Well I put on 2 lbs as Mom pushed me over the edge. She hid the keys and It took me days to find them. I ate so much crap. Trying hard not to loose my cool. Mouth was full so I couldn't say anything I would regret.

Now I'm mad at myself I really should just let it out rather than apply it to my waistline.

Good morning. First time I have logged into MFP in a long time.

My husband is out of the hospital. His health is stable but his memory is very poor. He is like 10 second Tom in 50 First Dates. He cannot remember anything new for very long. He is upset that he was told he could not drive. He is not safe to leave alone for much longer than a quick trip to a store....I will need to learn to do even more on-line shopping.

We bought a new home in Gainesville FL and moved last weekend. Still emptying boxes and resolving the small problems that always occur in a new home...like how to get the silverware to fit in a different size silverware drawer.

I did find a buyer for my business and that deal should close near the end of October. But there will still be a lot of transition work even after that before I begin to have more free time.

Life has been chaos since August 2nd when I took my husband to the emergency room. I have been extremely stressed, overwhelmed, having no routine, and for a long time I could not find anything. I have a to-do list that is several pages long.

It is slowly returning to a place where I can find things and today I am working on re-establishing some routines and just ordinary rhythm to my life. I am ready for some boring.

Needless to say...my eating has been poor. Exercise has been sporadic...although moving has kept me very active this week.

I am ready to join the 5% Challenge if I can...or at least I will join in the interim session after the Fall Challenge and get back to active. Let me know what my options are at this point.

Have a Great and Healthy Day!!! Gretl

so I had to stop back in as I started cruising the Amazon.com. Do I need anything nope it's just a bad habit I need to stop.

@Grannysue91 I love your new shower once I redo Hubby's bathroom I hope to have a shower like that. Right now his bathroom is a hot mess and he says it's fine until he dies. Lord help me if he dies in there.

last week I bought a new winter coat. I also hired someone to do our driveway so it's something off my list of things that keep me up at night. I am surprised at how fast my parents are slipping. At least I will have no regrets .

@SweetPeasMom55 Sounds like you still have your hands full. But you are absolutely correct in having no regrets. I had just 2, small things in the big scheme of things, one each, when my parents passed, and even those bother me yet today. Salute to you, you are a good daughter ❤️
