Hello Ravenclaw. Good to hear you are feeling better psb13. We just finished our Christmas preparations today. Plans for a big Christmas dinner that I am hoping ot get through without overeating to much. Here are a few photos of my run in the snow yesterday.0

Also, glad to hear some health is coming back to the group for a change (feel all better soon!) and yay for Sue getting a break!
I'm ecstatic this year because I get THREE DAYS off for the holiday (Eve, Day, and Day After). Had a fabulous day at work, too. My team is really just fantastic, and it makes it nice to be able to go to work and enjoy the people you're with.
Now off to sleep so that I'll have energy for tomorrow. I'm going to do my very, very best to do my weigh-in in the morning so that I don't forget entirely because my parents don't have a good scale to use. Don't hate me if I forget! If nothing else, I should be able to do it Monday, although the idea of that scares me a little, lol.

Merry Christmas Eve Ravenclaw. Feeling better today. I have a bit of a voice today, granted it's not my voice, but it isn't Alvin the chipmunk's either. Wishing safe travel to those of you on the road (or in the air) today.

Happy Saturday morning Ravenclaw! I got a B on my exam yesterday!! I am so relieved! That had to be the worst class I've taken so far and had nothing to do with my major. (biology class - business/accounting major) Actually, it was more the teacher - very inflexible and a bit controlling. Anyway - that gives me a B for the course - so, yeah - very relieved.
Weighing in today at 153 - maintaining, so that's good.
OWLs: 7 for spirit - haven't been logging this week
House Points: 0 - haven't been logging exercise either :blushing:
Not a very strong end for me this month. Remember, this weekend is the final weigh-in for the December inter-house challenge. Next weekend will be the beginning weigh-in for January, so remember your New Year's weigh-in if you want to participate in January's challenge!
I'll be out last-minute shopping with my son this morning and then the bell choir plays in a Christmas Eve service tonight. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve!

Slept a lot yesterday, and wasn't able to finish off my calories. Hard to eat when you're asleep.
Here are my stats:
Exercise- 315
OWL be within 100- 2
OWL spirit- 5
OWL exercise meet goal- 3
Current Weight- 316.8
In case we need our December goals, let me just put mine here. Let's try for an even 310. I'll have a new job, which might upset my current schedule, but that goal seems reasonable for the month. Especially since I know we're having our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Just the bird and stuffing, but still.

weight 175 is up 2lbs. i've been living on home made chicken soup, orange juice, and ice cream for the last 10 days and not working out, so the only surprise is that it wasn't more.
i haven't been tracking owls and no house points, sorry. i'm getting really sick of being sick!! :sick:
i have to go back to work tomorrow. still not feeling great, better, but not anywhere close to normal.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. I allowed myself a few holiday treats yesterday and was feeling a bit bloated this morning. Weighed in at 235, but I hope that will go down this week. I haven't been logging or tracking OWLs lately, but I hope to get back on track for the January challenge.0

I can't believe it: I actually lost weight this week! I'm down to 221.6. Down 1.8 pounds!
Only two OWLS this week.
And sadly no House points.
It's really hard finding a place to exercise at home. I'm still working on figuring that out.0 -

As with every Christmas, gifts from strangers consisted of chocolate & beer... which we gave away the first chance we got. Phew!
However, I feel the pangs of turkey cornbread stuffing, which is oh so good. I'm planning on going to hip hop tonight, so hopefully I can work some of that off. It has been tougher to stay within calorie range I've noticed. Hopefully I can regain my composure the rest of the week. Leftovers only last so long, so perhaps I won't be so tempted afterwards.0 -

This weekend was not good to the scales for me but I'm not going to stress it - I am so much better off than I was this time last year!! hi Ravenclaw. i finally made it back to work today after being out sick all last week. happily, it wasn't a bad day. now i'm really tired and hoping for an early night and some good rest. hoping to be back to workouts by the weekend, but definitely not up to it yet. feeling like munching, but unless i can manage a workout i can't afford the calories!! spinach, here i come!! have awonderful evening everyone. :bigsmile:0

Ack! I have no idea where my post went. I had an entire thing typed out on Saturday before I left in the morning with my weigh-in, etc., but apparently it's not here?
Anyway -- weigh-in from this weekend (Saturday morning) was 222.0
I don't have my OWLs tracked, so I'll skip that this time.

Well, even though about half of us haven't checked in, here are the December week 4 results:
Our top loser this week is cherubcrnp - down 3 pounds and 1.44%
The most OWLs were earned by Bairn77 - he earned 15 OWLs
Congratulations to this week's Prefects!! Great way to end the year! :drinker:
For the month, cherubcrnp lost a total of 8 pounds, or 3.76%, earning her the title of Quidditch Captain!
The most House Points were earned by TwiFan5 - a whopping 2955!
Congratulations to Korkster for passing her December goal by 3.2 pounds!
I am really proud of all of you!
And finally, I am going to have to step down as the Ravenclaw Head of House :sad: . My schedule and work load are about to get really busy and I'm afraid I won't have the time to devote to keeping tabs on everything. We will need someone to replace me, so we need a volunteer. Anyone interested? I'm not leaving the house, so I'll be around to help out if you need it.

Hi guys, sorry I'm so late, for some reason I thought we weren't doing a weigh in for this week? Maybe it was just points we weren't doing. Anyway, I overindulged and I'm back up to 61.3kg / 135.1lb :grumble:
But oh well, now that I'm back to my usual diet it should drop off again at the usual rate I hope.

Sue, so sorry to hear that you will no longer be our Head of House. :frown: you are so good at it and i find you to be a huge personal inspiration in my journey. i think we will all miss your leadership, but happily we will not be losing you as a housemate. :bigsmile: i know that you put a tremendous amount of time into it and understand that you need to relinquish the job. your family, school, and work have to come first. whoever feels able to put the time into the job will have my full support (and admiration for trying to fill your shoes).0 -

psb13: I was dead asleep at 3:45 dreaming about eating fried chicken...would have been a good time to join you and exercise, lol!!
The only thing standing in the way of my -0.4 lb loss between now and tomorrow morning is the choices I make today. After being up for a bit and having a small breakfast, I weighed myself (just to see where I am) at 275, almost 3 up from last week...I'm hoping it's just food/water weight from so far today and not a real gain. Idid well yesterday and am hoping to get a good burn in today to be able to meet my December goal of an even 272!0 -
And finally, I am going to have to step down as the Ravenclaw Head of House :sad: . Awww man, I do hate to see this, but I can definitely appreciate why you might have the need to do so. You've been beyond amazing, and you've taken on a lot of work just to help keep us motivated and inspired and on track, so thank you thank you thank you for being there for us all.
I've been iffy lately with being on, so I know that might be a strike against, but oddly enough, it's usually my kind of thing to want to do and might keep me motivated (I like tracking and lists, etc.). Not to mention that it would be a perfect little kick to have that extra good kind of obligation, and I don't have a hobby outside of work stressing me out at the moment. Not volunteering just yet , but I'll definitely be thinking about it in case or unless we don't have any other interest.0 -

Thanks Kelly. I found that I was much more motivated and active because I was tracking and encouraging everyone else - and I had to log on daily because everyone was depending on me . It might just be the kick you need.
