I am happy with the loss but I keep having a voice in my head saying your cheating. It’s funny I dont feel that about others who have been on Ozempic to lose weight. I just hope the ozempic is going to help me have a better relationship with food. On the days I didn’t have nausea I was still full faster and ate less. Last night, I barely slept but I didn’t eat or binge in middle of the night. That is progress. Also, second Friday of asking hubby not bring me home a chocolate bar. Further progress!
Happy FriYAY!
Here, let me help.
YOU. ARE. NOT. CHEATING!
Thank you. I just had a long chat with my friend about this. She set me straight.2 -

Sick again... progress has slowed. Though, still not sure how much lower I'm aiming for. Perhaps another 2lbs?? I'll know when I'm there.

Not been my best week food wise as having a little too many 'extras' in the form of some gorgeous fresh sourdough bread and homemade blondies. That 1lb off was by the skin of my teeth. But positive framing: I got to eat delicious things while not going completely crazy and didn't gain weight. Yay!
1 pound down is fantastic!2 -

Thank you so much ... I really hope this is the last one too ...its getting really old ...It all started on 10/8/22 when I fell into a crater that my dogs created when I broke my ankle and tore ligaments and tendons... I sooooo want this behind me3 -

WEDNESDAY 03/22
- Calories: 1206 (goal 1200-1600)
- Water: 112 oz
- Gym: no
- Walk: no; though, I did re-stack a half a cord of wood.
- Protein: 90 g (85 goal)
- Fiber: 9 g (25 goal)
- THOUGHTS: just when I think “I’ve got this”, I realize that I, in fact DO NOT got this. It took everything I had to get active today. If it wasn’t for stacking wood, I may not have gotten 10k steps. I snacked more than I should have today. I had to remind myself numerous times that I want to have a healthy life and that I have goals. I had to silence and shut down a myriad of excuses I had lined up. I feel stronger because I plowed right through the negativity. Every day really does bring new challenges and new opportunities to succeed. I’m glad I chose me today. But dang it was hard.
STEPS:
03/19: 12,094
03/20: 23,417
03/21: 12,021
03/22: 13.180
Don’t be so hard on yourself. Look at your steps. Lots of movement. You pushed through the negative thoughts and stacked all the wood. I think that would be a pretty darn good workout. Why do you think you snacked too much? Your calories are low. You would have earned a ton of calories while stacking the wood.Megan_smartiepants1970 wrote: »I see my podiatrist this afternoon ... Yep I do ...Next Friday ...Thanks Hugs back

It’s the quality of the food I chose to snack on that has me buggered. My husband brought me candy, twice and then he bought bags of chips for sub sandwich night. I put the chips in the garage and chocolate in the back of the freezer. The peeps, well, I demolished those (no Peep hate allowed, lol)
I would feel different if I over did it on yogurt or the mango salad I have in the fridge…. I grabbed the chips and candy before I had got myself up and moving, mindless eating. A habit I am working on overcoming. But, she still sneaks in every now and again. Acknowledging when it happens and holding myself accountable seems to help me2 -

Hi Linda. I completely forgot to weigh myself today!! I will record my weight tomorrow. Lee1 -
Slimmersixties wrote: »Well in two days I've had one of the biggest downs and biggest up of my 95lb weight loss journey! After 3 months travelling in my rv and living in mostly baggy old dresses we organised to meet friends at a nice hotel I went to pack and discovered even my "small" clothes had become to big with my latest 7lb loss. I was so upset, angry and frustrated!
I'd promised myself new clothes when I got to target, well with 4lb to go the time is now!!
OMG ..... for the first time ever in my life I can go into any shop and find clothes that fit!! I'm never buying anything black again! I'm never buying anything unfitted again!! It was a bit scary as not only had my size changed but I need to "find" my new colours and style! My friend made me try everything on ... no more grabbing the biggest black dress and hoping it fits!! I still can believe how small some of the things were I bought!! Its like my head hasn't caught up with my real size! Back to the rv and I literally emptied out all my clothes .... and only kept what fits!
This made me smile SO BIG! I just love this. I can’t wait to hear about your new color choices. How exciting! I am so very happy for you
Thank you. I found a shirt I really liked and bought 4 .... one in every colour!2 -

CW (Current Weight): 151.0 pounds (lost 2.8 pounds)
After gaining 3 weeks in a row and trying to get back on track, I have now lost 2 weeks in a row. Feeling happy and proud of myself. I have been trying to eat less and think about what I am choosing to eat and trying not to eat if I am not actually hungry or needing to eat as before I could easily eat just because I was craving something or because I was wanting to snack while watching TV or because I was at home and thought I should eat again even if I didn't really need to.
I have lost a total of 4.8 pounds in 2 weeks which is not normal for me so feeling ecstatic about that! In the past 3 months, since joining this challenge and trying to get myself to make healthier choices again, I have lost 6.9 pounds. I am down 19.1 pounds from my highest weight in 2016. Looking forward to getting down to 20 pounds lost again and NOT putting it back on again! Once I achieve 20 pounds gone then I am half way to my goal as I want to lose 40 pounds. Once I get over the hump of 20 pounds gone I think it will help propel me to keep going knowing that I have finished half of the work and I only have half more to go!
Thanks to those of you have encouraged me in this group or on my newsfeed/profile.
An extra special thanks to those who gave me "punishments"/consequences/challenges when I asked for a kick in the butt or when you saw me making unhealthy choices as that is the one strategy that has always helped me get back on track as well as push myself to make different choices. I know some people feel bad calling me out when I make bad choices but please don't as I assure you that the accountability REALLY helps me! It's the one strategy that has always helped me but it's hard to keep in place as people come and go from MPF or they don't have time to hold me accountable or they feel mean telling me to do or not do things based on my unhealthy choices but I thrive from the accountability so keep those consequences and challenges coming my way!
