    Hi. I just joined the team today and I have a question about this challenge. I wear a pedometer and wanted to know if the miles I get throughout the day count towards this challenge. I wear my pedometer almost 24 hours a day.

    I am going to aim for 50 miles starting today. I have been doing 4 miles almost everyday this year so I hope that I can reach that goal this month! HAPPY WALKING EVERYONE!

    1/1 3 miles-walk slim 5 big miles. miles 1, 2, and 5 with warm up and cool down and stretch
    1/2 3 miles-walk slim 5 big miles. miles 3, 4, 5 with warm up and cool down and stretch
    1/3 1 mile-walk slim 5 big miles. mile 1 with warm up and cool down
    1/4 4 miles- walk slim 4 big miles.
    1/5 resting
    1/6 4 miles-walk slim 4 big miles
    1/7 4 miles-walk slim 4 big miles
    1/8 2 miles-walk slim 5 big miles. miles 1 and 5. with warm up, cool down, and stretch
    1/9 resting (working) I walk a lot on the job
    1/10 1 mile-walk slim 5 big miles. warm up, mile 5 and then stretch
    1/11 4 miles-walk slim 4 big miles, actually jogged around the basement on the boosted walking all three times
    1/12 walked at the mall. calling it 1 mile
    1/13 4 miles-walk slim 4 big miles

    After 8 weeks of walking with Leslie I finally made it through my first 5 miler. :happy:

    January Goal 60 miles

    1/2 - 4 mile walk + arms ultimate 5 day walk plan
    1/3 - 2 mile walk - ultimate 5 day walk plan
    1/4 - 2 mile - Walk slim miles 1 & 5
    1/5 - 4 mile - Walk Slim miles 1,2,3,5
    1/7 - 3 mile + abs - ultimate 5 day walk plan
    1/8 - 4 miles - walk slim miles 1,2,3,4
    1/9 - 3 miles - WTP
    1/10 - 3 miles+abs - ultimate 5 day walk plan
    1/11 - 4 miles+arms - ultimate 5 day walk plan
    1/13 - 5 miles - walk slim 5 really big miles

    Weekly Check-in... I'm happy to say it's the first time I've walked every day in a week for about a year, so thank you for posting the challenge!

    I would also like to say to those who are feeling winded with Leslie's one mile walks, stay with it and build up your stamina! I, too, started with the one mile walks and told myself that I could commit to the 20 minutes. As it got easier, I went to the two mile walks, which were really just 10 extra minutes. So, hang in there!
