Me: 6* - LNS: 2, unless someone thinks that I should be punished for having 1 apple (but only that) past my cut-off0

I do not think any punishment is in order, dewdrop.
Sometimes, in fact, it is a good strategy to have a "healthy" snack - to curb the urge for anything unhealthy the remainder of the evening.
You did GREAT!0 -

LNS 3* last night
Me 6* tonight
had a hard time last night but the food that was causing the temptation is now gone. Tonight was also a challenge cause i have 500 calories left over and I never want to waste them but i was not hungry and I had eaten my planned snack and I managed to stay on track by remembering how frustrated i was for giving in last night.
this is a battle to be won one night at a time!!!0 -

I think karen gets *THE* biggest props for her effort ... she's 100% right that it IS "one night at a time".

You can do it!!! never give up! just one hour at a time!!!0 -
I agree with karen....nobody can "give up" on this challenge. I'll accept a "continue to try harder" statement, but NO GIVING UP!!
Ladies, if *I* can do this, *YOU* can do this. 3 months ago (maybe it's 4, now), I was a 100% late-night snacker. My goal was to aim to cut that down to 50% of the time being a LNS.
At this point, I'm just about down to 10% of the time. Even if it stays around 20%, that means that 80% of the time I am NOT A LNS!!
Gosh, by the 80-20 rule, that's just, well, that's just AWESOME.
You can do this. I promise.0 -

Zaza
That is wonderful news, Zaza! STAY FOCUSED and get back on track, lady! That is all I have to say.
Oh, maybe just one more thought: you CAN DO IT! I have seen it happen before. Start now! :flowerforyou:
Me: 7* - LNS: 2 Thank you so much for your support, friends! :flowerforyou:
Keep up the good work, everyone! I love the spirit here - everyone's soooo supportive! :flowerforyou:0 -

greenescape - it *does* get easier, doesn't it!! I am finding the same thing.
Actually, I give myself *permission* to LNS what I want, all that I want, one night per week. And, I'm finding that when that night rolls around, sometimes I just say, "myeh, I don't really want to LNS, after all..."
So, giving PERMISSION to have a celebratory LNS evening is very freeing!! Sometimes I might indulge, and sometimes I might not. But, at least now, it feels as if it is driven by my CHOICE rather than some emotional hunger/boredom response that used to be ABSOLUTELY UNCONTROLLABLE!
I REALLY like the *control* this (and previous) challenges have given me!0 -

Okay, I am back after 3days of no reporting. I work 12hr night shifts and sometimes it is hard to find time to access my LNS fighting group. But I was so good during work, all 3 shifts I did not eat when I did not want too! So my tally now is:
Me: 10
LNS :1
Woot! I must admit that it is now 2am and my old lizard brain would love to eat something. But my clear and rational brain just says, " no, please NO"!0 -
