Wow Jean, you are really hoofing it. Super work. Is it getting cool in your neck of the woods? It's starting to here, thank goodness.

No Ann it is quite humid here yet. Nowhere near as warm as you will have it but I find it very sticky for us. It is usually coming cooler here at this time of year but not this year. Not complaining though. No doubt we will have the snow soon enough.

I'm ready for fall. And a little snow this year would be just fine with me.

Me too Ann-I am so done with this hot weather and rain!!! Bring on the snowstorms!

you can have our share of snow Ann if you like. We don't want it :noway:

Thanks Jean. Just load it up and fly it over here. Our snowman building skills could really use a challenge.

Ann-The snow storms that come up the East Coast are indeed called Nor'Easters, and when I lived in southern New York, Oh My Gosh we got snow they measured in yards because the weather service gave up on feet it snowed so much! My boys LOVED it!!! LOL Now I live in Michigan and we get "Lake Effect" snow, which is a sad comparison to Nor'Easters. I mean, they talk about snow in inches here. :grumble: Lake Michigan does not seem to dump as much snow on Michigan as Erie and Ontario do on Upstate New York. I was disappointed when I moved here because I was planing in being in a snow belt like upstate New York, not a snow string! I love my snow-the more the better!

I have decided however, that my immediate problem is these darn trees! So, I am doing a "leaves please fall off the trees" dance to hurry the process along!

Have a great week everyone! Weights and rest for the next 3 days so I'll be back on Thursday with more miles. :drinker:

Well I must be the odd duck here because I am kind of looking forward to winter and everything it brings.
On that note I will have to reset my goal for the month...don't think I will get anywhere near my original goal. So maybe 50 for the month....oh well we are home all the time starting next weekend so next month will be better. I'm really impressed with the miles you all have been putting on...

    Walk Blaster Mini Walks 7

Did 4 Walk Blaster walks today. I like the different moves Leslie has come up with and the music-yay-it's good. Ha, it's just good to hear something new from her as I've been using the same 4 dvd's from the Jurassic period. Everyone of them has at least one song in common, lol.

I don't like that she acts as though she doesn't know how to do mambo's and cha-cha's. She asks the other walkers to "help" her with them. She's also mentions moving the coffee table. Isn't that on the top 10 list of phrases we don't ever want to hear again?? LOL. It's still a very good workout in spite of Leslie's eccentricities.

zichab, I can't imagine snow by the yard! I love it too. Goes back to when I was 5 or 6 and living in Alabama, we got 6" of snow on top of 2 inches of ice one year. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was fantastic. We had the best time playing in it.. All the bushes were coated in ice. We didn't have any gloves, so my Mom had us put socks on or hands to keep them warm. We were so sad to see it melt.
