TMBG came to Louisville last summer for a free concert and it was so much fun ^_^ Still one of my favorite bands ever.
Today I'm a nerd because I had to ride the train into DC for a meeting, and I geeked out to They Might Be Giants the whole way. When I wasn't jamming, I was reading Terry Pratchett. Double nerd!

My favorite of all time. I used to live in Atlanta and got to see them occasionally, but now that I'm in Baltimore I get to see them a lot more - I can see them here, in DC, Philly, New Jersey, and NYC with no real problem. Yay!

Today is my last day at work until November 23rd. As of Tomorrow morning, I will be on a flight to OKC to stay with my friends of 18 years. I met them all ( 2 seperate households plus a couple more flying in to visit ) and we've been a regular D&D group since then.

Our guild is the Dream Warriors and we play D&D, MMORPG's, and a regular NWN Campaign that we use to help us all stay in touch. I will be there from Saturday the 10th all the way through Tuesday the 20th...and there will be *at least* five days in there that will consist of 12 hours of D&D.

My God...it will be glorious. :drinker:

That sounds like SO much fun. I'm a M:TG person myself cause I'm too self-conscious for D&D, but the concept of the days of nothing but having fun with friends - sounds so great!

Got upset about Firefly being cancelled again while watching 'Firefly: Browncoats Unite' last night. (Wearing a Supergirl shirt, drinking tea from a Wonder Woman mug with an exploding Tardis blanket over my legs.)

Because I use pictures like this for my facebook profile.

Also, I'm totally jealous of your exploding TARDIS blanket, dixie_amazon. I bet it's cozier on the inside.

*Sorry, the picture isn't posting right and I have to leave for work. I'll try to fix it later.

I recorded it, but I expect to have the exact same reaction when we watch it.

And - do you watch Castle? Last Monday's episode was a geeksplosion, with some Firefly love thrown in the mix. :)

Sadly, (no, wait - AWESOMELY) I know Dr. Horrible by heart. I go to Dragon*Con every year and they always do a Buffy Horrible Picture Show - essentially they have a live cast act out the 'Once More With Feeling' ep of Buffy in front of a screen playing it, with audience sing-a-long and participation. Immediately after, they do the same thing with Dr. Horrible. SO MUCH FUN!!!

Today I'm a nerd because I'm watching The Walking Dead wearing a seriously bad *kitten* Walking Dead T shirt that my lovely wife sent me from Australia. Not only I'm a nerd but I'm a damn happy one :-).

My friend and I are making a special trip to Denny's tomorrow to check out their Hobbit menu. I say "special trip" because we apparently live in the only metropolitan area in the US that doesn't have a Denny's within 5 minutes. I've never felt like such a victim of marketing in my life, but we're super excited.

I am at work watching You Tube vids, ran across a special The Weakest Link with Doctor Who cast members from 2007 and have already yelled, laughed, screamed at the computer screen more than 10x already >.>

I was wandering about my mall filled with xmas decorations every where when I saw a new store Comics & Coffee, I kept walking as I was checking the store and smacked right into a Xmas display, nearly knocking it over.

We're re-watching SG-1 after getting a friend hooked on it.... It's okay, I'm not scared to admit it. I'm a nerd.
