Good morning! Today my DH and I have our bicycle ride in. Now time to do my walking video and strength.
I've started drinking my protein drink for breakfast this morning. It has half a cup blueberries, half of a banana, 8 oz milk, ice, and about a quarter cup Kiefer. I hope it helps my digestion.

@Tabatha_Cain , When I do not want to do something and inside my gut it's NO I've learned to follow that, but each of us needs to do what we wish to do and can do. I hate how extremely expensive life is now. But, yet I listened to my Grandmother about the depression and realize we still have it very, very good in comparison. Will that happen again? Often history repeats itself. I hope today was AMAZING!!

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Saturday. Joe and I will be helping Joe's Dad with a project today. It is going to be an all day event I am sure of it. It went pretty late last Saturday as well. Monday is Joe and I's first wedding anniversary. I am so looking forward to that. I have an amazing gift for him. I do have to find some time to get it finished though. I have some more things to add to it.
@aalley5 - That sounds like an interesting combination. Are you doing Fat Free Milk? Way to go on your bicycle ride. Thank you for the best wishes.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Yeah, I would be so depressed going back to AAA, just because I found out after I left that someone talked bad about me to the manager. The person complained that my son came in too much, and that I had my earbuds in too much. I know who it was because she is the only one who knew that at the end of the day when my husband got out of work he would call me to find out what he needed to do to get dinner started so that when I came home I could finish up dinner and we could eat. So I feel like why would I go back to someone who just talked bad about me and try to be friends with them again.

@Tabatha_Cain , Trash talking is always a very bad reflection on the person who's DOING IT!! No matter what!! Most managers will "hear it", though it's only info only, but always keeping in mind the trash talker can NOT be trusted about the manager either. It just goes what way. I am so sorry she did that. It's good you have other options and exploring less cut throat positions. How did it go for Joe and his Dad today? Is the project about completed? WOOHOO WOW!! ALREADY a YEAR has almost passed!!! CONGRATS, ,, well ALMOST!!!
Today a friend and I took BOTH kitties for their yearly shots. YO!! POOR OSCAR was so scared of being put into the carrier, I had to hold him for a few and calm him down, he has get this,, PANIC ATTACKS usually waking up! HUH? A CAT having PANIC attacks? YUP!! He didn't today though, but YO HE PUT UP A BRAVE FIGHT!! Than on the way over he CRIED AND CRIED AND CRIED!! We had Izzy with us also, LOL You could almost hear Izzy saying "It's OKAY OSCAR!! STOP THE DRAMATICS!!" LOLOLOL Izzy is a twit. She does though love him. They are all set for another year.0 -

Good Morning Airport Friends:
I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Sunday and well it is church at home day. It is also Joe's cousin's Birthday. I say that because he has a special place in my heart as he is the pastor who married us, and he spent time at our wedding rehearsal on his birthday. So I have a special place for him. Tomorrow Joe and I will be married 1 year. It is amazing how quick the year goes and we are still flirting, and joking and having fun. I don't think this part of our marriage will ever stop. I know some people say the honeymoon stage only lasts so long, but I don't think that it will ever end for us. I really feel like he is my other half and I was not living only existing before him.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - It is a bad reflection on that person, but then I have to pretend to be friends with that person and I don't think I can do that. Joe is ok with me not doing the drug test and not going back to AAA. We will figure it out. I just cannot. I would always have anxiety about going into work and what trouble will someone report about me today. I just cannot do it. Monday I will send an email letting them know I have decided not to take the position. The project Joe and his Dad are working on is actually a big project they do every year. I don't think you have heard of the Field of Flight Show. But that is what they are working on. We have what our town calls the Balloon Festival every year and it includes food trucks, vendors, hot air balloons, carnival and rides, and then jet shows, and all kinds of plane shows. Joe's dad is a master electrician and as we all know carnivals run off generators. Big big generators so he is 1 of a team of 6 electricians that run the wiring every year for the show. So we have a couple more days of working on the electrical and getting the actual generators hooked up and then July 3-7 is the event. I am so excited for our anniversary. I really am excited. That is good that your cats are all good for another year. Poor Oscar, I hope he settled when he got home.

@Tabatha_Cain , I hope today went very well. WOOHOO on not going back to AAA that's a hard, hard place to work when there's negativity in the air!! Last thing you or anyone needs is that nonsense. LONG GONE are the days when coworkers did what they could to support each other I guess. Maybe some places that aren't so cutthroat you can support each other. We have a T storm about to hit the area. WEIRD we've been under a tornado watch today (NOT a warning, just a watch) even here in the city. WEIRD!! THe storm about to come through isn't one that would suddenly produce such. I use the WINDY app and you can see so much more on it (how many lightening strikes, where it really at, the wind in it etc) it's pretty neat and FREE!!1

At least I am hoping we can. Depends on the weather, but a motorcycle ride would be so so nice tonight.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Yes I just told Joe I was not happy about going back and I would rather not go back and explained why and he was like ok. We will figure it out. So I am going to do door dash and keep looking for work. That is weird that you had a random tornado watch with barely a storm.

