Final entry for June and a total of 194.7 miles moved.
Did my first open water swim yesterday and had a panic attack part way :sad: :sad: Good thing my husband was right there spotting me in the kayak . I grew up in the city and never really swam in lakes as a kid, and certainly never in truly open water until yesterday. Had been feeling good about the overall swimming progress for the tri, but now realize I need to be in open water at least a few more times before doing it with a whole bunch of people in a competition to get comfortable.

6/30 12.85 commute miles this morning, and i'm short just under 10! Maybe after work if I have the energy....i dunno. One of these days, I"l plan my mileage better!0

Sunny and 90 degrees. Yesterday it was crappy and low 60's. Oh well, at least I finished the month well. On July 12th, riding in a Cancer fundraiser in the high desert of Oregon. Either a century or half century, which ever one i can survive

Just jumping in to say hi, stuck at work for night three. Haven't walked since Saturday and I miss it. My Fitbit is broken and a new one is on tomorrow's to-do list as well as a few miles out in the sunshine.

Low 60's would have been perfect! We had 57, Snow on Logan Pass and avalanches in the park. Now this week it's supposed to be in the 90's. The temperature changes are going to kill me. :laugh: :laugh:0 -
