Today, I tried to take it easy. I did a 3 mile power walk with intervals but I also took a nap. We had a pancake breakfast after church and we went to a chinese gala that included a huge buffet. It was impossible to know what I was eating let alone count calories. So, I decided not to worry about it and just take a red day.0 -

Thank y'all for letting me know it is the steroids that is making me so hungry and also for the kind words. Hopefully the meds will help shrink the cyst, otherwise the Dr. says I will prob need surgery. Walked a little over 5 miles again today, but it took me 6 different walks to get it in. Getting it in is what matters though.....right?

@lkenn67---Chevy was the original founder of this challenge group. He suggested that you have a little wiggle room when eating at a deficit and therefor as long as you were not over more than 99 calories (so 99 in the RED) you were still "GREEN"
So a Chevy Rule / Chevy Style day is one that is in the red but by less than 99 calories....still claimed as Green.
It is a very useful tool. Enjoy the use of it! :smokin:0 -

In spite of Mexican for lunch; Hubby was available for a lunch date. :bigsmile: Eating out means I didn't walk, but it was freezing rain and my knees were bothering me today so I don't mind resting. NSV: I washed a size 8 skirt that belongs to my daughter tonight and tried it on for kicks. It fits. It was a little snug at the waist right after dinner, but it fits. WOOT!!! (I was a 16-18 when I started and now I'm an 8-10.)0 -

Today was the first day in a long time that I hit 8+ glasses of water in a day! and boy did I feel it this afternoon. No gym today because I had to do groceries after work today (and well because I just hate Mondays so much), but back at it tomorrow.0
