I havent been here in a really long time, if he's made a change I have yet to see it- only for lack of exposure to him. I would recognize if there was an honest change, even if it is someone who has hurt me as much, as deeply and as often as he has.
I cant forgive him because he isnt remotely sorry, nor does he give a rat's *kitten* if or why he could possibly be incorrect, but its good news to know that there hopefully wont be more occasions where he tells me to give up on my life.0 -

This whole "physical ideal" stuff cracks me up. I know men that think I'm the bees knees (funny, smart, attractive, etc) but won't date me because of my height. It intimidates them.
I am 5'10" and this is the exact opposite reaction I get. Most guys that want to date me - both taller and shorter - really like that I'm tall and think it's sexy. Then again, I'm secure with my height. Perhaps you only see the reaction you anticipate as opposed to the one the men are truly giving off?
I'm 5'9 and I have never had my height bother a guy before. Tall or short they all seem to like it. I think alot of it has to due with how you carry yourself. I see lots of tall women who slouch or wear baggin clothes in an attempt to make themselves shorter. It just makes them look selfconsous.

I cant tell you how many times Ive been let down nicely and not so nicely at the end of dates because every time I stood up I emasculated them.... You know how heartbreaking it is to be told you're too big to date normal people? Im not talking overweightness that you can correct, im talking about being told my skeleton's physics makes men feel like they dont have penises.
I would like to personally thank Yoovie for coming to support me - I have had the same experience. I'm glad for the other ladies of height that they haven't felt like this in the dating world, but it's also nice that to see that I'm not alone. And seeing how beautiful and strong Yoovie is, I think men are just retarded...LOL0 -

LOL it did make me giggle first thing this morning.
I do have to say though if a man ever said anything mean or rude about my hieght he would no longer be even remotely attractive to me. BUt I love my height. I love being tall. It just makes the fact that I am curvy even more awesome. And I'm curvy no matter what my weight lol. Now my curves just look better. MY Bf is about 1/2 an inch shorter than me. I had to adjust my thinking when I started dating him. "Ideals" are great but all men arent 6'3 with long hair and tattoos and green eyes (my preference). Just because everyone has an Ideal doesnt mean that we wont date others. And how can we jump on people over what their version of an Ideal. Its their ideal. Personally I've had a more interesting time since I hit my 30's and when I'm single never lack for someone to go out with. But as DM pointed out I've lost alot of weight which makes a difference. It also makes me confident. I honestly believe confidence makes the biggest difference for both men and women0 -
