Goal/Comments: saw my doctor today first time after being homebound for the last 8 months she was so happy about my progress and that I am returning to the workforce after 7 years of being disabled. My back was in bad shape, but I still made it to her office, so proud of me. Also, it is official finally got the letter from HR about my recommendation and the pre-hire process has started YESS

Goals/Comments: Got a letter from my doctor that all my blood work came back normal. No more high cholesterol levels yippee! Still Pre-diabetes but at least it didn't go higher still working to get that 5.0 instead of 6.0 A1c
Food for thought: Did you know once you're label diabetic it never goes away even it you get the number down to normal? I was very perplexed when I heard this.3 -

Food for thought: Did you know once you're label diabetic it never goes away even it you get the number down to normal? I was very perplexed when I heard this.
Yay on the bloodwork. Yup it is kinda crazy that once levels go to non-diabetic range the diagnosis doesn’t go away.1 -

Calories: Over. Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid overeating at night after a day of being in deficit? I find evenings the most difficult and the time when I tend to go over my calories.
Exercise: Yes, lots of walking.
Comments: I have been exercising/"moving my body" pretty consistently recently which I am happy about. I just need to stop overeating at night and stick to my deficit. If anyone has any tips on this I'd really appreciate it. I am planning on being under today!0 -

Comments: I’ve been sick this week with some respiratory thing. My son has it too. We’ve tested negative for Covid and the flu, but this has wiped us both out for several days. I’ve tried to keep my steps up because I’m in a StepBet, and I’ve managed that so far - just walking around the house 500 steps at a time 😮💨1 -

This was a major problem for me until I started doing intermittent fasting and it helped a lot. But until you train your body here's a few tips that worked for me for late nite snacking:
1. Make a ice low calorie drink to have on hand such has unsweetened tea or lemon water and drink when you're feeling the urge (it desire find a Sweetener with zero calories to make it tastier)
2. Frozen fruit helps as well (frozen grapes or strawberries were my go to for late night snack)
3. Make you own ice pops (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S74YMC4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share )with low calorie water flavoring I use

4. Lastly brush your teeth also helps don't ask me WHY but it really does
