I was sidelined for a little while with back issues.... have a couple long bike rides planned and more running! Hoping I can meet my goal this month!0 -

3.1 mile run - my 2nd 5K. I don't have the official time yet, but it's around 36 mins and I'm thrilled since it's faster than the few times I've run it these past few weeks. I hit all my goals - ran all of it, under 40 mins and not in last place. I even passed a few people and some of them younger than me. I also won a 90 min massage in a raffle and it's at the wellness center I go to. :-) This was one of my fitness goals for the year so I'm very happy with it.
There was also a cute kids 1 miler - I think there was one over the age of ten or so. Watching them take off made me smile. First place was 7 mins 2 seconds. I know I didn't have that energy at that age.

My little 3 mile run seems kind of insignificant after that. But I did run into my old yoga teacher in the store and found out she has a class in the morning. Which I really need. I'm very tight from my marathon training and her class will be really good for me, in a tough, boy does that hurt, I can't believe I'm so stiff kind of way.0 -
