    I am really just trying to find some new vices. Before I had kids I smoked for a long time. And I worked all the time. Once I got pregnant food replaced the smokes and I no longer worked outside the home so I was more free to eat any time of the day or night. My other vices like TV, the internet, going out with friends all are connected with eating, too. I have really had to trace my steps very far back to find what it is I even love to do anymore.

    So far I have started taking baths again, doing crafts (mostly for the kids scouts and school but I really like it), meditating again, hiking again, reading more, taking more walks.

    I remember how much I loved dolls when I was a kid. So I think I might try making a reborn doll or dollfie and see how that goes. I used to write a lot when I was a teen and young adult so I want to get back to that as well.

    it is truly amazing how much more of yourself you find when you stop covering it up with food.

    I am a smoker, trying to quit, can't smoke in my rental and winter in wisconsin just isn't going to allow me to smoke. Anyways, try crochet. Just go to your library or to a walmart and get a book on crochet and a hook and some yarn. I love it. I used to knit but it takes too long. In my opinion crochet is easier and faster. However keeping your hands busy seems to keep your mind busy and that helps.

    I am so glad I'm not the only one. Thank you for sharing. Everything in my life is wrapped up with my kids and job and rush rush rush, that I also do not know what I like anymore aside from eating, baking or drinking a cocktail full of calories. Maybe that is the problem we forgot we existed.

    I actually do like walking in a mall and looking around. Have not done this in a long time. went from 223 to 240 due
    to giving into negative thinking, today, i had 1500 cal and feel better.

    OMG ! so totally true... Check out emilynoel82 then she is really good @ the makeup tutorials n stuff. You can also try cutegirlshairstyles for hair stuff.. I find great comfort in watching these videos when ever a craving hits ... :)

    I will sit down and watch one of my favorite chick flicks, and paint my nails.
    Watching youtube videos and finding fun ways to fix my hair/makeup and getting all prettied up - great for self-esteem
    tanning bed (but not that often) or just laying out in the sun to tan
    taking over the house with my music or audio book..
    zumba! I love to zumba. I am a mom, so most the time I have to pay for a sitter to go..so it's a reward..lol
    for a bigger reward, I will go see a movie in the theaters, or live theater which is a good time...even if it's for the kids
    Dancing with the girls (after one of those makeover sessions..just like getting ready for prom..)

    I'm obsessed with Pinterest!!
    I love going on "Pinterest" and have a bulletin board full of tips and projects I want to try. I also love to bake .. and believe it or not, I don't really have a problem controlling myself or being around it. I leave a little at home for my kids to enjoy and I take the rest in to work and let my co-workers enjoy it. The fun for me is making it .. not eating it.

    Pinterest has saved my *kitten* many a day! Love doing the gardening, crafting, occasionally making party foods...it's the perfect place for me to find something to do. I also like to pin pics of places I want to go, things I want to see.

    Pinterest is my favorite...I look at all the quotes and humor....I also enjoy the women fashions.. Can't wait till I am able to fit in the fashionable clothes. It definitely.

    I find a nice coffee is just as satisfying to me as a bar of chocolate or a cake - and way less calories!! I don't go for the latte's or cappucino's tho... also I joined a health club and go swimming then reward myself with a bit of time in the hot tub, plus a sauna and steam which is pure bliss!

    I read articles on entrepreneurship and marketing (nerd, haha). I also blog and look at other blogs.

    Oh, and I drink a lot of Crystal Lite and Coffee...not sure if that's healthy though LOL

    Does anyone have any good STOP & meditate tips? I catch myself letting my need to binge get too far gone. I tried to put the M&M's down just now, but I didn't win....seeing as I had 5 cookies just before that I'd like to puke =( I need to get in the habit of catching things sooner & calming myself down before it's too late. It happens a lot at work so my options can be limited (they frown upon me stopping to do my nails or take a bath hahaha)!

    Any ideas? Feel free to send me a message....

    What can I do when I'm at work? The most difficult time for me is when I'm at work (sitting at a desk in front of the computer) and I can't really go take a bath....I do surf the net and come on MFP but any other ideas? I do get up and take breaks every now and then....any other ideas besides taking a walk? :smile:
