Had to go into the office 3x this week (very unusual) so dinners and happy hours out with my teams took its toll. Susan I are leaving for Florida in a few hours and on to Dothan, AL to celebrate her Aunt & Uncle's 50th anniversary so I'll need a little more will power this weekend than I showed this week to get back on track.3 -

What went well this week: going to the gym on my lunch break, improving sleep hours, and walking more. Celebrating my achievements all this week and looking forward to my next loss!
Awesome loss! Thank you for the wishes.Megan_smartiepants1970 wrote: »lindamtuck2018 wrote: »Steps: 3,245

Yesterday, I ended up with fatigue. It is still bad today so obviously my auto immune disease is acting up. It’s my birthday and I am supposed to go out tonight. I don’t see it happening.
Happy Birthday sorry you aren't feeling well ....
Thanks Megan!lindamtuck2018 wrote: »Steps: 3,245

Thank you! Fantastic loss this week.michaeldaily4927 wrote: »Managed 11k steps yesterday, even after driving 1000 miles. Having you all here motivated me to get it done. Hot and humidity here in North Carolina, so I'm walking in Walmart twice a day. Anyway, stay strong all, I know many of you have some big physical issues, but the dog and I are sending positive vibes your way.

That is motivation. Awesome way to get those steps done.@lindamtuck2018
Happy Birthday! I hope you get to feeling better.
Forgot to weigh this morning will do first thing tomorrow.

Still waiting on migraine med change. The transition period is NOT fun.
When I get my pain injections, I also get some for the migraines. I was considering Botox to help with the headaches but even with my insurance covering some it would be expensive. I hope you feel better today.
It's a battle isn't it, trying to find the right cocktail. The transition from one med to another is anxiety ridden. I did botox a few years back and passed out in the office. Almost thankful it didn't work for me. And navigating insurance approvals more often then not causes a migraine lol.
I wonder if I went with the Botox would it have got rid of some of my wrinkles. 😂

I too suffer from Migraines ....so not fun ... I take a prescription called Sumatriptan ...It works wonders
When a migraine hits I am a rizatriptan girl. The meds we are playing with are preventative. After years of aimovig the effects have dwindled. Looking at vyepti infusions now. I am also on trokendi xr so here's hoping this helps.
Praying it works for you ...Crossing eyes, fingers and toes1 -

My steps were truly sad this week. The weather has been chilly here and I got the blues as if we skipped summer lol. Was so close to packing up and moving to Florida! Good news, next week temps in the 80's Woot woot!

PW: 143.9 pounds (down 1.2 pounds)
CW: 147.7 pounds (up 3.8 pounds)
Since starting back on my journey at the beginning of the year I had been doing well.
I had many weeks with losses and was losing slow and steady which is how I like to do it.
The weeks I gained I felt they were reasonable, normal gains/fluctuations.
Well, since being unwell at the beginning of May and losing 6 pounds in the course of 2 weeks my body has had a lot of trouble righting itself back to slow and steady.
I had 1 week when I managed to maintain the loss then after getting back to regular eating consistently I gained 4.3 pounds then tried to get back on track and lost 1.4 pounds then lost 1.2 pounds so thought I was back at it then today I gained 3.8 pounds.
I know weight goes up and down but I don't like the bigger jumps up and down.
I know my body has a mind of it's own and doesn't always do what I want it to do or what I think it should do and it fluctuates as it pleases.
I also know I have been doing very well with walking most days for about an hour but I have still been struggling with healthy eating, cooking from scratch, cutting out junkfood, cutting out processed food, and controlling the amount I eat.
When I go through weeks of bigger ups and downs I have to push myself to stay the course as whenever I see bigger gains I get frustrated and want to throw in the towel.
I have worked too hard to lose it to allow myself to gain it all back so I am working to keep myself pushing on.
The good news is, I was actually up around 5-7 pounds on other days when I did a quick scale check (not always at the right time of day though) so I am at least happy that seeing those gains and seeing 150 again shocked me enough to turn things around enough to only have to post a 3.8 pound gain today.
Will keep trekking along but gets frustrating when I was so close to 140 about a month ago and now I am close to 150 again.
Yes, I know, I did it once, and I can do it again but as you all know it is a tiring process!
I do know the reward at the end will be worth it when I hit my goal weight though.
So I keep chugging along.
Choo choo!
Is it bad that when I see choo choo I see the word chocolate and want chocolate?!!!!8 -

It is all about frame of mind. I have had a groin injury this week, which threw me off track a bit. But deep down I know I can easily be thrown off track. I have Type 2 as well so being off track is not good. At least the bottom line is I know I cannot be off track, where before on or off track it wasn't has important as it is now.3 -
About to head out to my next 5km race of the season.
