W2D3 done and dusted! Week three here I come!!0
-
I finished W6D3 this afternoon. 22 minutes! I can't believe I made it. The first minute I felt like my knee was going to tweak out on me, but it was fine once I got into it. I started to fall apart at 7-8 minutes and 14 minutes but I pushed through.
I rewarded myself with new running pants and a running jacket. I found them both on sale at TJ Maxx.
W7D1 tomorrow and then a 3 day rest. I have karate classes on Monday and Wednesday so I C25K on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Good luck to everyone!

5 min warmup (easy peasy....runners high kick in)
Great run today!
Keep at it everyone!!0 -

Hopefully I'll get better as the weeks and days go by.

Been absent a while: Achilles issues kept me sidelined over Xmas but I am back. Dropped back a few weeks in the programme so i could build the tendon back up gradually: yesterday I finished W7D3 - 25 minute run. It was WARM in the gym but I did it.0

I usually hit the gym after work but it today was W5D3 and I was felling anxious about being able to do 20 minutes so I went at lunch. My pace is 5 mph so I actually had to run 24 minutes to get my 2 miles in. Smelling victory0

Humph. Went to the gym to run at lunchtime and it was closed for painting...

I fought my way through W5D3 on the treadmill...
the programme says 8MIN RUN +5MIN WALK + 8MIN RUN
I do my run/jog at 7.6-7.5 on the treadmill...I admint I couldnt do the whole 8 mins running at 7.5 and I wouldnt want to take it lower than that on the treadmill...so I adjusted it
4MIN RUN @ 7.5 +1MIN walk at 6.5 + 3MIN RUN@7.6
5MIN walk time was spent with leg press, leg curl and squats
2MIN RUN @ 7.5 +1MIN walk at 6.5 + 5MIN RUN@7.6
I made it to 2.51km (or mile..have no idea) in 22:31mins (I did some extra time to make sure I get to 2.50)
now..W6D1 is saying 10MIN RUN 5 MIN WALK and 10MIN RUN....
I have to ask what is a normal speed to run at for 10MINS....10MINS is an eternity for me in running...help?0 -
I am still to get through W1D2 on the ground0
-
W8D1 complete! I was able to run the whole 28 minutes w/o stopping!!! I kept a steady pace of 12:45 min/mi :drinker:0
