Thanks dewdrops and greenescape for the woots! They are helpful.

I thought wouldn't it be nice if MFP had a spread sheet type set-up for this group and others so we could more easily see all of our progress and better keep track of our group friends? Maybe I will suggest this on the web site pointers thread.

It is only 2pm here on the West Coast so I have not tallied my LNS for today yet. Be well everyone!

KarenLeona....we are pulling for you. Sorry you are having a hard time. It is hard. Late night is the hardest time of day for most of us. Be proud of those nights you are on target. Just keep having the goal of no LNS. Eventually it will click.

Slender has it right....so long as you are focusing on no LNS, you are going to get there. Promise!

    (Great job, Slender, btw!)

karen, you're one point away from taking the lead! you're doing really well - just stick with it! :flowerforyou:

beeps, cheat night tonight? I've been thinking of your idea and I actually discovered how good the plan is: instead of eating at night out of frustration/stress/boredom/habit, you allow it as a sort of reward and in a controlled way; quite a nice idea

have a nice weekend, everyone, and stay focused

I don't think tonight will be my "celebrate LNS" night, lol!

Probably Sunday - the Golden Globes are on, and I'd like to make some popcorn and nibble in front of the tube.

So, I'm planning for it. In order to "reward" myself with it, that means I need to NOT LNS tonight or tomorrow night - to be DESERVING of such a nice treat!

That's what I'm gonna do....it's your job, ladies, to keep me *honest* about this sort of stuff!

I was on target for calories today. I weigh-in on Sunday. I would love to see some loss. I was perfect the week before and had no loss. Fingers crossed.

KarenLeona....good job with only a few crackers! It takes practice and mindfulness to stop ourselves from doing what we don't want to do.

    Beeps...you are doing great!

Dewdrop....This is a helpful group! Thanks.

Grrr...the crazy person crept back into my head. It is now 12:30am and I must admit I ate 2tblsp of peanut butter. I wanted it but I didn't want it. So now I must revise my tally:

    Me:11
    LNS:2

Why? Why Why? That is 190 cals. That's a lot. Grrrr.

Beeps, stay focused, your plan sounds just right and I know you can earn your Sunday! :flowerforyou:

How would it have been if you weren't here? More than 190 cal? If so, in the big picture, this still looks like a win.
If not, then you are aware of it and will make it better tonight, right? So either way you look at it, you are making things better by staying truthful to the challenge, even after you fail. Simply believe in yourself and get back on track! :flowerforyou:

Nah, ladies, I *blew* it. I ate a TON of "Stacy's naked pita chips" last night. Home alone. Couldn't stop myself.

    YIKES!!

I worked HARD at the gym, today, to try and burn it off.

    :(

I'll kick myself for another hour, and then let it go - today IS A NEW DAY!

Because I had a problem with binge eating at night -and eating ALL my calories- I allow myself 200 calories after midnight. 190cals isn't so bad at all, just eat 190 less tomorrow. This coming week I want to go down to only 150 calories after midnight but if I fail at that I'll bump it back up to 200.
I guess this may seem like too many calories or that I am being too easy on myself but it is such a huge improvement to where I was. I am sure you are improving as well-just keep looking forward :)!

I was a sane and rational eater today. Thank goodness. My tally:

    Me: 12
    LNS: 2

Neon Nikki..thanks for the props. I wish I could just eat less calories the next day to cover for my night before LNS. It doesn't work that way for me. I need all of my precious calories everyday, otherwise I am so hungry I will eat someone's arm off!

    Night all.

It sounds like everyone knows the "improvements" they are trying to make - and working really hard towards them!

    Now THAT is PROGRESS!!

    Me: 12* - LNS: 3,

in spite of the fact that I had 2 slices of cheddar before going to bed. I was hungry, a bit too hungry to be able to fall asleep right and I am happy to have had just the 2 slices. A wise choice, imho. :blushing:

    Hi all,

Yes, dewdrop your 2 slices of cheese was a wise choice.

I lost weight at my weigh-in today. It is a miracle!

    Keep on loggin' those calories.

I did as planned and had popcorn AND chocolate-covered acai berries last night. I didn't eat as much of EITHER as what I logged (actually). And, I didn't enjoy it as much as I had anticipated.

Worse - I woke up in the night with lots of tummy pain and general uncomfortability.

    WHAT A WASTE!

Anyway, I think that's it for me. Even that PLANNED LNS, was NOT FUN! So, for the next 2 weeks, I'm just going to eat clean and go to bed early if I feel the munchies coming on. I did NOT like how I felt last night AT ALL!

this time it was yogurt - plain, refreshing, but pretty filling. I'll take away the point for that.

SlenderGirl, the miracle of the "no LNS" challenge ;).

loveme, karen, stay in the lead!

Beeps, it sounds like no LNS has become a habit for you. Good job!
