    Walked w/DH this morning for a very long time then hit the gym treadmills w/DDD for 30 mins. I'm done!

    3/18 - 2.73 miles
    3/19 - 10.75 miles

    Forgot to say congrats to Kar328 yesterday on her 5k. And happy early birthday.

    @clepant - why is it that racing is so much fun and training is so tedious? We're getting a cool front here Monday so I'm going to do one more long run. Ugh. But I think my body will thank me on race day.

    20th: 4.9 miles purposeful walking along a beautiful sunny promenade, 3.1 miles running - MTD 118.21

    I did a Sports Relief mile (11:08), then ran 2.1 m to the Prom to meet DH. Feeling pleased with myself. It was a slow 5k, but it was 5k and I did it!

    Mine is March 28th. Yours? Thanks - my official time turned out to be 30:29. I was 83/239 and 5/21 for the F50-59 group. I have another 5K next month, I still am trying to get under 30 mins.

    @k80flec - here's the giant colon - I can't even remember running through it - too oxygen deprived :smiley:

    Congrats to you running gals. Way to go. You finished and that is all that matters. I am so grateful to just complete my races. My knee is really struggling and I am not sure how many more I will be doing. Biking is most likely to be my new mode of exercise. I love both but will miss the running.
    March 20: Only 6.5 miles today...most of it walking around the emergency dept. while I waited to find out what was going on with my dad. Turns out he is dehydrated from his Lasix and extremely tired. He will stay for a few days to get IV's to build up his fluids and probably have another reduction in the amount. Hard to believe a year ago from last Christmas, he came to stay with us and 50 lbs over weight and nearly drowning in his body fluids. Today, he is a lean man but the same meds that saved him are putting him back in the hospital. Lasix and Coumadin are tricky drugs.
