lulubelle - I like the logic behind your decision to NOT give the "point" to LNS. Good decision.

I'm giving this to me even though I didn't finish eating until 10 p.m. because of sickness in the household dinner was late. But I only ate the chicken and vegetables and did not go for the pie or the ice cream afterwards, so I consider that a success. :drinker:

definitley a success to avoid the pie and ice cream!

Keep up the GREAT work, ladies!! Remember, it is ALWAYS (and ALWAYS will be) only ONE DAY AT A TIME.

What you did yesterday does NOT matter, one whit, to your choice to be successful TODAY.

    Go for it!!

This week wasn't very good. Then again-I have to stay positive- This is the first time tackling this issue for me and I was successful three days. Next week I am going to aim for four days. I think I have Late Night Eating Syndrome. I also wake up in the middle of the night (like right now) and it is really difficult at my b.f. house because their are a zillion cookies and goodies all over the place. :/ It is really hard to have self control when you are half awake walking to the bathroom.

Last night/this morning I had 8 girl scout cookies, two tablespoons of peanut butter, hot coco, and a few handfuls of honey bunches of oats. :( That's 600 added calories that were just mindlessly eaten. -Any tips-It wouldn't be so bad if I ate these things in the day cus then I wouldn't be hungry. Now I will be :(

    In my defense:

    1. I planned for this LNS....which is why I was able to NOT LNS all week.
    2. I only ate edamame beans. That's right, no potato chips, chocolate, or other "bad" things....just some protein.

I thought about the challenge when I ate a granola bar and then crackers in front of the tv. Its all about mind over matter.. tonight "me" it gonna win.

I never said my cut off is 8 pm, but more important no snacking after dinner when I'm not even a bit hungry.

greenscape, I can totally relate to your post!:grumble: I, too, thought about the challenge as I ate everything in sight. Don't know what my problem is, but I do know we can't give up. I also know from past experience that this challenge works. As you pointed out, it's mond over matter.
    So...

But, today is a new day so let's hope for the best and the right mindset.

    Awesome attitude! :flowerforyou:

    karenleona, well done!

Beeps, your number 2 makes me really doubt that LNS deserved that point. I'd strongly suggest you reconsider it...

dewdrop - you are my FAVOURITE poster ever, lol!! But, I'm counting ALL snacks. Even still, my goal, this month, is to permit myself one night per week where I CAN have LNS. In a month, that means only 4-5 LNS. And, if I make healthy choices on that LNS night, even better.

Now, when TOM comes around, I KNOW that my LNS will NOT be "healthy", it WILL be a ravage-filled ****-a-mamie binge-fest - and that's okay....one night a month, lol.
