Hi-
I just realized a week has gone by since I logged onto mfp. Needless to say, it isn't pretty. I am having a hard time getting back to correct mindset. Also, my father-in-law is in hospital over an hour away so I've been eating at all hours and all the wrong things. I have no willpower.
I really haven't kept track, but I will assume that I am:
Me: 1
LNS: 15
I am still going to try to turn this around.

Hi all. mfp was down last night, for me at least- maybe the site crashed from so many enthusiastic loggers, so my tally for last night was:
Me: 14
LNS :2
zaza...sorry to hear about your fill. It is hard to schedule our eating when life is happening.
KarenLeona...I am pulling for you! It is soooooo hard to fight against our urges to eat, especially at night. Don't give up.
Seriously, there have been times when I thought I should put duct tape over my mouth in the evenings! Never didi it. Wonder still if it would've worked.
Not recommending this to anyone, just a thought I had!0 -
SlenderGirlMo - I like your sense of humor. At this point, duct tape sounds like a great idea!:laugh:0

I had the worst day. After months of preparing, studying, class-taking I was to have a very important meeting with a State Licensing agency. This meeting cost $2,750 to schedule for today. I was so nervous for this meeting. And can you believe it? The licensor never showed up. I eventually was able to get ahold of someone in the office and they said, "oh sorry, she can't make it today we were supposed to call you and we never did." "you will need to reschedule". I am still dismayed.
Needless to say I went way over my calorie limit today AND I had a LNS. As I am sure a bottle of red wine counts as a LNS!
So my tally:
Me: 15
LNS: 30 -
SlenderGirlMo - you are still ahead of the game. What a bummer with your meeting. It stinks when what is important to you is not recognized by others. Hopefully you could reschedule quickly and get this part behind you. And aren't there health benefits in red wine like there are in say apples and carrots. So I think that's considered a healthy snack, right? It's not? Oops, guess I need to change MY tally

I've drank 2 out of three nights which would of been fine if I hadn't gone back to my b.f.s place to eat french friends and peanut butter. Yuck. I don't want to weight myself until Sunday. No more drinking the rest of the month and no more staying at my b.f.s...
Also-once school starts and I have to wake up at 8:30 every morning I think my LNS will get a lot easier. I always fast for those 8-9 hours of sleep....So maybe I don't have "Late Night Eating Syndrom" (Atleast not at my house where their arn't cookies laying around left and right) But I do have a stay up until 5am problem... I gets a bit difficult to not eat from midnight until 5 am.
Arg! Kinda upset at myself. Today is a new day. Back on track!0 -
Me: 16 - LNS: 4
The past couple of nights I was a bit over 0 calories after my cut-off, but since that was not munching, I'll give the points again to myself. In particular for last night, when I put back the dried fig that I was going to throw in my mouth just before going to bed.
Lorna and Zaza, welcome back :flowerforyou:0 -
SlenderGirl, that is so inconsiderate of them . Now that you poured wine over your wounds (are you sure that the bottle was full when you opened it?), get up, shake the dust and reschedule it .0

Great job, karenleona!! Really - you've done very well!0 -
Thanks everyone for the props!
It so snowy and blizzardy here in Northwest Washington. Such a beautiful day today, dramatic weather. Looked like Narnia.
I am not going to be able to resist a LNS tonight. Everyone is bundled-up inside the house, to cozy to not allow myself some hot peanut butter cookies out of the oven. The trick is stopping after a few. Fooocus!

dewdrop...you have good impulse control, being able to put the dried fig back. Impulse control is essential and a skill that can be strengthened.0 -

Wow, kinda proud of myself. Went out to dinner with my best friend at the Melting Pot, did not overeat on my calories AND skipped dessert AND didn't snack when I got home. Yeah me. Now let's get two days in a row...0 -

Does anyone get my maths?!? This post was from Jan 18th.Me: 16 - LNS: 4
and should have been (I think...)
Me: 13 - LNS: 4
Unfortunately, I haven't quite been visionary, since my score today is:
Me: 14 - LNS: 5
so a little more to go till I reach the 16 points .0 -
I did notice the math, but thought you might have begun this thread a couple days early....so, no worries!
zaza - there's no crying at LNS Fighters. But, this *is* a CHALLENGE! So, come on, pull yourself up by the boot-straps, put your big girl panties on and just hang in there. You can do this! Even do just ONE NIGHT of NO LNS. You can do it!!0 -
PS - zaza, I trust you understand that everything I put in my last post was FULLY TONGUE IN CHEEK!
(i.e. if you want to cry, I'm totally okay with that, lol!!)0 -

how about having a whole bowl of crisp celery to munch on all night? that is healthy, nearly calorie free and would keep you away from the other stuff which would be a victory in itself0 -

wow...2 nights in a row  tonight will be a challenge so i have my celery washed and ready to munch on if needed0 -
