I am disappointed but I know why I gained, too many calories. I did well with my eating yesterday and I have logged the weekends food. As long as I stick to my prelogged food I will be ok. I really have to watch my sodium intake as well.
Yay! I did my 4 days of exercise. I was planned on going to the pool but my back has other plans. I hope I get a surgeons appointment soon. I was referred 16 months ago. The spine specialist told me it would be an 18 to 24 month wait to just get an appointment. Our health care system is a mess in Canada.

From experience i often do really well and manage not to gain when I'm on holiday ... then come back, relax a bit and then boom ... a gain! Grrrr sure you'll be back on track soon!

Even with almost a pound up I'm happy to bounce a bit around 156. Much better than the bounce around 160! More pounds lost to come!

Despite getting in just over 50,000 steps in 3 days at the Smoky Mountains, I guess there's only so much you can burn off if you're eating out 3 meals / day for almost a week. We had a great time on vacation and now it's time to get back to work!
Here we are at Sunset on one of the days (after we had a chance to clean up!)

CW: 144.9 pounds (gained 0.7 pounds)
My weight went up on Wednesday then up more on Thursday then up more on Friday as I was not making healthy choices.
I would say I went rogue this week!
Yesterday/Friday I weighed 147.1 pounds which was a gain of 2.9 pounds so I'm thankful I tried to eat a bit better yesterday and I attempted to get my water in and clear out my system before my official weigh in today so I only had to post a gain of 0.7 pounds.
Crazy how our weight can go up 3 days in a row (up 1.3, up 0.7, up 0.9) then all of a sudden drop off a good amount of the weight we gained all in 1 day (down 2.2) !
I have been struggling to get back to 142.2 pounds which is what I weighed on May 20th.
I know it's only 2.7 pounds I have to get back down but I have spent the last 2 months and a bit bouncing back up and then back down and then back up and I am not getting back to what I previously achieved.
Been falling back into my old bad habits like binge eating junkfood, getting take out more often, and not making proper meals.
The weather has been too hot and humid so I haven't been able to walk daily like I had been doing previously and I have not been good at forcing myself to exercise inside instead.
Also haven't been logging into MFP much so I haven't been posting what I've been eating in my newsfeed which I know helps hold me accountable and often helps me make better decisions as I know some of my fit pals will read it.
As always, to anyone who is a fit pal of mine, when I start posting my food in the newsfeed again, please feel free to give me a kick in the pants when I am not making the best choices.
I know some of my fit pals feel it's mean to call me out but it really helps me.
If I post that I ate 5 individual bags of chips one day and someone comments that it looks like I had a good day, it doesn't really help me but if someone posts that they see that I overate chips and then challenges me to eat no junkfood the next day or tells me to do 10 minutes of jogging on the spot for my unhealthy choices, that is what helps me.
On the positive side of this journey though, I have had some non-scale victories.
When someone made me 3 casserole dishes of desserts all at once, I sent back the dishes with about half of each the 3 baked goods still in it with a thank you note that mentioned them being able to enjoy the baked goods too.
A friend told me it looks like I lost more weight since she last saw me.4 -

I forgot to do this before grocery shopping. My weight today was 172.8. That puts me at exactly 90 pounds lost. Hope I can stay there for my official weigh in next week.
