Adding another 20 miles for 232 out of 400.
Dean...hmmm...now that works out to 24.0 miles a day for the next seven days...my bet is still on you!! :drinker:
I have to manage 7.04 miles a day for the next eight days. I have about half of today's miles so far...must got walk the puppy now!!

Added 3 miles for a total of 25.6.
ETA: just realized I forgot to add my walk to the subway (we spent the day with the kids at Buskerfest Toronto)0 -

Lots of catching up to do after my vacation.
Up to 74.9 miles now.
That included biking, walking on the beach, tours, elliptical etc.
* the miles are harder to get now that I am logging "conscious" miles and not just taking my fitbit distance. I still feel really good about the decision and I appreciate the posts from others here who influenced me.

Dean...seems we wore the puppy out...he would chase the ball...look at it when it stopped rolling then keep walking. A couple of times he took it out to the middle of the huge field and spit it into the grass then walked away...then he crossed the playground and stood by the exit gate. :laugh: Puppy messages for sure!!

Adding a few more miles to my total. Still ahead by a bit, but I'll need to work on it to stay ahead at this rate. However, the 90-100 heat index we've had for the last few days is putting a kibosh on that. I don't even want to go work out when I leave work. I'm far too drained to do more than think of it.

Woohoo! GOAL!
I neve made it to the gym oon Saturday but I did go out on my paddleboard with my friend's daughter to spread her ashes. Beautiful yet somber evening. I didn't even bother tracking my mileage.
But Sunday morning my husband had duped me into doing the "Tour de Redland". I don't ride in a group, so this would be my first time. There were two routes, one for 48 miles, the other for 30. I had agreed to 30. Well, he made me do the longer ride AND the pace line was 20-21mph. I had to cut the ride short, but I kept up with the group for over 30 miles and did 41 of the 48 miles averaging 17.8 mph
NOw hubby says he can kick up my training! :noway:0 -

Managed to get a 6.0 mile bike ride in tonight. Was battling a little bug today and that was all the energy I could muster. Okay, it was either a bug or the karaoke & beer... :noway::bigsmile:
Looking to do more/better tomorrow.
