Did better this week.. and had a lot of firsts. First time I hit my step goal and move goal consecutively. First time I logged before I ate and doing that made me avoid snacking later in the evening. So gotta keep that habit going..
I did pull a muscle in my stomach during an awkward stretch at the gym. Which slowed me down Saturday and is why I had so few steps. Hopefully it doesn’t hinder me too much this week…4 -

Hi All:
Well, I thought I was feeling better...got up early, did some work around the house...took a walk, had lunch, read a book, took a nap, got up and heated up some leftover baked chicken, fixed mashed potatoes and peas and sat down to eat my evening meal. Started feeling really strange, then proceeded to throw up for the next hour, about five times...not sure where that came from...but can't finish eating...going to bed now...the only thing I can come up with is that my body was still cleaning out from my previous sinus infection...sorry to be gross, but I'm one of those people who rarely throw up, so to have it happen so much in a short period of time...I don't know what to think.
Headed to bed...talk to you later! FYI, I have the step challenge results from Sept ready to post, but will do that tomorrow...gotta go lie down. Sorry for the delay!

Hi Shape Shifters!
I am an adult learner. In my last semester - about to have my bachelor's degree. This is week 8 of the fall semester. My history course is ending this week. I have a midterm exam for my physics course - feeling very nervous about this. After my history course ends, I will start a 8 week communications course. Feeling stressed with the usual life stressors and school stuff. Taking time to go for walks to help ease my anxiety and stay present. Get out of my head and into my body.
I have job opportunity - hoping for good news this week!
For one of my courses, my capstone, I partner with someone in the community. I am working with an equine therapy facility. The project I will work on with them has to do with volunteer engagement and their volunteer management software. Does anyone have experience in this area and would be willing to give any advice I might need along the way?

We had an appointment at the children's hospital on Friday, so I got a few steps walking around there. After the appointment, my boys went to my Mom's for the weekend. I went to the gym on Saturday and did some minimal cleaning, but other than that, had a very lazy day. Sunday was similar until the boys came home, and then it was the usual chasing them around and our night time walk, as well as the gym again.
Food was pretty bad this weekend, but I really needed some time to relax and unwind. So I'm okay with taking the weekend off from focusing on calories to help that happen.
Now it's back to normal, and I'll be tracking food again, as well as focusing on all of the health related things.5 -

Yesterday I did the mindless eating thing midday during work meetings. I went right for the cheese and chocolate. Not a lot, but it only takes a few hundred calories to go over the daily limit! So I probably did not burn fat yesterday - but today I start fresh again aiming for better.5 -

Hello Shape Shifters. I haven't been here much because I have been lazy/tired/sick or a combination of the 3. I started a workout on Sunday but I couldn't finish it because I got really weak and dizzy. I did manage to clean a lot later in the day. Yesterday I was lazy, though I did do some weeding. Today was also lazy & a headache. One positive is that I found a cat groomer in my town 12 minutes of walking away. She used to only groom rabbits, but now also does cats so she is pretty new. It costs only 40 euros compared to the 75 when I get the groomer at home, so we are going to give her a try later in the month.
I got some new toys for Tinus so he is a happy pumpkin. Today I got my second monitor from storage, unplugged all my computer stuff and dusted everywhere and cleaned the desk. Set it all up with 2 screens. It is super nice and easy to use. I tried to stream my horse game, but with the internet I have, it is just too laggy. So uploading 10 hours every night for 15 months it is. I am really annoyed about it, but unless I win the lottery, I am not going to buy out my current contract.
My food has been in shambles again for the past week or so. I just don't know what to eat anymore, I hate it. I wish I didn't need food. Anyway, that's my depressing update. Happy Tuesday everyone6 -

My steps were super low over the weekend.I was supposed to be going for a 5 mile walk with my gym buddies on Saturday.However I had to cancel as I had a very sore right big toe.It was so painful & kept me awake for 2 nights.I don't know what caused the pain ,it was all red & inflamed & my ankle was puffy.but thankfully it eased up yesterday.
I am super happy that I got my garmin activity watch back today.I wasn't too happy that eventhough I was home I missed the knock on the door & had to collect it from the depot !4
