    @izzyred9400 Since you always get in a lot of steps, I left your step goal at 12,000. I think you should stick with that, unless you're absolutely certain you want to change it to 1200. 😉😂

    The beach would be my favourite place to walk too, but the nearest one is 100 miles from here!

    @FWSWCindy

    Since your Fitbit is/was on the blink, I suggest you use a miles-to-steps calculator to estimate your steps. Here's one of many: https://www.thecalculatorsite.com/health/miles-steps.php

    You give it your sex, height, pace and distance and it gives you a step estimate. I would estimate your steps for yesterday's 4.6 miles to be ~10,000-11,000.

    In any case, we need to enter something in the table for your steps Sunday thru yesterday.
    Anything's better than zero.

    @frankwbrown Oh no another typo ! I really need to get some readers.Yes of course I meant my usual step goal of 12000.I liked your comment on your great nephew's funny walks.My best friend & I were huge fans of Monty Python around the late 70s.I must correct you as I'm sure it was the Ministry of funny walks.I still have cassette tapes of them that my friend sent to me whilst I was living in Greece around that time.

    @PatriceFitnessPal Before I even knew who/what Monty Python was, I saw this sketch. The people I was with, I think, had as much fun watching my reaction/disbelief as they did watching the sketch.
    So this one will always be one of my favorites, right up there with the Argument sketch.

    @frankwbrown — Yes, I can imagine that! Now I’m smiling at the thought of how nice it feels when surrounded by good friends and laughter! 😊 — the joy of introducing fun to others and sharing an experience. We need more silly fun in the world today. The next time I feel contrary, I’m just going to think of “The Argument” and drop it instead. Thanks for another laugh to start my day!

    P.S. The link above took me to another funny Python skit so I just looked up The Argument, rather than argue that you/Frank sent me to a different clip. 😂🤣😂

    Day 5 of my 20 min a day for 30 days. Just finished today's walk. Getting ready to do my strength exercises and then head to bed…hoping to read for a bit before I pass out, but who knows…yesterday, I did my walk, but was in some pain when I finished so I wasn't online…just went to bed.

    Hope your week is going well…tomorrow is Friday!! WOOHOOooo! Hoping for a relaxing and quiet weekend…

    @frankwbrown of course it was silly walks I knew funny didn't sound right.The clip gave me a giggle.I used to enjoy the Lumberjack song & many of the sketches.

    As a garmin expert I wanted to ask you a question.I put my swim in the sea yesterday as an open water swim.Just wondered if this would count towards a swimming badge ? Or maybe just pool swims count ? It measures distance & time in both so in theory it should be the same.

    @izzyred9400 I'm pretty sure open water swimming counts toward the swim badge, toward both distance and time — when there is a time-based swim challenge, which there isn't this month. I've only done open water swimming a couple times, several years ago now. It's easy to check: click on Challenges.. See all current challenges, then click on one of the swim challenges. It'll tell you where you're at in the challenge.
