    Good Evening Everyone!

Today has been cold but sunny. All my usual routine stuff done. Even did a little extra studying. I am working on getting to bed by 9 pm every night except Wednesday and Thursday. Those two days the goal is 10 pm as soon as my shows are done. Everyday is a struggle to keep calories in the range I want. But I figure if I can at least eat less junk everyday it will slowly stop like before. I tried to stop cold turkey again. This time didn't work out so well.

Hello everyone, it's been a busy day today, had my congregation meeting in the morning and then went to get some potting soil for some plant cuttings that have sprouted roots - I found doing them in water works better then just sticking the cut strand in potted soil. Then Gene went shopping and brought home all kinds of food and veggies he wanted prepped so I did the green leaf lettuce for him and he chopped his onion, fried up some hamburger and added cream corn (yuk, so dislike that stuff, but hey he's eating it not me ) and now the kitchen is all cleaned up. Took a look at the Genie Air Fryer - dual basket which I like - same size as the one I have but two baskets instead of one and I like their layer basket better. Anyway be a while before I can afford that ... so will keep using the older one which is considered the #2 in air fryers. Not bad. I never knew that ... now it's relax and figure out tomorrow's meals.. today's meals were
    1. Caturday breakfast - bacon bits, eggs sunny side up, toast and since I was out of hash browns, some tatter gems oh and onion in the mix.
    2. Lunch - chicken and peas and corn - NON CREAM
    3. Dinner - curried lamb pie with left over tatter gems and a bit of Avocado Ranch dressing picture below:

Well I hope you all had a good day too and enjoyed your Saturday and enjoy your Sunday as well. Not sure if it will rain here or not...

@Tabatha_Cain I'm glad you were able to get meds and some relief from the migraines. It's not really surprising that the doctor had no recommendations for alternatives to meds that might help prevent or lessen them in the future. It really seems most doctors nowadays just push the pills or send to specialists. I guess the days of the family doctor that addressed and took care of almost everything are in the past. Hopefully once your stress reduces a little the migraines will stay at bay.
@bookieNJ We live in West Central Florida and there is actually baseball year round.
@LindieMaeP Your meals look wonderful. I don't think I've ever eaten peas and corn mixed together. Don't know why, I like both very much. Do you make your potato gems in the air fryer from fresh cut potatoes or are they frozen? I recently got a smart oven with an air fryer and have just started experimenting with it. So far I think I've only air fried regular and sweet potato fries from fresh potatoes, but I've used the other features everyday since setting it up.

Yesterday did not start off well as we did not receive a message that the time of GS's baseball game had been changed from 11:30am to 9:00am until a few minutes before 9. If I really hurry, It takes about 90 mins to get both of us ready to go out, so the game would have virtually been over by the time we would have gotten there, found a parking spot and got hubs all set up with the wheelchair. It was a good game, they did win and Luke got 2 out of 3 hits. We'll try again Thursday evening. It all went downhill from there. I was up super late so I was extremely tired, stressed and a bit emotional... weighed in and was up a lb, sliced open both my index fingers while preparing dinner. So what did I do??? Nope, didn't exercise to reduce the stress level like I normally do. Instead I attacked the sweets, and I do mean attacked!! I think I ate about 3000 cals in an hour. When will I ever learn that all that does is increase the stress? Oh well, it's a new day and hopefully things will go smoother today... maybe I can remain in control.

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is a church day and cleaning day. I should have cleaned yesterday but I did not. I was not feeling it. I have to do better about cleaning. Someone has to clean. I know Joe would help if I asked but I don't feel like it should be his responsibility considering it is mostly my son causing the mess. I wish my 18 year old son knew how to pick up after himself. For the most part he does ok but he leaves a lot of stuff all over the place.

@cormierannie - I too am working on laundry. I have a lot to do. We will get it done though. I have probably 4 loads to do.
@CSEGUIN2 - Just keep trying. Eventually you will get there. It is ok
@LindieMaeP - Your food all looked amazing. It is great.
@Catwmncat - That happens a lot. I tend to over eat during the weekends. I am hoping to get the migraines under control. So far they are every day going.

Well it is time to get some food. I hope you all have a great day.

    Happy Sunday Morning!

@cormierannie: I decided to start my day off with dancing. How much fun. It's taken me three weeks to really get the feel of "Boot Scoot Boogie" dance moves. I feel like I'm flying! Now I'm ready to take on the world. (LOL)

@Catwmncat: I could live with baseball season year round. I used to make it to a STL Cardinal's game once a year. Loved the old stadium but the new one isn't bad. I like that they created a village around it.

@LindieMaeP: You and Cat can cook for me anytime. Your dinner looks delicious.

@Dianedoessmiles1: Thank you to you and all the team leaders for putting together the in-between challenge. You all do so much work behind the scenes.💐

Time to get ready for church. Blessings on you all.

    WORD FOR TODAY: HARMONY

What a beautiful day outside. It has been a LONG time since I got over 11,500 steps into my day. I'm going to sleep tonight!

Met one of our neighbors on the walk and when she went back to her home, I assumed Billie was staying with me. She decided to go home with our neighbor and ended up getting a ride back home. She knows her people. She stopped off yesterday at one of the guest cottages. Went to the door and help up her paw--as if she needed help. She then convinced the guest to go for a walk with her. I heard of "The Secret Life of Bees" -- I could write "The Secret Life of Beagles."

