The 2nd Thanksgiving in a row where I ate till I was full but not stuffed. Just as sweet, I did not need a nap as soon as I put my fork down.14

Although I have experienced a significant relapse on my program, I am noticing that I am sometimes able to turn to strategies other than eating to handle emotions. I don't always succeed at this point and even though i have experienced major setbacks since transitioning to maintenence I still find that I am aware enough to sometimes actually utilize a non food coping strategy. Not on a regular basis at all, but even sometimes is progress.
While I was successful at weightloss, maintenance is truly hard for me and my relapse is significant, but I always knew the real battle for me is in this stage. I'm trying to ramp up my determination factor a great deal more as I kind of dropped that ball in the euphoria of finally getting very thin.
Still, proud to be the owner of a few fledgling non food strategies. New Year's resolution is to build those strategies way up.9 -
Had to move the ring Rowdy gave me for Christmas last year to my right ring finger from my left ring finger. Last night I was playing with the cat, shaking a toy and nearly shook it off my finger. (I wonder if this leaves my left ring finger open for a diamond? We are Texas common law married - not formally married)

I wore a button up shirt buttoned all the way up for the first time in years without the buttons pulling!! And my belly wasn't the first thing you saw when you glanced at me. I wore jeans and a button up shirt all day on Sunday without any discomfort. I feel amazing!13

Got into my small sweatpants, haven't worn them in like 8 yrs. When I was out, I noticed my reflection in the window, I have curves again, the apple shape was no where to be seen. I look in the mirror everyday, but it had not registered my body had shape shifted so much already, I still have a ways to go, but I really "saw" results today.
Oh editing to add, I can see my collarbones and hipbones again, I've missed them.14 -

The slacks I wanted to wear to work today were too wrinkled, so I dug into the back of my closet and pulled out an older, smaller pair the same color. I thought, "No way are these going to fit." Wrong! They were loose!!13

I took measurements on Nov 30 and even though I only dropped like 2 lbs for November, I was down 3.25" over the previous month including some 'zones' that have stayed static for half a year or more.17

I had something similar happen years ago. A hornet had gotten into my work truck with me, and I pulled over and flung the door open. The ring left my finger and flew to the center lane of I-85. Luckily, we were working nights in the middle of nowhere, so I was the only vehicle for miles, and found it without issue.5 -

No rings to lose here, but the hornet story reminds me of a time earlier this year when I was driving through the NW corner of AZ. It was late May and there was road construction. I was coming from CA and heading towards UT (via NV and AZ). My coolant recover tank had a hole about from an unfortunate raccoon incident, so I was leery about letting my engine get too hot because I wanted to minimize coolant loss. If the recovery tank filled beyond about 1/3 to 1/2, it would just spill out of the hole.
So I'm crawling along in stop and go traffic in the only open lane on the interstate (due to construction), windows down, and was even running heat intermittently to pull heat away from the engine. The construction workers must have busted up a bees nest or 3 at some point because I came upon a gigantic swarm. Before I could roll up my windows, they were already moving freely in and out of the windows and there was always a minimum of 3 in the car. So I stayed calm even as they landed on me, and avoided getting stung. When I got past the area, the last to leave my car didn't get replaced by new ones.1 -

I'm approaching a similar situation even though I'm still 25 pounds heavier than when I got married and 75 pounds from goal and my rings fit just fine when we got engaged/married.
My rings are a size 6.5 and I don't think they can be resized. Not sure what I'm going to do, I love my rings.0 -
wrap them in a pretty ribbon...the way we used to do guys class rings in high school
Or you can buy gold/silver ring guards that clip onto the inside of the ring and make it smaller0 -

I put a layer of clear UV Gel nail polish on the inside of mine. The kind you have to cure with a light.
It'll peel off every few months. Then I just do it again.3 -

Unfortunately, some of us will never get there. Hell, I spend so much time toying with ways to move it up and down, that I'll probably be bored and disappointed if it were to stay in one place for too long.0 -
Today I had a bit of a bandwagon falling issue. Decided that I needed a brownie and some crisps (I didn't). How is this a NSV I hear you ask? Because I recognised that neither of them tasted great, and now although my tummy feels very heavy, tomorrow I shall go back to eating low carb and not derail the rest of my month.7

Learning a valuable lesson is a great NSV!
I had one today too. Check up at the doctor to get my Adderall refill scripts and lowered my dosage again! I'm now taking half as much stimulant medication as I was taking in March of this year.
This may not be a health wrecking medication but I really don't want to use any more than I have to and I'm so amazed at how much keto and my C8 MCT oil have improved my mental focus.12
