Take progress pics!

I am too vain or modest or something to post much skin, so these will be in clothes. That is the only way I have anything like a before picture anyway. These are a couple of pictures taken before and after to give some idea of progress. The jeans are 8 in smaller in the waist in the right hand picture. The before picture is 12 lbs under my max weight but gives an idea of where I started. The weight loss in the pictures is about 70 lbs.

Congrats, awesome results!

I honestly have no pic's of me - I hate being photographed, and I am not photogenic. I simply don't allow it. But this is my wonderful H., before and after. Before, he weighed 15st 9lbs. (219lbs).
After, he weighed 13st 7lbs. (189lbs) - a loss of 30lbs...
He has, since the after pic was taken, lost a further 5-and-a-half lbs....
It's what you can't see, that is more impressive... No more diabetic meds, no more HBP meds, no more statins, no more reflux meds, no more joint pains.... Ah, so proud......26 -

Whoa! I am impressed. 219 lbs is quite the effort. Getting off the meds because you don't need them any more is pretty sweet.

@2t9nty He's had a loss of 30lbs - I didn't really make that clear before, although I managed, just in time (!) to go back and rectify...
He's lost the weight since March 27th of this year, and he's still losing....
To say I am so proud of him, is honestly an understatement. He has a pretty stressful job (Customer services, Repair centre, Complaints dep't!) so he gets an earful all day every day from disgruntled people with a sense of entitlement, who believe they've been short-changed! 98% of the time, they haven't...he gets the odd, rare case where he's more than happy to help and rectify, but for the main part, those he contacts, are unfortunately batting on a sticky wicket....
And they don't hold back! One guy even threatened to come to his place of work, find him, and batter him to death with a club hammer.... nice, eh?
So I would think he had every justification to buckle under the strain and lapse now and then. But nope. He's a determined guy, and he's sticking with this through thick and thin. Great guy. (I'm biased, I know.....)7 -
I don't come on here as often as before apparently, but good job everyone! So motivational
I made this tonight for #facetofacefriday lol

Love this thread....been meaning to post mine but haven't made it a priority. Will try to get mine up this weekend.1

I should do this again. My inches are suddenly changing dramatically....as evidenced by the FINALLY smaller size I can wear. lol7

I haven't been totally off the wagon, but I've definitely been slacking...I like to come back to this post to get motivated by all y'alls progress. I want to be able to contribute some of my own! Good work!

My waist size has dropped over 5 inches since May 1. I am not sure why the sudden change, but I will take it. I bought a new pair of jeans today 10 inches smaller in the waist than what I was wearing in January 2016. They are not even relaxed fit.11 -
These are all really great! I will have to ask someone to take a few before pics for me to keep on the fridge and some progress picture as I lose :-)1

Just found this thread after a bit of a hiatus from forums
You all look wonderful. Great jobs!2 -
I have to say...while I'm super happy with a 20lbs loss in two months. It's a little discouraging when I can't see any difference. My clothes aren't fitting differently and there hasn't been much loss in measurable inches. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining...I can feel the difference in regards to my mood, energy level, and just a lighter internal feeling in general (no more loaf of bread and rocks feeling in my gut). I know this is a marathon, not a sprint...but I guess I was just hoping my progress pics would yield better results. The left is before at 236, the right is after at 216.
You are overall smaller in the after pictures. Your body type just loses all over instead of spot reducing So.. you're smaller...keep going.. you're doing great!!!!6 -
I've been low carb/Paleo for 13 years but I started Keto in March 2017. Just found this pic of me from last summer & though I still have a ways to go to reach goal weight, I see such a big difference! I think there's about 20 pounds lost between the pics. The decrease in inflammation makes a big difference, too. I'm 5'8" for reference, and about 190 right now.

Congrats, you look GREAT!2 -
Thanks, @bametels ! As always I'm nervous my body will stall out before I reach goal weight but I feel like with the knowledge I've gleaned here & in the ketogenic forums I now have tricks up my sleeve too keep the weight loss going we'll see0

Lookin' great @LizinLowell from head to toe!0

@kpk54 Thank you! I'm impatient to get down to my previous low adult weight (179 which I think I was at for like, a day 4 years ago lol) but looking at this progress shot makes me feel like I've already accomplished quite a bit even if the scale is slow.2

You all look amazing, Great work!!0

You look good!2 -
@binkviv thank you!0

Updates even though I haven't been LC in months because keto bulking is terrible.
Getting a bit fluffy for my tastes, but I am still within my target weight for a meet in September. My wilks is steady increasing, and I am within spitting distance of qualifying for USAPL Nationals at my first meet (need 1145 total, at 1020).

I've always hated getting my picture taken. I took photography courses so I could be the one behind the camera instead of infront of it! So I have very few pictures of myself. I did not think to take 'before' pictures, because when I started, I wasn't really of the mindset that I was starting. I was just trying something a little different, but expected to fail as I had so many other times.
Anyhow... here's a 'before' pic. This is from 2011 when I weighed my heaviest -- approximately 450 lbs.
And this is today, at about 240 lbs.
I'd still like to lose another ~70 lbs, so maybe next year I'll do this again.42 -
Started exactly 6 weeks ago and have lost 30 lbs. love this lifestyle!!36 -
You all should be so proud!! Such inspiration!4

The first image (me on the right in the white shirt) just came up on my Facebook feed from 4 years ago. The second image was taken about 6 weeks ago before my DD's spring formal. At least 125 pounds lost since March 2015 and now working on the maintenance game! Still struggling with being in front of the camera...

@eneild, @urbansmamma, @Steph_Maks, @Gallowmere1984, @binkviv all extraordinary, impressive, admirable, amazing and beautiful! Really, really beautiful! I hope those who profess to be uncomfortable in front of a camera will see just how impressive they look, and not get behind it! Any discomfort is totally unwarranted and unjustified! You all look incredible, you all look wonderful!!3

140 to 122 pounds, 6 months.
I've been told by a few people that I'm getting too thin. I don't let their words hurt me. I'm doing this to fix my liver, the weight loss is just a wonderful side effect! I remind myself that if the fat visible from the outside is going away, than the fat inside my liver SHOULD also be going away!
24 -
@LizinLowell That looks like way more than 20 lbs! You look great.
@Gallowmere1984 That is not fluffy! Unless you mean the hair. You look great! The hard work has really paid off. You should put a before picture in here to impress the newer members with!
@Steph_Maks Oh my goodness! You are half gone! What a job. Congratulations! You look lovely!
@eneild Wow. You look fantastic. You'll be the smallest one in group photos now!
@CRZYFTM Great work! With a belly that flat, your liver should be MUCH happier.4