Have a beautiful day tomorrow! The word is Gentleness.

It's been a very busy day today, it started out with my volunteer work with my congregation and part of the walk there I found some walk treasures I will share - yes spring is springing here in Vancouver BC Canada - is it too soon? Hard to say, these coudl be winter flowers which we have also .. but it was fun taking the pictures on the walk to meet at the Kingdom Hall.
After that I went on a bus ride to find black ink for my printer, everywhere was OUT .. I finally went into Staples and since they are a bus ride away decided to ask them to order me a single black. I had already changed all the other colours. Well all they had was the four pack of colours and I only needed the black, so at 80.00 bought it. Then when I asked them to order the single, the sales person pointed out to me that the XL would fit my printer, and it would last for 2.5 extra prints! So I went and got one and that cost 60.00!! I am all set for ink now so do not need any for a while. On the way home, I stopped at MickyDees and got a chicken ceasar wrap - it was all chicken and wrap, no idea what happened to the lettuce or sauce and it was so salty I have been thirsty alllll afternoon. WON'T buy that again ... for dinner I had the gouta cheese stuff burger with onions and mushrooms and decided to have McCain's skinny savory fries and 4 onion rings - opps over cooked the fries in the airfryer - oh have anyone heard of the mcain's recall ? Seems that some of their product does nto have potato in them... hmmm so now I HAVE to check mine and make sure. Course none of that was on my "planned meals" so no points today, but it's only one day so I am not gonna sweat it.
@NovemberGail oh man you best get @Catwmncat to cook for you, not only am I a few airplane rides away -- I burn food reallllll goood !! LOL
@Catwmncat we all have days where we over endulged with something, somtimes planned and sometimes spontaneous - I've done it, enjoyed it and moved on from it, I just try to make sure I don't do a repeat very soon ... AND yes my weight is up this challenge as well .... I'll figure it out, so will you !! hugs
@Dianedoessmiles1 had a nice day today for Volunteer work and am prepared for more to come. Gene went to work so I had the afternoon to myself and spent half of it on the phone with a Sister from our hall who was telling me some interesting things about the Moabite Stone in France and how they aquired it as well as other things. I remember once she told me about the hanging gardens of Ninivah I think it was ... then she gave me a bread recipe I am going to try but I need to ask her about a couple of ingrediences.... sounds like your day went ok and besides you had your fur babies to keep you balanced off too eh lol hugsss
@Everyone I hope you all had a good day today and did something fun !!
    zum8ayv3o5on.jpg
Oh in this picture below there's a park !!! I did not know till I was at the bus stop and then I saw and went in to get a closer look, no idea what park it is I'll have to look it up and it was busy - folks were using the walk rounds !!

@Lindiemaep ,, LOVE it!! Glad you had such a good day. I do get my ink on amazon and though HP SAYS NOT TO DO IT I always have with great success, I use an off brand name. Sure I had to learn a little bit how to tinker with my printer with it (almost always says "out of paper" but it's not as easy to do and I save a TON of $$$$ this way. LOL Both kitties are sleeping at the moment,,, the little guy, LOLOL he's ALL KITTEN BRAIN!!! LOL he knows NO fear, and loves to get into places I had NO CLUE could be gotten into, yet he's a very very good boy. Thankfully he sleeps quite a bit as he should be at this age. At first he rarely slept, but now he's settling on in nicely. Was so neat to have them both up with me last night for a tiny bit. He was on one side, Izzy on the other, then she had ENOUGH of that, there are small steps being made!! I totally enjoyed meeting today. I tied in on Zoom, standing is still an issue though it was better today. HOPING when I wake in the AM I'll be all better!! Maybe! LOL yeah. If not I'll call the Dr's office and hope they just send me for blood work and NOT back to the ER, though it's beginning to feel like home away from home, SO WRONG!! Those flowers are GORGEOUS!!

@Tabatha_Cain Hope you were able to enjoy
going to church today. Most 18yr old's tend to not pick up or clean as much as we would like. Hopefully he will learn to help a bit more so someday he doesn't expect a partner to do it for him.
@NovemberGail I've been to a few Tampa Bay Rays games, but only when they were playing the Yankees. Hubs is a diehard Yankee and his boss used to give us his premium seats whenever they were in town. I would much rather watch the little ones play over pros any day.
@bookieNJ We don't really have "seasonal" sports here, mist can be played anytime of the year. Florida weather does have its perks, but draw backs as well. Many times in my life it has been sunny and mid to high 80's on Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
@Dianedoessmiles1 The gain is actually no big deal. It was just among one of the many things that set my binge in motion. Yesterday was definitely not one of my better days, but it's in the past and although today has not been stellar, it is much better. Sorry you weren't feeling well enough to go out for a walk today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better or you'll call the doctor.

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today was another sunny cool day. Did all my workouts, studied, finished my program for TOPS tomorrow, did dish and laundry (went on the line), played Wii sports with Hubby, and read a couple of chapters for my book club. It's about losing weight and self-sabotage. I am learning quite a bit about how my conscious and subconscious thoughts are setting me up to never reach my weight loss goal. Well I don't plan to let that keep happening so I am going to do the hard work to fix the inside and make it healthy so I can truly be healthy and reach my goals.
