So, I have a question. What constitutes for giving into the "The Binge"? Is it a full fledge binge or does giving into urges that results in overeating, even a little bit count? This is a seriuos question, not snarky in any way.

I think this is a pretty decent explanation (from http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1045795-what-constitutes-a-binge?hl=binge+is) :

"In behavioral disorder terms, a binge is classified by having a heightened and frantic (or else truly depressed and numb) emotional state. Consuming large amounts of calories totalling thousands in a short time (within a few hours) coupled with a fear and feeling of not being able to stop, even well beyond the point of making yourself sick.

The difference between binging and over-eating is the emotional and mental state that accompanies it. It is not eating a few hundred calories over. It is not even necessarily eating thousands of calories over. It is what is going on in your head WHILE you are overeating."

I am disgusted with myself. I was doing SO good, no binges in THREE weeks! I lost a significant amount of weight too (8 pounds). Now I can't get out of this pattern. We are going on vacation on Tuesday and getting family pictures taken on Thursday and I do not want to be in them. How sad, I put this much power on my weight. I really think that I just feel so bad from all the food I have eaten so how I am feeling inside is how I feel I look outside. I just want to give up, but know that I can't. I am so sick and tired of this.

Still binge free so far in July.

    Me: 21

    Binge: 0

I called in sick today because I was feeling super overwhelmed with stuff at work on top of just getting things done around the house with all the exercising I've been doing. Without the food it is getting hard because there's a lot of anxiety underneath the surface. I really need to address this anxiety soon. I need to work on not being ashamed to take care of myself.

Woah I didn't realize I hadn't logged in! Doing well...a beach trip is coming up with 30 (!) friends...so that's some motivation. Leaving in one month!

I've had a couple of days where I overate my calories but not in a "binge" - and I'm ok with that! Great progress for me!

In the middle of last night I woke up feeling shaky so I had something to eat. I am not counting that as a binge because it was purposeful eating, i.e. it cleared up that feeling and I went right back to sleep. Definitely didn't eat enough before and after my workout.
