    - THOUGHTS: just when I think “I’ve got this”, I realize that I, in fact DO NOT got this. It took everything I had to get active today. If it wasn’t for stacking wood, I may not have gotten 10k steps. I snacked more than I should have today. I had to remind myself numerous times that I want to have a healthy life and that I have goals. I had to silence and shut down a myriad of excuses I had lined up. I feel stronger because I plowed right through the negativity. Every day really does bring new challenges and new opportunities to succeed. I’m glad I chose me today. But dang it was hard.

    Don’t be so hard on yourself. Look at your steps. Lots of movement. You pushed through the negative thoughts and stacked all the wood. I think that would be a pretty darn good workout. Why do you think you snacked too much? Your calories are low. You would have earned a ton of calories while stacking the wood.

    It’s the quality of the food I chose to snack on that has me buggered. My husband brought me candy, twice and then he bought bags of chips for sub sandwich night. I put the chips in the garage and chocolate in the back of the freezer. The peeps, well, I demolished those (no Peep hate allowed, lol)

    I would feel different if I over did it on yogurt or the mango salad I have in the fridge…. I grabbed the chips and candy before I had got myself up and moving, mindless eating. A habit I am working on overcoming. But, she still sneaks in every now and again. Acknowledging when it happens and holding myself accountable seems to help me

    NSV: A woman just called out of her top floor window to me as I passed to tell me how well I am doing and how I look smaller every time she sees me! I have never seen this woman before in my life :D so I guess I should be more aware who might be watching me on my walks lol

    This made me smile SO BIG! I just love this. I can’t wait to hear about your new color choices. How exciting! I am so very happy for you

    Thank you. I found a shirt I really liked and bought 4 .... one in every colour!

    I'm not surprised I gained today. I lifted yesterday instead of Wednesday and generally retain some water the day after I lift. Hopefully, next week will be better.

    It’s nice when we can pinpoint what is contributing to a gain. Great job on all the exercise this week.

    IT’s grocery shopping day. Going to buy some diet cranberry juice so I can make protein shakes(cranberry juice, chocolate protein powder and banana). I had the best apples last week. Hopefully, I can find them again.

    - THOUGHTS: kids were gone and husband working nights, just me tonight. I really needed the down time, mentally and physically. Ate leftovers (and too many jelly beans), binge watched Burn Notice and puttered around on some projects and cleaning. But, I drank plenty of water today, WINNING!
