Today I took my son out for breakfast, to a restaurant I haven't been to in several months. They have some of the smallest booths in town, and it's usually a really, really tight fit. There was a solid 5+ inches between me and the table today.9

oh boy I am looking forward to some of your things. @daylitemag when I started here last time you were starting too, am sorry now I dropped out for a while, you are SOOOOOOO far ahead. checking in everyday is what keeps me on track, last time I just slid back into carbs, not many I didn't gain weight but didn't lose anything either.
Hey @tishball if I can do this you can too! I've fallen off the wagon so many times I can't even count that high.0 -
I am back, it was accidently I left actually, my pc had problems so I didn't log on, and as the days went on I got lax with watching exactly what I was eating so over ate the carbs, not so much that I gained back weight but enough to just stay in a stall for two months. I got my backside back in gear and here I am again. Imagine if I had kept to it over the last two months I would be way farther ahead by now, but Ill get there. Slow and constant and one day I will be adding nsvs to this thread. lots of them.3

If that happens again, do you have a smart phone? Or spend the $7 to get a book of food counts and keep it manually. Plan ahead now. Good luck!0 -

But just think of where you'll be only two short months from now!0 -

@Panda_Poptarts - you know the abs just stay warm and fuzzy and hide out under the flab layer, right? That's why we don't turn into Jabba the Hut... LOL
Good point. Should I have anything visible, though, this overweight? I dunno. Maybe I'm peeling away the warm winter blankies and my abby toes are hanging out? Hehe.
I haven't lost any weight in awhile, but I've noticed my stomach is getting "harder" around where your abs are suppose to be...now if I just get this mommy pouch to go away!1 -
I got a ticket yesterday. Not good.
I noticed that I am 20 lbs lighter than my drivers license weight. Very good.
I've been lieing on my license for decades.
Can't wait to march down to the DOL in a few months and get a new license just for weight.6 -

I've got one of those too. I joke that I'd be skinny without it lol.
Great progress!!!

That is sooo cool. I have a smart phone, and I had myfitness pal on it, just seldom use that app. I will use it more in the future. It seems a bit different than the last time I used it, easier to log etc.1

@Panda_Poptarts I just found that faint line this morning too, plus an outline of where obliques might go. Major motivators those little divets!3

I find that I'm needing smaller pants just as my old work pants need to be replaced. Can't wait to throw them away. It's been 20 years since I wore size 34. I was so traumatized when I had to go up a size that I kept an old pair around for nearly 10 years waiting for the day I would get back into them. I am glad I got rid of them however, no one wears corduroy anymore.9

@Fvaisey like you, I need smaller clothes. I am seriously stalling on buying smaller gym tops, but my shirts are not staying where they belong. It's both a great feeling, and a minor annoyance, right? You rock!!

Ahem. You will buy more after you accidentally flash someone. If you sew, you may be able to just sew a second seam on the inside to tighten it up a bit.3 -

Lol
I lied on mine too and I'm also 20+ pounds lighter now.0 -

I do sew, and I'm thinking of trying this. All the important things are covered up, but.... yeah. I need smaller shirts.0 -
So I'm sitting here at my desk in a size 15 junior...... I actually got the xxl out of habit but I swam in it and went down to the xl. I could have probably gotten into the L if they'd had it in stock.
It's a print dress in cream and pinks. LOL This is not something I would have EVER worn 5 months ago. Wow. I can finally kiss my blacks and dark colors goodbye!!!6 -
I burned my bacon because of an NSV today. Lol
So, I was cooking bacon in the oven for lunch and I didn't set the oven timer because I was staying in the kitchen doing some cleaning. But then I kept realizing that the tank top I was wearing was open so much at the arms that I could see my lady garments underneath. I went to check how inappropriate I looked in the mirror because I was planning on wearing this all day, even to my sons baseball game later.
Since I decided that I shouldn't flash everyone by wearing last years shirt that's now entirely too big for me, I decided that I could easily sew the straps shorter, bringing it up higher and then I wouldn't be obscene. So, on a hard core ADHD wave of hyper focus, I immediately began seeing the top.
Top fits! Forgotten bacon burned.8 -
Its just coming into winter here so I went to buy a couple of merino jerseys, I grabbed the 3xlarge size off the shelf, the shop assistant said ' Oh no honey, that's not you, try the Large if not the Medium' . I bought the Large and its not even tight! So happy13

WONDERFUL NSVS!!! Congratulations everyone! Even for the burned bacon!1
