I love that photo, the kids are growing like weeds while at the same time I was shrinking!2 -

I have been toying with LCHF and IF for a couple of years now but reading your story has given me the determination to really go for it. I have around 100lb to lose and if I even get anywhere near your loss rate I will be a very happy bunny. Best wishes, Lloyd.
One of the big reasons I'm posting all this is in the hope that others in similar circumstances might find it to be useful information. If you haven't yet I suggest you also go though all of @arguablysamson 's videos on his OMAD Revolution Youtube channel. There is a tremendous amount of good advice and motivational material in them.
Thanks Jim, will do and I'll keep following your story too of course0 -
Jim my hero! your eyes are totally present so good!0

Wow how did I not see this!!! Amazing. Congratulations Jim! How freaking inspiring0

LoL Jim! too much good food around these ladies are killers when they post their stuff! LOL0

It's true, OMAD has some serious food porn happening.
I love though how a group focused mainly on health and weight loss so totally celebrates good food.2 -

Jim you and your nephew are twins; two good looking guys! I immediately saw the shirt and just...smiled.0

Pretty sure that I experienced a whoosh last week, which is why this week's high weight dropped by 6 pounds.
I'm thinking based on past history that the next 2-3 weeks will be a little flat in terms of losses.
Still I'm hoping to hit my phase 1 goal within August because that will mark the one year anniversary since I started this campaign.3 -
Way to go, Jim! I always think the same when I drop 3+ pounds in a week.
I have no doubt you'll reach your August goal!0 -
Well oiled machine. Time marches on and you're progressing every minute of it. Awesome results.0

Well last week I predicted flat weight loss this week and sure enough it did. I managed to eek out a small loss for the week but for most of the week I was up 2 pounds. It only corrected in the last 2 days. I'm not worried, I think its just a cyclical thing. I am going to tweak things a bit, rather than fast one day per week I'm going to fast 2 consecutive days every other week.
I had set an August goal of doing a 2.5 hour run and did it this morning actually timed out at 2 hrs 40 min. It wasn't that bad but glad that it's over.

Not as of this time. Next year I'll venture out and do some 5-10k type races and then we'll see where it goes. Mainly for the social fun and the challenge of making a PR. If I feel good and the knees are holding up I suppose it's possible that I would set my sights on another marathon, but I'd say not before next fall. Would need to log many more miles to get to that point.0 -
Just showed me sissy your pics and she was in awe... Great job babe0

A loss is a loss and you are still trending down!! 2 hours 40 running amazes me! I think the longest I've ever run was about an hour and I was about 35 and super fit. Congratulations!!0
-
You're doing AWESOME!!! Your average weekly loss is over 3 pounds!!!0
-
Fantastic, Jim! A bunch of us seem to be in the tweaking phase at this time. So wonderful to go through this altogether with such an awesome group of people to help along the way by encouraging and supporting.0

You are doing OMAD (losing weight stage) for more than 1 year with awesome results. Congrats !
I have one question for you: during this period, do you feel that the body need a pause from losing ? Or, do you feel that you lose too much into a very short time ?0 -

At this point also I do not have so much left to lose, perhaps 15 pounds. It seems that based on the experience of others the final weight comes off slower.
Until this point I have broken through these pauses by doing extended fasting. In the next month or two I may do one more extended fast, perhaps 7-10 days, in order to reach my final goal weight range.
But also this is not for sure. At this point I am much more patient, if it takes 1 month or 5 months I'm not so concerned because I'm already over 90% of the way to the finish. Most of the hard work is done.
