With nurses like that.... I'm getting sick!
I'm back at home after a great week away. Ate like crap but worked out every day. Love New York. Party time!5 -
Nice job team in making it to New York. My younger sister and I went at Christmas one year and saw the tree at Rockefeller Center - it was amazing. It's a special memory that I have of her.
I went for a run for 40 minutes today. I also ate a lot again, so good thing I did! Tomorrow I'm going to try to get in my long run for the week. I also need to do one more set of Rockette training, so I'll finish that off tomorrow too and be done with my challenges.
Hope everyone feels better, I'm sure all those nurses will help.4 -

When you're done with him @TamiJo1004

@hawinks410 best wishes for your father hope is feeling better soon.

LET’S TAKE A CAB!5 -
Did my rockette stretching this morning then off to our hike. 5.2 miles of beautiful outdoors this early afternoon. It was overcast and really though we would get rain but it worked out perfectly was so nice and cool. Not pushing or fighting over sales or long lines, no money spent, at least not yet. Haha
One more day then we are off to Disneyland for a few days on Sunday just my husband and I. Not sure how to calculate exercise during the 3 1/2 days in the park since we will walk most of day. I have a Fitbit but know the movement will also through off things. Maybe hard to get other challenges done until we come home Thursday but I will try.3 -
I did the Pilgrim's Promenade on Thanksgiving Day a 5k 3.3 miles, half indoors and half out my dog was thirsty and needed water. It took me 48 minutes and 35 seconds but I didn't put it on the sheet. Should I round up or down? I normally do not exercise on Thanksgiving but I was glad I did, now I don't feel as bad overeating all day. Now to keep it clean for the rest of the month and season. @MissionEnforcer finished the race part, now for the Rockettes3

Have fun with the Rockettes!
@mckelfam: Your hike sounds wonderful! You'll only be 27 miles from my house when you are at Disneyland! Come visit! I think most folks count about 1/2 their theme park hours. Have fun!!1 -

We are just 100 points behind TEAM 5 that is not the place were we belong right?
So give everything you have kick the calories from thanksgiving out of your body believe me you feel so good when you did it.
And if you hate me right now for pushing here a few workout giggles to bring that smile on your face.
One day while jogging, a middle-aged man noticed a tennis ball lying by the side of the walk.
Being fairly new and in good condition, he picked the ball up, put it in his pocket and proceeded on his way.
Waiting at the cross street for the light to change, he noticed a beautiful blond standing next to him smiling.
"What do you have in your pocket?", she asked.
"Tennis ball?" the man said smiling back.
"Wow," said the blond looking upset. "That must hurt. I once had tennis elbow and the pain was unbearable!"
A man calls a company and orders their 5-day, 10 lb. weight loss program.
The next day, there's a knock on the door and there stands before him a voluptuous, athletic, 19 year old babe dressed in nothing but a pair of Nike running shoes and a sign around her neck.
She introduces herself as a representative of the weight loss company.
The sign reads, "If you can catch me, you can have me."
Without a second thought, he takes off after her.
A few miles later huffing and puffing, he finally gives up.
The same girl shows up for the next four days and the same thing happens.
On the fifth day, he weighs himself and is delighted to find he has lost 10 lbs. as promised.
He calls the company and orders their 5-day/20 pound program.
The next day there's a knock at the door and there stands the most stunning and beautiful woman he has ever seen in his life.
She is wearing nothing but Reebok running shoes and a sign around her neck that reads, "If you catch me you can have me."
Well, he's out the door after her like a shot.
This girl is in excellent shape and he does his best, but no such luck.
So for the next four days, the same routine happens with him gradually getting in better and better shape.
Much to his delight on the fifth day when he weighs himself, he discovers that he has lost another 20 lbs. as promised.
He decides to go for broke and calls the company to order the 7-day/50 pound program.
"Are you sure?" asks the representative on the phone. "This is our most rigorous program."
"Absolutely," he replies, "I haven't felt this good in years."
The next day there's a knock at the door; and when he opens it he finds a huge muscular guy standing there wearing nothing but pink running shoes and a sign around his neck that reads,"If I catch you, you are mine!!!"
He lost 63 pounds that week.