@Tabatha_Cain, I hope today you both got to do a motorcycle ride tonight, or will soon!! How did doordash go? Is it better during the day when offices are open? Today was a busy day for me!! We had a pot luck here (I made mac and cheese with bacon) had to RUN back home (LOL Okay I took the elevator, it's a figure of speech! LOL though it did feel that way!) to call the person I do on Mondays. I joined a program for those who are shut ins, they do not have anyone in their lives on any regular basis. I call her each week to see how she is. And if she needs something I let my supervisor know. She's a fun person with a wild background in that her work was very unusual for a woman in our time. I enjoy listening to her. I was told she didn't talk much, LOL YES SHE DOES!! But, I enjoy her. After that we went back up to visit our friend in the hospital who has pneumonia, he's also going through chemo and has heart issues. He's such a fighter!! I can't I'd fight that hard, but he sure is. AMAZING person!

I hope you all are having a good morning. Today is Tuesday and well today I am a bit nervous. I have a job shadow today and well I am worried. Joe has given me pointers and I will see how it goes. Joe has done job shadowing before so I am hoping it helps. So we will see if this is a job that I will want to do and see if they want to add me to their team. We will see. I am hopeful.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Our motorcycle ride will be tonight. Doordash was decent during the day yesterday. I made 84.50 for 3 hours and 20 minutes worth of work. So not too bad. That is awesome that you joined that program. I am sure those people love having someone to talk to.

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Wednesday and well it is going to be a good day. Yesterday was my job shadowing and it went great. I should hear something in the next week or so. I also went home and applied for more jobs. So we will see how it goes. I want to have lots of choices and I have another job interview tomorrow.
@Kurtize - Job shadowing is where you sit and watch the job you will be doing be done by someone else. You watch them to get a good feel for the job to see if it is something you are able to learn and that looks like something you would be good with doing. Yes Monday was our 1 year anniversary. It is crazy how fast a year went.

@Tabatha_Cain , I got a new phone yesterday that was EXHAUSTING TO THE MAX!! Though most things transferred over, not all of it did, plus it took over 2 hours to get the paperwork done and to GET RID OF SPECTRUM for phone service, back to US Cellular! PHEW!!! WOW Tabatha, your doordash on Tuesday was really good!!! Do you think over time this could be a nitch for you? Awww thanks!! I do enjoy the phone pal program!! You are working hard for a job, so happy you didn't go back to AAA! They were NOT nice to you, we are THOUGH!! 😁

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Thursday and I have another job interview this morning at 10 am. Today is also Joe's Birthday. I am super excited for that. I do have to get him something for his birthday. I am not sure what though. I will have to figure it out. I am definitely getting him a card. Today after my interview I will be doordashing. I am hoping it goes well.
@Kurtize - I am glad you and Kayla were able to get out this morning and get that walk in. 70 is way better than 100. The heat is definitely no fun. We were in it last week.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - It is exhausting getting a new phone service. I am glad most things transferred over for you. I do think Door dash is something I love to do. I am really glad I did not go back to AAA also. Although I am a bit concerned on bills the next couple of weeks.

Happy Thankful Thursday all. It is only 92 today. Kayla and I went for our walk at 8 am it was 70 and muggy. Rained last night around 11 pm. Other than that nothing new.

@Tabatha_Cain , How did doordash go today? And the interview? No doubt you found something for Joe, some of the best things we can get for others, are low to no cost, one biggie is our time, and love with respect. But, it's also nice to do other things as we can. Hopefully, money wise it'll work out well for you in the end.

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Friday and it is Joe's last day at his current job and then Monday he starts his new job. Today I was asked to come meet the staff of the Endocrinology office I interviewed with this past week. Joe says that is not normal. They don't usually do that so they must be stuck between a few applicants and they want to see how everyone interacts. So I will be there at 10 am with bells and whistles on. Trying my best not to show my autistic side and be normal, or show my ADHD. Which I was just diagnosed with. Isn't that fun. I am pretty nervous.
@Kurtize - So glad you got a walk in at 8 am. You would think the rain would cool it down a bit. Sorry you were at 92 yesterday.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Doordash did not happen yesterday. You have to put yourself on the schedule and I was not able to get on the schedule. When that happens you have to wait until your area gets so busy they need more dashers. That did not happen yesterday so I was not able to door dash. Today if that does not happen I will just start doing Insta Cart because i have to make some more money this week. Today I will be spending $400 on brakes for my car. Then Saturday I will be putting the new brakes on. I am so glad I can do some mechanical stuff and Joe will definitely be there too. Otherwise the shop wants 1300 to do all 4 sets of brakes. I just cannot afford that. I did do something simple for Joe. I got him ice cream from his favorite restaurant. So he got Chocolate ice cream with brownie pieces, and cookie dough pieces and chocolate syrup. He was so happy and it only cost me $5. We rarely get treats since we are on a working with our lifestyle change.

@Aalley5 are you having a fun weekend? I am having friends over (2 or 3 or even 4. LOL I'll not know til tomorrow comes. One of them does not feel well. Another one wants to come, she's just not sure how it'll work out for her. I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Saturday and it is going to be an interesting day. We might get thunderstorms for a bit this morning and then it should clear up this afternoon. I have to work on my brakes if I get the tools from Joe's Dad. We definitely need those tools. We don't have the tools. I have some of them, but Joe's Dad has the clamp I need and the 7mm hex bit that I also need for the brakes. So he is going to bring that stuff to me so I can get my brakes done today. That will be fun. I will have to sit on something to keep my butt from getting wet from the rain.
@aalley5 - I actually think it went pretty good. She said I should know something next week. So I am excited to hear.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Thank you. My youngest child's Dad taught me to do some stuff. I helped him whenever he would do brakes so I am sure I could do it on my own. Plus I watched a video so not too terribly bad. You know I really love helping with the weigh ins. I really do. It is so fun.
