First time posting on this thread, I believe - hope these are appropriate.
I've been tracking my hip & waist measurements along with weight. I've reached a hip measurement I haven't seen since literally the mid-1970s (35")! (Yes, I have no hips.)
Also, over the winter I aged up into the 60-69 category for indoor rowing, and - though this part is not the NSV - slipped down from "open weight" (aka "heavyweight") to "lightweight".
Why is this good? Well, the best, fastest rowers tend to be tall, strong women, so they're heavyweights. I'm not tall (5'5"). Now I'm not heavyweight either, so I'm competing with others more like me.
It turns out that this year's first ever "World Rowing Indoor Sprints" was also my first (virtual) competition in the new age/weight class. A race time that would've put me in 11th place in heavyweight was good for 3rd place in lightweight - in the medals! - right behind women from Denmark and Australia.
So this just recently arrived in the mail:

I think that's very exciting and quite encouraging to all of us Ann!
I have one.............I signed up with a new trainer for just a six week session. I need help working through some of these
damn injuries and a program I can follow without continuing to damage my body......LOL.
He wondered what my goals were because he could tell I didn't need to lose weight and he'd already noticed how strong
I was. He said he's seen me working out and was surprised by the weights I was lifting. I'll take that NSV.
Anyway, I start with him on May 11th............yippee!3 -

@luluinca, that sounds like the perfect way to take an already-effective and successful program to a new level of accomplishment, especially in a context where there are some physical challenges: Go, you! I hope it works out great.

Did something today haven't been able to do since a slip & fall body slam. A full squat into a sit into a full squat into a stand. Wait! There's more... repeated the sequence with a duck walk in the middle. I'm ecstatic. It's taken six months to regain that range of motion.
For my next trick, watch me pull a crab walk out of my hat... a la Bullwinkle D. Moose. I'll keep the duck for now.6 -

Level 60, that's so cute. And the group gift is hilarious.
I saw a coyote one morning early on my walk so my husband bought me pepper spray for my B'Day and now
he won't let me leave home without it.....LOL
