I did Marie, but with all this going away it has been a tough summer and challenging.

Shirley, You are just going to have to cope with it as best as you want to. What you only have about 2 months out of the year for sailing.. I know Dave do not want to give it up nor you. I think you are handling it beautiful.

Just for today I will stick to not eating meat at all meals. My goal is only one meal a day and
a vegetarian meal once a week. I have to get myself a good vege recipe book.

I bought wo of these grocer bags at Walmart and nothing but plant food going in them.

Hello Marie - Glad we are starting this thread again.
Today I will eat when I am hungry and finish when I am full. I am reading a new book and so I feel liberated from dieting which I have been doing for over 25 years or more. I would recommend this book to anyone who diets or feels they should diet. It sure has changed my way of thinking.

Just for today, I will complete my office work, eat no processed foods and drink no wine. (Even if my 24 year old son decides to be rude for no apparent reason.) Today, I will be "back on track" and making healthy moment by moment choices.0

Good job Marcella, you are dedicated to a healthy way of life.
I may not be losing alot of weight but I am finding my way with food again. I am not restricting any food now I just have to get a handle on do I really want that candy bar. Its a process but it makes me feel good.
Today I will eat when I am hungry and stop when I am full. Still finding my way from dieting.

My blood sugar was102 this morningater my doctor increase my lantus to 30 units. Time for my shower0

I haven't been here for a while. You all know I am going to a diet clinic, we all know diets don't work.
We lose and then we gain it all back.
Anyway, I have relaxed a bit about the clinic and my last visit went well. I am trying to up my protein and fiber. My last health educator said I was doing fine on my food choices. I am not going restrict any foods but I will still make healthy choices.
So in saying that....Today I will make healthy choices and eat when I am hungry and stop when I am full.

I have change my plan up somewhat I am eating all good carbs Whole grains. all veggies and fruit. my eats today. oatmeal with canned peaches in fruit juice coffee lunch ****In th e oven round fries with ketchup serving of spinach Water ***** dinner spanish rice. Water 2 dates
I am not having any fat or oil of course no meat no dairy My first day. and it went fine.
Going out tomorrow to eat with family Going to have to really watch it

Didn't get the menu planned. But that can be done on Sunday.
Also, I forgot the hot tea. Plan to do that on Sunday too.

Just got back from our trip of shopping and now back to business. I am still hurting with my knee and I think I will eventually see the doctor. I am giving my chiropractor a chance on this to heal me.
My exercise has stopped since my knee pain, so I will have to decrease my calories since I am not working out.
So for today I will record all food on my diary which I have to bring to the clinic anyway.

We are almost ready to start a brand new month. Lets make the best of it.
For me no junk food except Christmas day.Will just stick to my whole grains fruit & veggies till then.

Well I did record everything and I got in 30 minutes with 10,000 steps.
Shirley it is so hard when you are motivated but can do your exercise. Sorry.
