got my planned exercise done. Also studied, finished the dishes and got some more laundry done. My Son showed up unannounced for the weekend while I was at work. Oh well no big deal extra time with him. The residents had pulled pork on a bun, homemade mac and cheese, California mix veg, mushroom soup, and butterscotch or vanilla pudding.

@lindiemaep ,,, Hope S is okay today, that he got through work okay. UGH on having a cold!!! I "give" them away to my friends (LOL not nice of me, but) and I feel better!! It'll be nice if you can do all you wish, certainly very worth the while, if you don't ,, there's really nothing you can do to speed it along. I HATE MEAL PLANNING!! Oh I did it for the most part, but I DID NOT enjoy it. If it was plan how many calories approximately per meal I'd be FINE with that!
@Cormierannie,,, such an exciting time for your D!! The fun of it all, but it also comes with stress. They are so happy, and then so unhappy and back and forth. You'll be there for her no matter what she decides.
@Kurtize ,, ALRIGHT!! DOING A HAPPY DANCE FOR YOU!!! Oh I sure hope this will help you!! PLEASE PLEASE let us know. It'll be Tuesday before you know it!! LOLOLOL On the Friday calling!!!
@Novembergail ,,, HAHAHAHAHAHA Calling your place when you are NOT HOME so that the animals can have their fun with the "The DOG DID" thing ,, and poor Billie, well Billie will be GANGED UP ON!! I got my appointment for Dec 20th!! Instead of Jan to March!! I am so happy!! MAYBE we'll finally know why I am short of breath!! That'll be so ROARSOME!!! The warmness is spreading up here over the weekend, from Fri through Monday with the possibility of "highest record" being broken, a true weatherman's dream. Near 70 or even over 70.
@Cseguin2 ,, Oh I LOVE FOG!!! It's so mysterious!! Hope you and your S have a great weekend!! OH WOW! NO DOUBT they MUST LOVE having you work there, and the residents ZERO DOUBT love you too!!

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all having a good morning. I am doing a lot better today. Still swollen but doing good. We have finally decided on a venue and put in a request to have the wedding there. So we are going to see. Once they have checked the dates they will get back with us and we can pay the deposit for the venue. We do have the wedding fund up and going and money into the fund. So there is at least that.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - I get that. I hope you are able to get out of your contract and get a different phone if you chose to. I think after a year of paying on the phone you are able to replace the old phone with something new. My next phone will be an iphone. Not going to mess with Android anymore. I really like Joe's iphone.
@LindieMaeP - I am sorry Gene is being hard headed. I agree that a real doctor would probably be a better thought than doctor google. The swelling feeling does stink. I feel like my ring is too tight even though it is not and I can still get it off fairly easy
@cormierannie - Sounds like your daughter is all set to get into a great university. I wish my son would go to college. He has decided he is not going.
@Kurtize - I little cooler would be ok. We are already in the 60's so not much cooler yet.
@NovemberGail - I agree. Once the cold weather hits we are not going to be able to handle it. This warm weather will not last much longer I am sure of that.

Well it is time to get ready for work. I hope you have a great day.

@Tabatha_Cain ,, hopefully the venue will work out and if not, something else will!! My absolute MOST FAVORITE wedding I went to, was actually very simple (though large over 100 people at the reception ,, 300 attended the wedding). They kept the foods simple, decorations, they had recorded music (they asked some for suggestions). Why was it the best? They were so relaxed, not trying to stick by anything, but the time of the rental place. Funny with phones how we usually like either Apple or Android and I SUPPOSE there are the few who can enjoy both (notice not use both, I CAN EASILY use both, and I am always on call LOL when my Apple friends get stuck on things, I do not want to use them myself, but I easily understand them). Love that we get choices. In some areas of the world they could never afford the things we do.
@Patti241 ,, OH NO DOUBT we'll enjoy it too!! Though I am so GLAD we are not heading into summer again! YO THAT WAS A ROUGH ONE!! Waiting to see if the cold air will hurt me like the hot air did.
@Cormierannie ,, Are you right on the water? Do you see sea smoke? This beach is near by where I live, very near.
    SEA SMOKE!! I LOVE IT!

@LindieMaeP -that makes sense! There were a couple word games i used to play (word cookies I think) but the ads got so bad there were times I couldn't do much.
@CSEGUIN2 -aw I hope you can find someone soon for her. Between finding someone who takes my insurance and is accepting new patients, it took a while to find someone. Then we found out they only take them for 6-8 weeks then switch to something else-we skipped that b/c the therapist said we were good (been a few years since that).
@Dianedoessmiles1 -yup I would too. I don't remember it now but it started with a "c". My younger daughter used to play it in homeroom every day as a class which was cool.

Update on the 51 yr old -
Gene is back from the doctor's they say it is an "alergy" and will refer him to a dermitologist and also gave him a prescription for something stronger - a cream. NO idea what kind of alergy it is. I am thinking dust mites but could be wrong. He also got a ticket for using his phone to take a picture of the prescription while at a red light - so he already paid that will not dispute it, he says he should have known better. That was a 400+ lesson.... ouchies. He will pick up his prescription tomorrow. No other information was shared at this time.
Still a rainy afternoon here, so slowly getting my exercise in. I'll do more after dinner - steps are good though !!

@Tabatha_Cain I hope you get the venue you want, i was thinking of the last wedding I went to - not that I go to a lot, but it was my neice's wedding and their theme was quite simple but strange too - the groom came in on his dirt bike (he did water racing too ) and the bride came out of the house with her dad and they did the sand bottles as well. The reception was pretty cool - it was their own lake front property and they had a photo both with various props you could use to take pictures, it was a lot of fun. They also had wine bottles - red and white with one of their wedding photos on it. I still have them - they are empty of course LOL I am sure you will get lots of suggestions to help you with what you two want to do.
@cormierannie I am sure you daughter will have fun visiting all the universities and other college sites to decide where she wants to go, is she going to specialise in anything ? My granddaughter is taking Urban Forrestry out at UBC ( University of British Columbia) and is in her second year there. Glad the birdies are doing ok!!
@Kurtize sure hope you are ok - those tornatos are nothing to sneeze about - even the tail end of them can be dangerous !!

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today has been a beautiful, busy and productive day. Went for my walk, went to the bank to check my balances (frustrating I can't do it on my phone), cashed in alcohol bottles and cans and picked up a few needed groceries. Also played a game of Deer in the head lights, took a nap and did my calf raises and inclined push-ups. For dinner my Son and I made shrimp alfredo, coleslaw, and cheesey garlic bread. Tomorrow is another busy day off.

@Kurtize, hope all down south are okay!! It looked nasty on the news for such a large area.
@Bookienj,, when you play a free app, do you get all kinds of downloads without permission of just pictures of ads from a game it's advertising? DRIVES ME INSANE! !LOL It's not a far run.
@LindiemaeP,,, Will they send S to an allergist unless they knew what caused it or is it like 1 time thing so no need to? I am allergic to IZZY!!! Indeed!! Happened in my foolish early 50's, I had Wincey at the time, the day she passed I was so broken hearted I went immediately to the shelter where Izzy adopted ME! I brought her home telling her "I'll take very good care of you, you'll not want for anything (other than going outside! LOL), you'll never be hungry or have a dirty kitty box, but kitty, I'll not love you as deeply I did Wincey. It just hurts to much." SURE SURE!! That last bit,,,, she has me so wrapped around her paw!

    Good evening!

    Tomorrow's word is: ENTHUSIASM

Today my workout included raking leaves, cutting down bush honeysuckle, hauling it out of the woods and then putting it in the back of the mule and using it to fill a ravine. With all that my weight is going up because I was given Halloween candy and not enough portion control.

I got a SamsungA13-5G...I shopped around , looked at so many phones and read so many reviews that my eyes were crossed and brain fizzled. Narrowed it down to Motorola 5G or this one. According to reviews the portrait camera on this one is better..that was my deciding factor. Been a Motorola user for years and always liked them, but started out with a LG..then a Samsung..then Motorola. I shop online for "open" phones...half the cost usually and most will accept any carriers SIM card. The price was the same between the two phones..so that made the decision even tougher. I highly recommend buying an open phone..that way you can take it with you to any carrier of your choice!! I ordered a cover and my screen protectors today..again the aftermarket places are less expensive , offer nicer items so that's where I go.
Today..I wish I had stood in bed , as my son used to say. Just a crazy day..broke my rule and took Tammy to town after noon. I have a hard and fast rule..no town on Fri or weekends after 9 AM..sigh..but yeah a lil pleading and I gave in. Much to her regret!! We had a snappy time, not even sure what over but we made like snapping turtles at each other. I was still glaring when she came back to the car and apologized..another short time and we were laughing..but it got a lil intense for a while. The ole..I can put you outta the car and you can walk home! ..that crossed my mind, fortunately did not drop outta my mouth!! but I suspect it was all over my face!! Then over half of Pueblo were in the store and they were all in a rush, fortunately most of them were pleasant so I did get to give away a few smiles!!
The rest of the day just kind of rambled along..not much going on but managed to stay busy..
Now soon to be headed to bed..Bet I sleep good tonight..use a lot of energy being grouchy did ya know that!! Maybe that is why so many grouchy people are so skinny!! I always figured it was cause no one wanted to feed them..tee hee..
Get your weights in for your teams and let's make the next week be a Bell Ringer of a Week!!