@mamaelf2008 I will always share with you!
I feel a little better this morning! No fever yet, no chills yet. The toddler went to his other family all day yesterday and I got to lay around! Then he came home and slept 12 hours he just coughed and tossed and turned an hour in the middle while waiting on the Vicks rub to kick back in! I needed it too. I am doing my exercise this morning what I can. I am not fast but I am sweating then he is going to spend the afternoon with his other side so I can rest!
I had no appetite yesterday. I didn't even really want the ice cream I was just hoping it would numb my throats and it did!3 -
Let's pull it together! Team 5 is leading! We need to show them why we are Team 1!!!!3 -
-
You guys are the best!!! So much encouragement!!! @wolvinnetje there maybe interest in you publishing the phone number of that weight lose company!! Ladies I am proud that none of you asked that cabbie for a ride back to the hotel when there was so much shopping to get done on 5th Ave.
Please everybody get your posting done early so I don't have to haunt you!!! I've already sent some reminder messages to people that I have seen on the thread that haven't posted on the spreadsheet. The last couple of weeks MFP messaging got wacky on Sunday night. We don't want to miss anybody's hard work!!!2 -
-
I'm so excited this week, I bought myself a smart TV for my workout room (the basement). No more squeezing into the little space in front of my computer to do the challenge videos. I may even go back and do some of the old ones I really liked again! I really liked the Tai chi!3

been up since 4:15am and to work by 6am. Not sure how long Santa will keep me busy today. I'm guessing until around 4 or 5. I will do my best to get some more exercise minutes in. Luckily I did get a walk in during my lunch just to escape from everything and everyone.
You guys are doing spectacular!! Welcome back @Vowder2 -
I went for my long run this morning and finished up my Rockette training. I went to enter it in the spreadsheet and it was already filled in - I don't think it was me (but I could be wrong). If anyone accidentally put numbers in the wrong line, be sure to check that yours are filled in correctly. @LeoLivingByDesign - is yours okay?

Hi guys! Quick check in from Paris!! Got my 3k (and very much then some!) out of the way and entered. Need to add another 45 minutes of exercise. I'm off to bed-no sleep on the plane last night so I've been going on pure caffeine and excitement and now I need to sleep. LOTS of walking planned for tomorrow. I will log probably only half of it since some of that time will be spent gawking and taking pictures! I will definitely need that cab driver but (sadly?!) I don't need the doctor or nurse! Welcome @Ingrid2017 !4

So as I was sending out reminders to do the Thankful post or check to make sure you add your 5 points, I realized I have something else! to be thankful for ! My husband is retiring on Nov 30.after 37 years with the local government. That means I won't have to wrap Christmas presents ever again!!!!3
-
@120maggie: Congrats to your hubby and you!
Thank you for reminding everyone to complete and/or log their numbers and challenges!
I got to talk to my dad tonight and he sounded much better! Thank you for your kind words!
I know it is hard to believe, but
THE MOST AWESOME TEAM EVER
is on the verge of falling behind!

We need to step it up. I am hoping to get more minutes tomorrow.1 -
@MissionEnforcer I finished the rockette challenge, I like stretching and have not been able to access the spreadsheet from my phone will plan on updating in am when I can use my laptop. I remember all the time when I am in bed already. I set an alarm on my phone though to remind me for morning.
@TamiJo1004 hope you start feeling better soon
@wolvinnetje I agree, we can all pile into the cab and @Vowder can catch up with a nurse
@hawkins410 thanks for the reminders, it really helps2 -
Knocked off 1000 minute week. It's amazing how much easier it is with a workout partner.
Had a great week but am sure I put on some weight. Ate terribly (like ever other American on Thanksgiving weekend) but am not too concerned.
You guys keep your cab.... I'm still going to see the nurse. I think I have a tummy ache.
One more day... lets keep focused.
3 -
Great job on your 1000 @Vowder! I hope your tummy doesn't "hurt" too much to finish your Rockette Stretching tomorrow!
3 -
I feel better today! I am still not 100% but closer than yesterday!
Have a great day!3
