Sorry - missed the response. Just responded with an estimate.0 -
Hello, could I get an estimate please. 5'8" 226
EDIT: Pics removed per request
Hard to get accurate over the mid 20%s and over a certain hair threshold but we'd put you somewhere in the low 30s.0 -
Alrighty, here it goes. I'm primarily focusing on lowering my bf%, so it would be great to get your estimate. I use the scale output solely to track the trend, as I doubt I'm as low as it's analyzing.
I'm 5'8, 144lbs. Let me know if you need any addt'l pics. And thanks!!!

6'2" 196 lbs - lost 20 lbs in the past 2 months
posted this in another forum and was told this group would be a better place to ask this question -
I'm slowly getting back into shape and since Thanksgiving I've gone from 217 to 196. I usually weigh 205-210 +- 5lbs so when I got to 217 I decided I needed to pay more attention to my nutrition and to begin a work out program. When I was younger I played sports and lifted weights and I feel like I've been lucky enough to retain a decent amount of muscle mass over the years despite not going to the gym in at least 10 years.
So right now my goal is to lose body fat while maintaining whatever muscle i have by eating well on a restricted diet (1900 cals/day - 40% protein 35% carbs 35% fat) and working out 3-4x a week for about 20 mins a day and focus on compound movements to get my muscles back in shape/maintain.
I'm thinking I can maintain plan this for about 6-8 more weeks and if i can reach my ideal short term goal of 185 lbs / 14% BF then at that time I will reevaluate my goals depending on how I look/feel. This past week I cut my calories to 1500/day and lost 3lbs which I'm happy with and was comfortable doing because I didn't feel like i was starving myself, but I'm not sure if am hindering my fat loss by not consuming enough calories and slowing my metabolism.
If you guys could give me an estimate on my BF% i would really appreciate it. I have a BF% scale which gives me a ready of anywhere from 19-22% and has given me that same reading from when I was 217 to what I'm at now which is 196. I'm guessing I'm around 18-20% BF and started around 22% BF. The first two photos are pics where Im relaxed. The last front photo I am slightly flexing

actually, last time you all had me in the 12-13% range…so 12% now would be progress
but yea, if you have the time to go back, take a look, and do a comparison that would be cool, and much appreciated…:)0 -

I was getting pretty frustrated with lack of scale movement, but there's an obvious difference in my pictures even though scale weight hasn't changed since October. I know it is probably tough to compare relaxed to flexed--the Feb pics are what I'd call "semi-flexed" as I was mostly looking to see if my arms changed much. Just curious for an opinion on then vs. now. I'm 5 foot 5.

Hi!
While it is hard to assess from a couple of pics, you look like you have made some increase in muscle mass from the prior pics. Your lats and delts look more defined.
Your stats would indicate this as well. Your weight is up a bit, but BF% looks to be down a little.0
